Summer's Over - A Halloween Fire Farm (page 5 version)
Ghost replied to Troo's topic in General Discussion
Ran this, and left you some feedback. Very enjoyable, but waaay too short -
I don’t remember cpu specs, but it shouldn’t be much - this is an old game after all. Heres a link to get you started. You will download the installer, which will then be used to initially download the game, and start it up anytime you want to play. https://forums.homecomingservers.com/forum/53-getting-started/ and welcome! Hope you enjoy!

So, tell me what my bias is. Surely you've actually read the posts you've downvoted. I know you couldn't possibly just be a troll. I mean, you always add so much to the discussions around here. So tell me what are my thoughts on farming influence.
-
It does make more. However, playing the market relies on others. If there are no others, there is no market. So there is no guarantee like there is with farming.
-
Nope. Wrong (as is usual with you) Show me a guarantee that whatever you list will immediately sell.
-
Thats what I was asking - which is why I said that I was confused
-
Run your emp defender through a farm run, and then your farmer through a +4x8 Carnie radio In all seriousness, Im confused now. Are you saying running through a fire farm for a set time period (say 30 minutes) will yield the same xp/infl as running through missions for the same time period (30 minutes)?
-
Let me ask you and anyone else wanting this data - will it change anything? or will it just add more fuel for the people deadest against farming?
-
Don’t take me wrong. I’m just messing with you. I don’t care either way about farming. You wanna farm? Go ahead. There’s like 4 people on here who seem to care, so is it really worth arguing about? For my side by side comparison. I made 1.47mill per minute in the tunnel farm. I ran an ITF with the exact same farming toon, and died spectacularly before making anything of any significance.
-
I want some data. ok, here’s some data. No! I want more data Sorry, but that’s funny to me
-
It’s weird. Seems players have focused on what they don’t like, and perceive it as the devs way to get rid of them. There are far easier ways to get rid of farmers/soloists/RPers than to make small changes over several years.

"Not my bud" - no, of course you aren't literally. Its a term commonly used where I'm from to mean "friend" or "buddy", as opposed to "doofus" or "idiot" (not calling you either one) . Sorry if it means something else where you're from. A. Nope. Never done any of that. I like to play the game with other people. I don't speed through missions/TFs, and don't care about team makeup when putting together PUGs. I just want to play. I'm not saying that people haven't been kicked for the reasons you've mentioned. I'm just saying its never happened to me, to a team I've been on, or to anyone I know. Still don't think it happening once or twice is enough to make me stop playing a game I enjoy. B. Yeah, No. If its in local, take three steps in either direction. I do remember it in LFG, way back during the last presidential election. Rather than quit, I simply put those people on ignore for a few weeks. Once again, not going to let a few bad seeds ruin a game I enjoy. C. While it may be big to them, its still small a small inconvenience. I stand by what I said. There are people on here who try to dictate how others play. Whether it be the "no AE/farming group" or the "force PvP on everyone crowd". Is it honestly any different than what you're saying? You prefer a playstyle, and don't want it to change. Others enjoy a differing style, and want it to change. Still sounds like two different styles trying to impose what they want on others People enjoy how they play, and they think other will enjoy it to. Its only natural. Nothing wrong with disagreeing on here. I disagree with a lot. I just dont take it personally, and forget all about it once I log into the game 🙂
-
Sorry bud, But if they quit because A. They didn't want to stop coming to the forums like 90% of the player base doesn't B. They didnt want to remove general chat C. They were inconvenienced in a small way Tells me they no longer enjoyed the game and wanted to leave. The excuses given were just that, excuses.
-
It’s pointless to try and explain anything to him.
-
Childishness from the over 40 crowd? I refuse to believe it!
-
It was a joke. Please don’t add me to ignore. Pleeeaaaase. I sorry.
-
Now I understand why Lumi thinks the player base is shrinking. It’s actually not, he just ignores faster than new players can join 🙂
-
Guess I just take what people say at face value.
-
I’ve suggested this somewhere before - make AE it’s own instance. In other words, when inside, your chat (regardless of channel) is only visible inside AE. Also, make it so you can only invite players already inside AE. I think if people saw less “sitter looking for farm”, they would eventually forget all about farmers. Oit of curiosity, why are people suddenly throwing around the “inner circle” conspiracy? I’ve seen it brought up in a few different threads. Is that the only explanation people can come up with for differing opinions, or is there actual evidence of this?
-
It would be a flawed experiment. You would need an intense hatred of farming/AE to change servers. People hate it, but not that much. The test is like to see would be locking in a choice for 1 week of game time. You can either AE/Farm or run TFs/missions only - no rewards, regardless of choice. Just to be curious what everyone would choose if there was no incentive either way.

You click on them, and the click “add note”. Their global will show up. If the say something in chat, you can click their name and an option for “get global name” will appear.
