Of course it's a point of view. The person who berated the OP is a jerk, plain and simple. They're not worth a seconds thought or care. Global ignore them and move on. That's what these features are for. Life is far too short to be worried about what some random fool on the internet or in a video game says or does. If getting upset over some nameless, faceless tool in a video game not liking you is the kind of thing that concerns you or gets you upset, I don't know what to tell you. Don't let these little things bother you. It may be difficult and may take effort, but you're the one who has to do it.

Of course it is. I cannot help it if my viewpoint differs from yours. Differing from your opinion does not make me an internet troll. All I offered was some simple advice. Up to you if you want to try it or not or if it works for you or not.

I never suggested not letting others get to you was in any way an absolute truth for everyone. It was simple advice that works for me. It's also true for just about everyone I know as well. So yes, it is true - if you let other people bother you, they will.

Love the idea of this thread! 😀 I could definitely use some help designing a costume for my next alt. I'm planning on rolling him as a Street Justice scrapper. Secondary will either be SR or NIN. He is a brilliant design engineer in "real life", so I'm thinking tech-based body armor suit of some kind. In my head I picture him as having a Space Ghost-ish type mask/cowland body armor along the lines of the Nolan/Bale Batman - something along these lines. I was trying different variations to try and get a trio of darker tones (black/grey/dark blue or dark red) mixed together but couldn't get one that I liked. Haven't decided if he will have a cape or not yet. Perhaps one of you talented folk can help design something? Appreciate any help! Thanks 😀

Oh I've no doubt it is being done here. I just thought it interesting that the old Paragon Devs tried to claim it wasn't possible. Unless I am remembering wrong, which is totally possible.

Perhaps a bit of an out in left field idea here - The ability to have certain things like costume or base textures crowd sourced. Provide a template and required file type specs etc. and let players design them. Post them here for HC crew to review and they can pull what they approve and add it to the game. Can even make some badges for this - like "Fashionista" or something for having several of your costume templates added to the game. No idea what is actually involved to add texture maps into the game, however crowdsourcing can spread the "art" load out a bit.

Maybe it's just me but I seem to recall when the game was live that the Paragon Studios devs swore up and down that seeding the market wasn't possible.

This happens with certain objects that I have noticed. Try flipping it 180 degrees. Some objects won't lay flat unless you rotate them onto the opposite side. Yes.

I'm wondering if something like creating costume textures can be crowdsourced? They can be posted here and then the HC folk can pick and choose which ones to add to the game. Fairly certain that texture maps have a standard template that could be used to start.

Yup. NPCs with holds/stuns/immobs don't really need to be in melee range either. Flight isn't the "combat immunity" that some make it out to be. Not saying this is what you were suggesting.
