It's temporary due to the long weekend causing a spike in demand. Prices will go back down, I juts picked up all my rare salvage for less than 470k each.

I'm gonna throw in another vote for DM/SR, but I'm biased as that's what MunkiLord is. It's easy to softcap and hit extreme recharge numbers, and the DDR makes it incredibly tough. It will also be the cheapest build to reach high performance, so if influence is a concern I'd probably say it's your best bet. DM/SD will require more investment, but it has a higher ceiling than SR. AAO is pretty amazing, and can take DM to higher places than SR could. Plus the extra resist and Shield Charge are nice. WP is pretty fantastic too. You're not going to softcap as easily(or at all) compared to SD and SR, but those layered tools are amazing. It's really a great all around set. I haven't looked into it, but DM/Fire sounds very interesting. It won't be as tough as the others obviously, but Soul Drain boosted damage aura and Burn make my mouth water.

I feel like that Beam Rifle/Electric could be something pretty badass.

And once we hit 50 exclusively run Master TF! -
Hit 50 recently and came up with a build, this is version 2. I can get my defenses a little higher, but between all the -to hit and AoE mez, I don't think it's really necessary. S/L/E are all mid 30s and everything else is low 20s. Figure a purple or two can help me when I need them. With the way my build is now, Cardiac Alpha is definitely needed. I'd prefer Musculature for more damage, but that would require changing up quite a bit. Still, I'm open to suggestions to make that possible without sucking end every mob. Few notes, I rarely use Living Shadows and I'm not married to slotting it, just did it for the AoE defense. Stealth is there only to mule for Luck +7.5 Recharge, so I'm open to putting something else there. Any thoughts or suggestions are welcome, currently doing a Patron Arc to unlock Scorpion Shield, so this respec won't be done for a couple days, most likely. Allow for boosting attuned enhancements

Go talk to any trainer and you'll be able to switch your active build. -
A tank isn't required for that part either, including Master runs.
-
I also prefer things to stay as is for the reasons you stated. But I do get dollar signs in my eyes thinking about all the influence to be made if that does happen.
-
Yeah I get why they all qualify, I was just using them as examples to back up what doc_miller was saying. I looked up NFL and FIFA briefly and the NFL was a trade organization so they qualified(though each time, with the exception of the Packers, is considered a for profit business) and FIFA is an association of associations. In reality all four are very much for profit organizations(and SUPER corrupt) and still qualify, so if the world was fair that would mean the HC team shouldn't have any problems(world being fair, HA). Plus they have a habit of abusing trademark and copyright laws, especially during the Olympics and World Cup, so I don't like them. The NFL is bad about it as well, but most of their stupid seems to be focused on trademarking various terms related to the Super Bowl. But this is a tangent I could go on about for hours.

Everlasting Server Pocket D adjustment?

As a former bartender, I would have given pretty much anything to be able to do that in real life. -

This thread has inspired me to create Team Liability, an Energy/Storm Corruptor. Clearly I'm going to slot for extra KB. -
If the change was never made in the first place, I would have had no problem keeping them to only dropping in PvP. But seeing as it's already been changed, I think changing it back would be a terrible mistake. First there would be a huge uproar as those are some of the best IOs, suddenly taking the potential drops away would be seen in a very negative light by a majority of people. Second, it would have a huge impact on the market. There are already some people that have hundreds of them in storage and constantly buy and sell them(like me), and we'd soon be able to charge what we wanted for them. And then you'd have people that as soon as they heard about such a change would spend billions of influence and thousands or merits(again, like me) to get as many as possible to stock up and make massive profit over the next several months. And that would just piss people off too. So in theory I have no problem with such things being separate, but I feel changing it back wouldn't be a practical or satisfactory move for the majority of players. For better or worse, I think that ship has sailed.
-
I'd be all for that if the accolades were updated to be less terrible to acquire. If we want people to earn such things, that's fine. But it's an old legacy way of doing things that I feel should at the very least be updated. And I don't mean to replace the current methods, as I'm sure there are people that do enjoy the current process, but an alternative that is considered fun by a larger number of people. And I agree about Justin, that is the very reason I don't do it. And I agree, this change alone won't make much, if any, difference in PvP or general game population. But few single changes have that sort of impact. It has to start somewhere and be continuously built upon.
-
I believe the NCAA is a non profit and until recently the NFL was a not for profit or something like that, I forget the specific designation. So all kinds of things apparently qualify. Edit: This is pure speculation, but I wouldn't be surprised if FIFA and the IOC fell into one of those categories as well.
-
They do drop in PvE content now. And can be bought from the auction house and merit vendors.
-
The rest of my post addressed that. And others have pointed out many times why such a change would be beneficial.
-
I don't PvP at all, no interest in it whatsoever personally. I feel this is a reasonable request that wouldn't impact me or others that don't PvP, and since the PvP base is consistently shit on by the rest of the players and generally ignored by development teams in the past, I think it's fair that they get some love and attention too. Additionally, having more active and happy players, whether PvE or PvP, is a good thing for the game overall and will benefit everyone in the long run. So many people being against anything and everything PvP is short term thinking, petty, and self centered. The game being more accessible to more people in more ways, is a good thing as it has the potential to grow it, which would keep it around even longer.
-
I didn't accuse you specifically of not liking PvP. I properly qualified my statement.
-
I've listened, and you haven't said anything that has caused me to rethink my previous stance. PvE is already catered to. PvP asking for a little help is reasonable. And almost all those against it are against it simply because they don't like PvP.
-
No, because the PvE crowd has already been catered to by way of those recipes being dropped in PvE content, purchaseable via merit vendor, and via the auction house. So it's already been done. Therefore, it's fair if the PvP crowd gets something too. You asking for even more for even the slightest bone being thrown to PvP is unreasonable.
-
The PvP recipes are already available to get outside of PvP three ways. So your objection is unreasonable since you're asking for more catering than has already been done.
-
Not me. I take the hammer approach so even at -1 all that stacked vengeance makes it slow. Though I realize that's a problem of entirely my own creation.
