  1. The -DEF debuff/crash on Rage is gutting this set to the point of taking away choice because the 20% -DEF debuff simply destroys Defense based sets. If you MUST have something in there, some suggestions/alternatives: Increase the recharge length so it cannot be stacked Make it a "standard" click Build-Up Increase the -END drop These would be preferable to gutting defense when it drops ... (which Rage provides no DEF buff to begin with).
  2. The Arch Nemesis system in CO is a letdown to be honest. It sounds great on paper, but in reality it suffers from a lot of issues. Basically, you can design what your Arch Nemesis looks like - that's about it. You cannot select how they act, what they say and so forth. You have far, far, FAR more expressive control over this in the Mission Architect here in CoX. There is no comparison IMO.
  3. No thank you. If you want this, use the available tools to delete your character upon death.
  4. No thank you. Bad enough you have people logging out during Numina TFs after the first couple of missions, then suddenly re-appearing when the final mission is up due to fictional "computer or internet issues."
  5. "By the point of" being the key there - what about before? Not every character is post 50 Incarnates. Anyway, just my opinion. Feel free to disagree.
  6. Archery ALL Resist based sets - NIN/SR/Shields with DO enhancements far and away outshines INV with SOs in my experience in terms of survivability Empathy - completely outshined by KIN ACROSS THE BOARD Accuracy and END costs need to be addressed. They are both utterly pitiful early game.
  7. TBH the more I read about this, the more I believe that was exactly the intent - to ruin SS the same way they (meaning the Castle/original devs - not HC folk) did Regen.
  8. If by "bug fix" you mean "totally useless, horrible design choice that ruins the Super Strength set for defense based characters" then yes, I would agree. There are any number of directions this could have been taken - Make it non-stackable Increase the recharge length so it cannot be made perma Covert it into a Build-Up click Etc. Etc. The -DEF debuff totally destroys using SS with defense based sets. Instead of adding more choice and customization (eg. fun), this change is taking choices away in my opinion. Not worth the time investment to level a SS character using Shields or SR or whatever defense based set, grinding for IOs, Incarnates powers and such when the set includes a nonsensical debuff that essentially guts all of that effort. Sorry, but no thank you.
  9. UPDATE: So it looks like this issue resolved itself as when I logged in last night, the second entrance was gone. However, during editing it became duplicated again. Looks to be happening when you move the entrance in and out of the entrance room a few times to a different room.
  10. How difficult is it to add more styles to the editor? Would be fantastic to have floor/wall/ceiling texture sets for; Office buildings Ships (like the tankers from Striga missions or the destroyer interior from Marchands arc) Tech Lab (also from Praetorian arc) Stained Glass Concrete like the Vanguard base in RWZ Wood paneling Different varieties of stone for cave interiors Supermarket
  11. Removing the -DEF debuff on Rage would make the set better. It is making SS totally useless on sets that rely on defense.
  12. Yeah, I get that... as I said, it doesn't provide a +DEF buff. It doesn't make sense that it would now come with a -DEF debuff. That makes using it on tanks/brutes with defense based sets useless. It's a stupid change that needs to be removed. The end drop and -DMG debuff are enough.
  13. Not sure how, but I now have 2 secret entrances, each in a different room. If I try to move one to the entrance room, it shows as moving but still exists in the second room. Now I can't remove the second room because it says it contains items that can't be sold. Anyone see this issue before? If so, how do I clear it? Is there a /slash command to just reset the base back to zero?
  14. All of the interiors - walls, floors, ceilings etc. - from the Nova Praetoria arcs like those from Provost Marchand. We have the Holographic tech screens from it - would love to see the rest of it.
  15. I don't get the reasoning behind the -DEF Debuff. This makes it a pointless ability for DEF based sets as you're essentially cutting your own throat by using it in prolonged engagements and endgame content. Rage doesn't apply a DEF bonus - it's not Elude... why give it a -DEF debuff? Silly.
  16. Possible for the MA powerset get access to the Storm Kick animation from Martial Combat and vice versa? Just a thought as personally I like the animation from Martial Combat better.
  17. Instant Healing being a toggle is never what overpowered Regen IMO. Stuff like being able to stack Dull Pain and being able to build (pre-ED) where a Regen scrapper could tank Hamidon with little support was. We had a Spines/Regen scrapper (who the name escapes me right now but perhaps someone will remember it) that used to tank Hami for us on Triumph. However, building to be able to tank Hami gimped the DPS to the point of being useless, so there was a trade off there. Again, this was also pre-ED - everyone's favorite update. Regen always had (and still does have) its drawbacks - poor Alpha Strike mitigation (without MoG) and little to no -regen -heal debuffs. I had wondered whether IH should have been kept as a toggle, but work something along the lines of Tough Hide or Phalanx Fighting where the regen %was based off the number of enemies in melee range instead of a flat X% regeneration. Not sure of what would make this set better.... my main back in the day was MA/Regen, but I have since re-rolled her as MA/Nin or MA/SR. Regen is just too bland now IMO.
  18. The addition of NPCs to bases is fantastic! Truly brings them to life and it a great feature. Question - would it be possible for us to design our own NPCs that we can then add to the base? Sort of like how we can create our custom NPCs in the Mission Architect. Just a thought/suggestion.
  19. Remade my main (my namesake) - MA/Regen and she is my first to get to 50. Don't think I will futz with Incarnate stuff on her anytime soon. Also re-rolled Jade Star who was an EMP/Rad Blast defender to a Fire/Energy blaster - much more fun to play :)
  20. I also believe it was filed out of necessity on the part of Marvel - they need to have documented evidence of "vigorously defending" their copyrights and trademarks, which is a component of trademark and intellectual property law. ALL superhero characters are derivative of one another in some manner. All of them. Marvel and DC are notorious for copying one another. Everyone seems to gloss over the fact that even after the lawsuit, people could still happily create all their Superman and Wolverine clones to their hearts content in the game. Question I always ask is - how does someone having a Superman clone prevent you from playing and enjoying the game? And no, the game isn't going to get shut down immediately if someone has one.
  21. Very cool @TheBizi!!
  22. Never understood this "don't infringe thing" ... when you were a kid and tied a red sheet around your shoulders to run around and pretend to fly, were you being your own original hero or did you want to be the Kryptonian hero you fell in love with? Homages are a very, very good thing. They keep the interest alive, and I personally do not begrudge anyone from wanting to play as their favorite character if that is what they want to do. You can roll a claws/regen scrapper and name it whatever you like, you're still a ripoff of Wolverine or X-23. Let people have their own fun and you have yours. Just my 2 inf.
  23. Ok I found it. There is a specific option for no ceiling/sky in the high ceilings styles. Thank you!
  24. Yes, I have the ceiling at maximum height. Floor is at minimum as well.
