  1. So you mean the proposed modeling of stone melee after Psi isn't acceptable? :-)
  2. Haha thats good - so fitting.
  3. Come on now - don't you know better - talking about nerfing Scrappers is like making fun of Chuck Norris. I really wouldn't want to be anywhere near you right now.
  4. Its fantastic on all 4 Ate, however its a tad better on stalkers because the positional defense numbers can be built to the sweet spot, and for offense you get two huge ST fast attacks in AS and Fast ET - which often gets double EF. TF also is a heavy hitter for ST. Where it gets interesting for stalkers Is the shield charge power crash aoe output. PC is a solid aoe for the stalker and hits hard too. It just seems to work out best for the stalker - but there's no wrong choice it's good on them all.
  5. Well either way - I owe him a thanks - his stuff steered me in the right direction back then also.
  6. Instead of my yelling NOOORM. we yell. MYYYRM. Let's see how many are too young to remember that. lol
  7. Well the main thing I'm saying is if you are in the moment you really arent thinking ok its my turn to judgement - gameplay normally isnt refined to the point its as clockwork as every 12 seconds. I literally never see that - and I play every night with a variety of people I believe is a fair representation of whats out there. Again - not saying such planning doesn't take place - but I believe it's the exception not the rule. Offer still stands also. :-)
  8. Are we still talking about Hami here?
  9. In actual gameplay it rarelynplays out that way though. I play with regulars and I play with pugs - literally every night and a judgement isn't going off literally every 12 seconds. Nor do they routinely wipe the whole spawn. I agree that this likely does happen - but I would wager its likely more of an issue with elite teams that frequent speed runs - and if thats the case more power to them. I tend to go the radial side anyway which is more control related - and more fun for me rather than damage. I see what you are saying, but I feel like you feel burned by gameplay like that - and as a norm Its just not the case on a routine basis. Having said that - if you want a true team play experience with good people that like to cut up and have fun - nightly I will extend a standing invite to join us. lol you can ask GB - some times we run fast but there are times.... Times.... Where we get in a lot of trouble. lol. And I love it honestly. Damn Crimson Prototype the other night ate my lunch - got 6 debt badges in 30 min on an elite toon - it just went really sideways really fast. Anyway look me up if you would like @Infinitum is my global.
  10. But then there wouldn't have been anything new - and in a pay game especially - why pay for stagnation? I imagine they envisioned being around longer to build on the incarnate system - but even now I don't see it as a problem as much as stagnation - the been there done that routine. So I imagine new characters to relive it but as the new characters story. Incarnates don't work below 45 - I would guess 75% of the game is below 45 - so I don't see it as an issue - judgements sure arent wiping content for my teams at the difficulty levels I normally run at. As far as parameters are concerned - high level testing IMO should be no inspirations or outside buffs or anything that isn't constant or static. What should be included IMO - any thing that can fit the framework of your build - IOs, passive accolade powers that perma boost a stat, any perma incarnate stat - Alpha, degenerative, hybrids passive boost. This is for high level testing - how far you can survive - or how fast you can kill type of testing.
  11. If I'm ranking the Brute secondaries, it would be something like this. Stone Invul EA Shield SR Dark Willpower Elec Rad Fire Regen Bio is somewhere in there - not a fan - not qualified to rank it objectively. Also Situationally - any of #2-5 are so close any of them could inhabit any of those spots based on play style and slotting. 6-9 are also close together and really not far from 2-5 but occassional situations make some situations slightly more difficult. 10 - Fire is largely dependant on your ability to mitigate by kill speed. 11. Regen - can be good but has issues that places it last - fix those issues it could be one of the best also. I have builds for most of these if anyone wanted them.
  12. Yeah it was scientific how he came to those conclusions also - I was the guinea pig he used. lol. I died so many times in the infernal mission and ITF just figuring out how the various clicks interacted I had all the debt badges before the night was out back then. Why did I put myself through it? - because on paper and the concept Regen is something I want, but it isnt something I want to change the core play style on - I just want it allowed on the monkeybars also. I really came to appreciate the play style more after that night and actually learned a few tricks to survive better - and could probably make it work pretty easily with creative slotting and pool power choices to 70% of content and random incidents in the game - but rhe fact remains it severely lags behind every other set in terms of baseline survivability. I love the play style though - it's unique - which is why I wanted the EM Regen Brute in the first place. Whatever numbers Bopper came up with preserved the play style in theory but also would be the base regen number that would allow you to use that metric and build on it to level its capability of surviving those brutal missions like the ITF. I would play it for sure. Literally nobody is advocating to change how it plays - only make it stronger.
  13. I was about to write this pretty much word for word as I scrolled through, but yeah I will just tip my hat to you at this point.
  14. No you cant, not in all circumstances.
  15. That - is incorrect - ice armor is > than rad when facing just about any content - especially debuffers. Ice armors biggest issue is that you get aaaalll this ice protection that serves no purpose - that could be distributed to better slows or - dmg or some other feature like that to improve the set - but ice armor doesnt need any help its at least #5 for me - maybe even #4.
  16. When I'm facing Lord Recluse with ANY of my tankers or brutes - I have a static survival line I know I will not need inspirations to survive. Things get sideways occasionally - say for instance - run out of useful inspirations - oops i need a purple now - darn it a break free drops - faceplant. Inspiration use cant be a determining factor when calculating the relative performance of any feature, mechanic, set or AT for that reason - it will always be a variable.
  17. Fully IOd out my experiences is the opposite - Willpower is actually more of a set it and forget it vs the Cims than Bio.
  18. There is a difference between tough, and borderline impossible though - for instance I can make literally every other set doable against the Cims and other debuffer types - even some of those dont measure up to my standards of survivability - but regen is subpar compared to all of the other tests I have ran on the other armor types - and ive ran them all - tested them all for viability against the most extreme odds. While some sets come across a little to weak - even with bio I can out kill the incoming dmg - I'm not a fan of bio. Sets like Invul, Dark, SR, willpower, shield, ice, EA, Ninjitsu, stone, rad, elec - all of them have a fighting chance to take on multiple spawns without too much hassle - and some of them can just ait there - not attacking and survive indefinately - even fire can be built to survive this - and its probably one of the weakest sets - but still better than regen - that just sitting there waiting for willpower to steal its lunch money again. The argument was never that regen isn't usable - its just not comparable to any other armor set out there in terms of ease of usr and performance - its left in the dust. I would never play one because I know better and easier exists that provides a similar function - I can pretend really good willpower is my regeneration based superhero - or even bio for that matter.
  19. You don't want to see what incarnate debuffers or cimmerora will do to it then. I managed to solo infernal with it and thought I had won. Then I tried the ITF, and realized what prison I was in and where my rank was.
  20. What is this die thing of which you speak?
  21. Most of my melee builds have FA on it, I like it.
  22. Yeah my strongest regen build was similar to that - I tried the resist route first and almost duplicated the figures I had for my willpower build with resists and regen, but it was horrible - like GB said other debuffs still nuke regen far worse to where its a shrug for willpower under similar circumstances. So I the tried defense - it gives you a head start and fighting chance, but even running against someone with 1 leg - against debuffers - the one legged man will win.
