Its the same scenario if you design it that way around maneuvers. You design thing around hasten too, because hasten without global recharge to make it Perma isnt anything spectacular. Either way you have to build for it whether solo or on team, an all SG team designed around maneuvers is the same thing. Not to mention defense soft caps scale the closer you get to 45% so maneuvers is a bit more than meets the eye if you are at say 39% already.

So do set bonuses, so do incarnate powers. But you have to give up something in each aspect to make another stronger. You could be an indestructable brick and never do anything with recharge. If thats what you want to do. Its just a popular choice thats all. Doesnt make the game less fun or diseased with imbalance.

Well I've read more than one post that may not have said that directly but that is the direction they were heading about it. There is an increasing amount of nerf herding here on the forums lately. None of what is being discussed on any of those threads has or will break the game. I've never once had anyone leave a team because the use of hasten pissed them off.

But is it really must have/requirement or what we have grown accustomed to since IO sets targeting as close to perma as we can get? Maybe subconsciously thinking we have to have the recharge? I'll five you a good example, on live I had perma hasten on everything I could, but on homecoming I started targeting for capped resistance and soft capped defense at the sacrifice of perma hasten and recharge in general. I was almost nervous at first slotting that way but in the end I was stronger sacraficing the recharge for the resistance and defense. So I definately wouldnt call it a must have. I would argue that hasten isnt a requirement but rather a power thats good enough to want on the majority of builds.

I'm still not understanding the over arching issue here to suggest such changes that would totally change the game for a ton of people both good and bad - granted, but it seems like a lot of work to change something a lot of people like. hasten pre IO was probably not used the same way it is now because you can perma it now with up sets and global recharge and incarnate content. Pre IOs I still always took hasten because I liked it, I didnt have to but wanted to because its a cool power. I dunno I dont live or die by recharge honestly but I like hasten the way it is. I'm going back and forth in my mind here because it is an intriguing change, but I'm not sure its necessary.

Some fun new things we have going on. 1. Dueling task forces: we try hard to ensure anyone that wants to participate doesn't get left out. So when a planned task force gets full we split teams and try to fill up both, usually both are full in a few min, and any pickup we get has joined by the end of the task Force. We make it fun to compete to see who gets to the finish line first. 2. Mastermind Mondays: kicks off today actually, it's a gold side lowbie mastermind team/teams enjoying the gold side storylines. 3. Scrapper Sundays: a blue side movie scrapper team/teams enjoying the blue side storylines. 4. Ultimate farming, if you need fast levels we have several good experienced AE builds that can get you were you need to be pretty fast. 5. Auction House Marketing: several experienced marketeers than can assist you in gaining influence. 6. Incarnate Trials: we are very close to being able to run all SG on these at any given time, usually only need a few pickup. If you are looking for a fun, laid back, no stress home, come give us a look. Send a global to @Infinitum in game or message me on here and I will get you hooked up.

I think I'm going to let this go now cause you are missing my point. In fact I'm not sure if I even remember what my point is anymore. -

Its not irrelevant. Emotions and opinions matter, thats all I'm saying. Figuring out motives matter, end results matter. -

Are you talking herding around a corner or just gathering/clustering as you go? thats a crazy big improvment.
