Yeah im running into the same things you are, im going to go the way of assault hybrid and muscle alpha to try to maximize damage output on the bust combo of buildup lightning rod, shield charge and mighty judgement, then top it off with thunderstrike. that should take out most of a mob.

You better believe it 🙂

Thank you Myrmidon, very kind words. Lately we have been working over the weekly task forces thoroughly to gain merits and badges. So anyone looking to join let us know. 🙂

Incarnate Powers for Electric Armor-Titan Weapons
Infinitum replied to Dax Doomslayer's topic in Tanker
tanks now kill minions very fast,, and bosses take a while so thats why i think the double hit would be better because it works no matter what or how many you are hitting. I cant test this on beta because you can just select incarnates now, unless i am missing something but the number in tanks range of attacks dwindles to nothing but bosses fast once the first few aoes hit. I could be wrong, but i think im on the right track. Im almost to incarnate level on a tank im going to take assault on so i will report back once i have the info. -
Incarnate Powers for Electric Armor-Titan Weapons
Infinitum replied to Dax Doomslayer's topic in Tanker
Elec has good end management so thats not a target point for incarnates IMO. Alpha: agility for defense or musculature for damage. Destiny: ageless for recharge - energize is a good heal and you won't need rebirth, however rebirth radial has good regen so it's a viable option as well. Lore: I always go longbow. Interface: I always go degenerative. Judgement: void radial for damage reduction or mighty radial for control. Hybrid: melee core or melee radial either one if you want max mitigation plus the passive regen increase is great. Assault for more damage. Double hit is probably what I would go with on a tank because you will stomp minions out of existence rather swiftly and the won't contribute to the enemy count modifier long enough. -
I went from 1- 41 yesterday in around an hour, will try to hit 50 tonight and stretch its legs in the maria Jenkins arc and weekly task Force.

Focused accuracy, it doesn't miss regularly, trust me. It's one of those things that you don't rely on but does benefit occassionaly, all things being equal as cheap of an investment as it is and the inevitable odd second of down time in the attack chain, throw it out there and see if it sticks. And thanks!

Global To hit and accuracy are high enough to not need anything else slotted for kick to hit, and i use that power in any gap in the attack chain i may have. Its not like thats an expensive one, so may as well have it to chance than not have it at all. thats how i look at it anyway. Works well enough to keep using it from my experience especially with long rechargers like lightning rod and shield charge.

Tanker (Shield Defense - Electric Melee).mxd I just changed a few things, i ran the first build on test and it felt clunky and jacobs ladder was the culprit, so i Swapped a few things around and went with Chain Induction instead, i tested that and its pretty fluid and really awesome feeling. Also i have been running Kick instead of boxing in fighting pool for the +recharge proc. Lastly with incarnates, i think for alpha Musclature Core is the way to go to boost damage, and also on hybrid get both melee core for when you know you will need more mitigation, and the Assault for any other engagement.

The Sheld part i have been Maining since october, so i know for a fact thats solid as a rock. I have an electric melee stalker so im pretty sure i covered your bases on that to, in fact i may roll a tank like this just to see how it does. Hope this helps. Winter lord and winter event stuff. Not sure that would hurt either though with the other layers of protection.

Frostfire is the only one I can think of.
-
Aside from outcasts and hellions maybe trolls who does cold? Crey cryos? They will be dropped before it has a chance to matter. I'm trying to think is there a high level hard target that does cold? Frostfire doesn't count. Maybe something in the tsoo or banished pantheon? Then heal, regen and melee radial will take over. I'll take those odds if it's the only weakness.

Darn right 🙂

Nope, just some trees, because you cant see the forest for them.

Because a flaming or icy or nuclear or arrow barrage or laser beam or machine gun blast hitting one person and it not attracting the 16 other baddies around it then running into the gauntlet without nary a whisper to its allies is much more realistic and unbroken than rushing the map. Gotcha. Then you really aren't trying hard enough. There is content that can still give you that feeling. Not guaranteed every time if you are incarnate out to the gills. But that's not really the games fault once you build your character out of 80 percent of normal content. The I trials and dark Astoria set to max level can still challenge even incarnate - especially low level incarnates. Once I am maxed out on a character I roll another and write a new epic story with them.
-
Thats weird, I hadnt noticed that. I'm taking musculature to try to get closer to brute damage, I tanked recluse last night with it and its rock solid without any incarnates as is. I'm taking melee radial for hybrid to increase defense, and agro as needed.

Radianite - Tanker (Radiation Armor - Radiation Melee).mxd Thats the build i have for mine, its pretty darn unkillable too
-
dang thats nuts, my rad/fire isnt missing a beat, in fact in AEing right now
-
May be the case because honestly if I hadn't just read brutes were having issues here, I wouldn't have seen it in practice. They clump to me and stay till they are ashes.
-
I havent noticed a grouping issue on my Rad Fire Brute, I have leveled up 2 characters to 50 in about 7 hours total (broken up in intervals) this last week too.

Then manage your own agro or learn and build to survive the high level stuff you probably shouldn't be trying to run in the first place. There's no reason with the game as it is today, for anyone to be complaining about difficulty, when... 1. There are multiple difficulty settings - tone it down if you can't handle it. 2. When there is a tank on your team - I mean really under extreme circumstances unless y'all are going straight up tropic thunder should THAT many enemies be getting past the tank and the REST of your team for y'all to not be able to dispatch any threat. 3. As easy as it is to IO out there's no reason they should be hitting you that hard in the first plave unless, again, you are trying to go full on tropic thunder. Not trying to be difficult but as an avid tanker player, that doesn't even take taunt, I regularly play +4/8 and don't walk through a field of death unless someone isn't paying attention. Now.... When I play scrapper, I go full on scrapper lock.... It's the most pure form of chaos. I take no responsibility for what happens in those missions. lol
