  1. Mace is actually one of the best sets to play. ... But I don't like it... Some days I have to fight hating myself for that reason.... But I manage to pull through. lol
  2. Well it's going to sound weird - because it's popular - but mine is Elec/mace. I'm just not a fan of mace - I know it's good in the right hands but I benched that sucker shortly after hitting 50. I like the newer TW better than the OP pre i27 update, but still not a huge fan.
  3. That is filet mignon sir.
  4. lol I view mine as a super team constantly adding new, cool members - that for some odd reason can never be in the same spot at the same time.
  5. Well there was the phone booth thing he always did. That's how I view armor retoggling.
  6. They are probably just polishing up the combo mechanic they added to stone melee. **runs away really fast** **peeks back inside** I'm kidding btw. **evil grin**
  7. Good job! And I agree.
  8. All im saying is I remember much better number crunchers than me saying that back then. The possibility exists - but either way the brute gets close to the scrapper numbers situationally occasionally exceeding it, and isnt too far off the average either depending on which set you look at.
  9. It isnt False its dependent on chance and the scrapper regularly getting critical hits to surpass a brute. Before the tanker changes the brute was ahead of blasters and acrappers in terms of dmg potential - thats why its cap was lowered from 775? To 700 I think. Then the talk was with reliable criticals the scrapper is king of melee dmg. But it is still possible for a brute to occasionally surpass a scrapper if it doesnt reliably crit. I guess thats dependent on build and luck.
  10. Decapitations maybe. lol
  11. Snicker. This argument has been around since the dead Sea got sick - even live forums. In this game especially now teams don't need any one AT or combination of ATs.
  12. False - it's not that blatant. Near scrapper dmg - surpassingit occasionally - is still good - and it's basically putting out that dmg with tanker mitigation caps. It's role is to be that particular badass.
  13. Yeah both can be made to survive any content in the game effortlessly. It's really how you want to play that defines them. Hell for that matter that's pretty much this game in a nutshell.
  14. Only the DR Q is horribly long - TF like the Sarah Moore I think are fun and engaging with really tough enemies. You are right to a point though the shard could use a touch up and edge put to it.
  15. Well I dont think so with this line of thinking either.... Plus the ITF isn't exactly the toughest content anyway so if you base your fun on this particular content being difficult maybe you should try pandoras box or the shard task forces at max level. The vengeance alone pushes my tankers into melee core sometimes.
  16. By making the brute more survivable at the expense of damage? If anything that proves my point.
  17. I agree with that 100% and that's actually how I ran my tests.
  18. You are but you still have vastly more dmg potential - even building to silly levels like that - which you really don't have to do under 99% of the circumstances the game can throw at it.
  19. My EM Invul Brute beat my Invul EM tanker in the brutal mission simulator by 7 min. And it was weaker but still survived relatively easy utilizing dull pain more often - but that's what its there for and it still won handily. At the end of the day thoe sacrifices are null because the brute wins either way - greater dmg potential. Similar survivability.
  20. Without Incarnates no, but... With Incarnates... Yes they can - melee core says hello as well as barrier. Rotating those can allow you to basically remain at every cap - sometimes even higher than tankers that arent running the same incarnate tricks. Even when a hybrid like assault isnt taken - the brute still beats the tanker on dmg output. I do it all the time.
  21. On the same token brute dmg cap is much higher - one that a tanker can never reach - the brute can reach tanker levels of survivability.
  22. My pleasure! Thanks for the kind words and glad you enjoy them!
  23. They really don't - in practice what They gained is convenience that made them more fun - in reality they are still the slowest out of the 4 by every measurable test. i would still play them either way but IMO they didn't gain enough to give up any thing because they were too low to begin with.
  24. No the point is you can't compare the results of a claws SR scrapper to a Shield EM tanker.
