Not at all! I just love that scene. If your wild card inherent let's me do the equivalent of cutting a team's brake lines you'll become my new favorite person. If it's something more realistic and not destructive, you're still cool.
It should, but only upon activation. And with such a long recharge it will likely have close to the 90% chance to proc even if you have a ton of recharge slotted in the power.
Always yes to nukes for me. People have already covered the reasons why. You likely won't faceplant, but if you do, debt builds character. Also if you think you're gonna die after nuking, hit self destruct to make it worth it.
I don't have Controller experience, so I have no opinion to offer other than that I love the idea behind this thread and I will be watching it closely.
It might alienate a few vocal people, but there is nothing to suggest that it would somehow alienate a majority of players. You're responding to an extreme opinion.
To an extent I agree, because that would be ideal. But when a product relies on consumers or a community, them liking the product has to be a high priority or the community will eventually whither away.
Costumes contests have always been and always will be about impressing the judges, that's it. Creativity will play a huge factor for most judges, I don't disagree. But the contests themselves are not and never have been about creativity, they are about the opinions of the judges.
Not including costume parts in such locked content is probably the best because that means they could make some of the tasks extremely difficult or a huge grind. If it's simply titles of a special color, I'm onboard if unlocking some of them is inaccessible to most because of the time, luck, or skill involved.
You're wasting your time talking to that person. They've done nothing but belittle you and make some ridiculous armchair psychological assumptions. At this point, with that person, you're just banging your head against the wall.
This is a good point, while I'm for the OP suggestion, how it is unlocked is extremely important. I know you were just giving a random example, but it's something that could very well happen if such gated content isn't well thought out and planned.
The developers are the ones that can put into the game, that's the difference. Some people very well do enjoy player set restrictions, you gave an example and there is one from earlier in the Market section. Some prefer them to be part of the actual game mechanics.
Honestly I just wanted to make the terrible circle jerk joke(I use joke very loosely here), that was the entire point of that tangent for me.
Disagree. Calling out the hidden motivation is all about ego. But since I'm doing it too, does that make it a loop? And since we're talking about stroking, does that make it a circle jerk?
Your proclamation about the OP's hidden agenda is you stroking your ego over your awesome insights. I know because I also do it from time to time. So if you're right about the OP, let's not pretend you're any different.
I didn't imply anything about your post, reread my comment. That was a reply to someone else.
The idea that's it's less selfish is wrong. You're against it because you don't like the idea, that's your preference and that's fine. The fact that more people likely agree with your preference is nothing more than a convenient coincidence.
I think the most fair approach is 95-99% of new items be unlocked from the start. People like you get almost everything you want, people like the OP get a few crumbs. Seems like the best solution to me.
If a person's stance is no because they want everything at all times, well then so be it.
