I get why some people don’t like it. I’m in the middle on it. The action has a very comic book feel to it, which I like. However, this is a Superman movie. I want to see Superman. Not Green Lantern. Not Hawkgirl. Not Krypto. Not Mr Terrific. Not Metamorpho. Some of those characters the GA won’t even know, so instead of spending the entire run time on a Superman story and world building, they will have to spend time on explaining who the hell these other heroes are. Where they came from and why they are here. Lets not forget character building for whatever villains they also cram into this.

Getting to level 2 is a huuuge problem for many people! Luckily for those people……Diantane has created a guide!

Finally sat down to watch. I think the biggest thing the did wrong was releasing it in theaters. Entertaining as a streaming movie, just not quite good enough to pay money to watch. IMO it’s on par with other streaming Christmas movies. While watching, I couldn’t help but feel that it was originally intended to be a 3d computer animated movie - like Authurs Christmas. If they went that route, I think it would have been much better received. It was entertaining. Lots of good lore and mindless cartoon violence. I think if you can watch without taking it seriously (like all Christmas movies), you’ll enjoy it.

Thanks for taking the time to better explain the idea @Oklahoman I think just being able to type your own message could lead to issues. Other than that, I wouldnt be upset if they implemented something like this.

Just to be clear - I wasn’t saying you did any of the things I listed. Just that those are all things people have at one time or another classified as “toxic behavior” on these forums, to illustrate the ridiculousness of some peoples claims. If someone is truly toxic, I’m confident that the mods deal with them. If it’s one or two posts that may be misunderstood or taken out of context - that’s not being toxic, nor should anyone be banned.

If people were banned for “perceived toxic” behavior, some of the things they would be banned for….. - giving a thumbs down - not agreeing with a suggestion - playing a power wrong - picking a wrong power - slotting a power wrong - playing the wrong AT - having an opinion about an AT they don’t play

Yes, I don’t understand the purpose of the card. When I first started reading it, I thought it would like an instant “call me if you need help” card. Something that when invoked, would automatically put you on their team (if you were online). But then….it wasn’t. Okie is a great member of the community, and I am certainly very grateful for his contributions…..but a strange and confusing idea is still a strange and confusing idea.

Again, why? I am honestly really confused by this whole suggestion.

But why? Wouldn’t people start annoying you for your card? Isnt this something that could be profited off of in the future?

sorry, guess I misunderstood this part.

But that is the process Make requests here on the forums, of changes you’d like to see happen. Sometimes they get implemented, a lot of times they don’t. If you just look through the sheer volume of requests, hopefully you will understand why they can’t all be made.

Wouldn’t surprise me at all ”hey, I came up with this great action set piece. Do you think you could write a movie around it?” Actually reminds me of the first Friday The 13th movie. The producer (Sean Cunningham) tells a ridiculous story where he had a title, poster and tagline (that he actually ran in newspapers) and said that if he just had a movie to go with it, he knew that he would make money.

That’s exactly what it is. We are playing on THEIR version of the game.

Sometimes directors do it just for the paycheck, or to fulfill a contractual obligation. Other times, they may have just gotten lucky in the past.

So, adding in something for every person that ever played/plays that passes away, won’t also become just a blur?
