Can't say I disagree, although I do find the early game fun in some aspects. Personally, I don't believe I have ever slotted a TO enhancement ever and they don't sell for anything so eliminating them is not such a far off idea. Especially since we can run DFB or DiB or Summer BB now and collect random SOs to use or sell. Kind of makes DOs/TOs irrelevant.

Can the enterbasefrompasscode slash command get added to the list of slash commands? example: /enterbasefrompasscode <passcode>

This has probably been asked many times, so forgive me if it has - Will we eventually be able to donate outside of the usual donation window? I would love to contribute, however I keep missing the usual window.

For clarity, I totally agree it was the Dev intent for Rage to have the -DEF crash. What I object to is "what the Devs intended" being incorrectly passed off as the set-in-stone unchangeable rule. We will never know whether the original Dev intent would have changed or not if the game were still running "live". For all any of us know, the Devs would have found that the change was fine and left it at is. They also could have found it didn't work the way they wanted and tried something completely different. Nobody knows what they would have done. It should not be used as an excuse to dismiss and not explore potential ideas here and now.

"What the Devs intended" is not a valid argument from the standpoint that the Devs intended to do a lot of things which they subsequently changed their mind on as the game progressed.

I think that is a fair speculation as it would make sense.

I don't think it needs a +RES - the DMG and ToHit buff are more than enough IMO. Personally, I would not mind if Rage were made an un-stackable, non-click ability, based off the enemy NPCs in range - sort of like Invincibility or Against All Odds. Something that builds up over time and then auto-fires when full.

It isn't an assumption. You are shouting down others who have a differing opinion. Not everyone plays the same way and everyone has different opinions. Yes, opinions and those are what matter. If a person does not like the game because something does not work or play to their liking, all the math in the world is not going to change that. Anyway, this is a pointless discussion. This is never going to get changed back to what it was on live, which is all that some of us wanted. I'm happy that those of you who are fine with Rage as is can enjoy it.

The Devs also had Instant Healing being a toggle and didn't have ED back in Issue 1. The game evolved quite a lot since that time.

It was supposed to be unavoidable prior to the addition of SR, Shields etc. for Brutes and Tanks. No doubt this would have been worked on further to become more palatable for heavy DEF reliant sets.

Shouting down others is what the uneducated do instead of having a discussion. Some folk just don't like points of view that differ from them, so they shout them down because thats all they can come up with.

You didn't have Shield Defense, SR etc. for Tanks back then, so the avoidable -DEF crash was moot.

Right, so absolutely no one - not a single person who is NOT on Discord doesn't have any "real in-game experience" or have tried all sorts of builds and such. Got it. You just lost any shred of credibility you may have had.

The opinions of the people on Discord are no more or no less correct, incorrect or valid than those expressed here, despite your assertions otherwise.

INV relies on DEF via Tough Hide and Invincibility (and many rely on Weave or CJ to supplement them) - all of which play a role in INVs mitigation. The -DEF crash cuts this near in half.

Just so we're clear, near halving the total DEF value on sets relying on DEF doesn't make them weaker in any way?

But that's the thing - the builds are not broken - Rage is.

Shield Defense, Invulnerability (yes, it is a Defense set) - any set relying on Defense is impacted.
