I stick with SO’s until 50. Then go with IOs

Why is it that few people seem to read the entire post?
Ghost replied to Diantane's topic in General Discussion
Write shorter posts. People don’t come on here in search of the next great novel - so don’t try to give it to them. -
I don’t know. Yes there are cheesy Halloween, but I don’t think that’s what people expect when it comes to horror. Unless they are watching some low budget B-Grade horror movie. With Christmas, I really think it’s expected. Just the basic premise behind Christmas movies have no choice - someone lost someone/something, and the magic of Christmas helps them rediscover it. I think you’re right about valentines, but is there really that many releases every year? Maybe there is and I just haven’t noticed. Christmas time basically runs from Thanksgiving to Christmas, so there’s plenty of time to release movies. Valentines is really looked at as that one day.

Nothing wrong with a good Hallmark Christmas movie - I own a few on DVD 🙂 Thats the point though. Christmas movies are the only genre that you expect to be cheesy, and you love them for it. Sure, there’s a few exceptions - but the majority are dripping with cheese. Maybe the mistake was giving Red One a theatrical release. But there have been plenty of other cheesy Christmas movies released in theaters. I think people see “The Rock” and are expecting something he rarely delivers - a great movie.

I had no idea there were other rules for this. I just thought you had to fight your way to 50 only using brawl.

Thanks for the reply. It’s weird how different players have different perceptions of the same power. I tried Kinetic Melee, and it was painfully slow too me. I don’t feel that with staff. I also don’t feel that I’m not contributing to damage. Admittedly I’ve never tried staff on a tank or brute, so I might feel differently about damage with them. My favorite TF is the ITF, and I’ve never had an issue taking down one of the Minotaurs when I’ve found myself alone. we must be looking at things differently. Oh well. I’m sure there are powers or toons I hate that others on here love.
-
So by that standard, should all dps be the exact on scrappers, regardless of powers? Dorsnt that go back to bring a “number cruncher” issue? To me, pure crap means unplayable to everyone. It is playable to the average player. The only people who deem it unplayable are those that need every last ounce of damage on every strike - correct? I get it. High end elites and speed runners will nitpick the DPS, and need everything they can get. So for them, it’s no good. For those of us that enjoy playing without worrying if it’s doing Maxx plus super damage on every shot - I don’t see a problem.
-
Yeah, but in what way? I enjoy playing it, but I am also not the person who stares incessantly at the stats. If a power works, and is enjoyable - that’s enough for me. Is it missing something? does it lag behind other set when it comes to DPS? If so, how far behind?
-
I hear this complaint from time to time, and I’m guessing it’s about number crunching? I love playing my staff/WP scrapper - probably my 2nd favorite toon.
-
We already have that. Im sure someone will tel you how to access, because I’m drawing a blank right now.

For some reason people are expecting a masterpiece, from a Christmas comedy starring The Rock. I imagine these same people happily sit down and smile every year as they watch whatever new Hallmark Christmas movie is released.
-
A YouTuber I watch was saying they’ve reshot so much, that they basically can pick and choose scenes to make a couple different movies. There is no way they make a dime off this. May be smarter to can it like WB did with Batwoman.
-
If the leader says “turn it off”, you turn it off. If the leader says “shut up, they can use it”, then shut up. They don’t have to have a reason for their instructions, because they are the leader. The person you agreed to follow into battle. Dont like it? Leave and start your own team.

I haven’t seen anything in this yet, but I seem to recall a couple years ago Disney going all in-house with test screenings. which of course can lead to bias (like what happened with Eternals). If that’s what happened here, that makes it even more concerning how bad this mess could be.
-
Geez. Reports are saying that the most recent test screening report is saying this movie is still a mess. 3 full reshoots. It’s time to just release this on D+ and hope no one notices.
-
So once cast, if you get within 60ft it affects you?
-
Okay, time for a serious question. When group fly is activated, does it only affect teammates within a certain distance of the user? Or everyone, regardless of map location?
-
Then we in the same boat. I purposely invite MMs with group fly to my TFs just so I can kick them. Much faster to kick than to visit null.
-
-
Oh no. How DARE there be any type of possible challenge in this game!
-
I went to Null and opted back into group fly, just so I know if someone is using it and I can kick them from my team 😈😈😈 #banMMs
-
That’s the only place I play knowing my luck, I’ll probably end up on a team with one tonight
-
Like I said though. I run on PUG teams/TFs all the time. I can’t remember the last time I saw someone with Group Fly. Maybe I’m lucky. or (channeling inner conspiracy theorist) it’s the same couple of people starting these threads 🤨
-
You know what become comical about these “Group Fly” threads?? There’s more of them than actual players using it. Maybe it’s a common thing on MSRs, but I don’t remember that last time I saw anyone use it on a team…..and that’s all I do is PUG team.

How To Train Your Dragon - Live action
Ghost replied to Techwright's topic in Comic, Hero & Villain Culture
It’s because Hollywood is struggling. So they try to find ways to tap into what made them money in the past. Sequels, prequels, remakes, reimaginings, bringing back RDJ I just wish the crash and burn would hurry up, so a new crop of studio heads, writers and directors could step up and be given a chance.
