I don't know enough about Bio to answer that unfortunately. I've barely played it and looked at it.

Shield is positional defense compared to Invul's typed defense. Shield doesn't have a psi defense hole like Invul, but I really don't think that's a big deal. With shield you can get more DDR, which is nice. But on the extreme ends, I think Invul is likely going to be a bit tougher. Shield will give you more damage because of it's taunt aura and Shield Charge. That's a real basic comparison, but I think it hits most of the big points. I prefer Shield for my tastes, but I have a buddy that love Invul. You can't go wrong either way.

YOU ARE WRONG!!!! Not really, you're cool.

For soloing AVs, Dark Melee is a great choice. Siphon Life is fantastic, especially on a high recharge build. For farming I would go with Spines or Electric Melee. Fire has great ST damage too and decent AoE. TW/Bio will excel at everything, but takes a heavy investment to reach it's potential.

This. If bosses are a factor then Stalker pulls ahead in my opinion. If they aren't, then Scrapper might be the best option. Brutes are great too, but those two nukes are better on Scrappers. For power pools, I'm a fan of fire on Scrappers, I love Fireball.

I don't have a build, but I'd get that last 4% fire defense if you can, it will help a lot. And you can slot a chance for knockdown proc in a few of your AoE attacks with Ragnorok and Avalanche. Not sure how often they go off, but it can help with the runners. And if you haven't already, definitely put Sudden Acceleration KB to KD in Bonfire.

We're not quite there yet. He made a TW/Fire Scrapper and I'm also working on two Blasters in addition to our Time Defenders.. My is currently level 38 and she is awesome on teams! While we haven't teamed up yet, I'm already imagining the possibilities.

Also take Provoke, that's what I did.

I'd give one warning then kick the person.

SD will give you the most damage on Scrappers for the reasons Zumberge mentioned, plus Shield Charge the way Shield Charge summons as a sort of psuedo pet it is significantly better for them as well. So if damage is your primary goal Scrapper is definitely what you want. Brutes will do less damage, but with more HP and higher caps for resist, they will be more survivable. Tanks have better base defense numbers.

Toggles that don't impact the enemy, like Tough and Weave, suppress while you're mezzed instead of detoggling. Something that included damage or some sort of debuff will detoggle.

No I don't think the ITF is particularly difficult, but that's something I just didn't think I'd see a Blaster do. I just think we should take it as a challenge more for extra motivation.

I'm all for this idea!!! But I do disagree about the STF. JSHMOE and I discussed it since we completed it, and we both feel there was a TON of room for improvement. I think we could cut the time in half relatively easily because our LR strategy was terrible and wrong. I'm impressed by the GM soloing. I was under the impression Scrappers could not do this. As a whole, us Scrappers need to raise the bar again. A Blaster recently soloed a +4x8 ITF, maybe a Master run. I realize it's not personal, and I really like Blasters too, but we should see this as an entire AT calling us out. And when we get called out, punching things is the answer.

What's considered a lot of wealth in the game?
MunkiLord replied to Alphabet Soup II's topic in The Market
The downside to this is I had a few hundred bids fill between Wednesday night and Thursday(this is three times more than normal) before I got home from work, so I spent an hour or so crafting, buying, and converting all of them at one time. But when I get home today, I should have 300-400 million profit waiting for me. As much as I love that big number, I don't like spending that much time marketing in one go. So I'll be slowing down a bit. edit: I'm also curious to see if me raising the supply of one enhancement by 35% will have any sort of impact or not. I'm thinking it'll just slow down a few other people from selling for a day or two, and therefore essentially be meaningless. Or if someone will jump in and undercut me and prices fall for a few days. Weekend coming up may prevent that though, as demand seems to spike then. -
This will vary for my Scrapper depending on circumstances and my role on the team. On steamroller teams with lots of AoEs, I don't typically prioritize maxing AAO since travel times between mobs very well might be the biggest hurdle to clear time. If I am the highest damage dealer, I'll generally jump in the mob get AAO going then nuke. If I'm playing pretend tank I'll lead with nukes just for the extra knockdown. If mobs are tightly packed I'll jump back and forth to keep damage buff and then get them to crowd around me. If I'm doing a farm with bosses, AAO is a top priority for me cuz killing them is slow. If I'm running without bosses I'll just hit as many mobs as fast as I can since they die so fast. If course a Kin changes everything if they Fulcrum Shift me to the damage cap.

What's considered a lot of wealth in the game?
MunkiLord replied to Alphabet Soup II's topic in The Market
It takes more initial investment, but I like to put low bids are 30-40 recipes at a time, then 400+ converters at once. When the bids eventually fill, which make take a day or so, I'll craft and convert them all at once. It helps me from stressing too much if one particular enhancement uses a lot of converters, the average amount of converters per enhancement eventually evens out. Then I price them to sell fast. The most effective method for me is moving volume and not profit margin per transaction. -
That's exactly what I did when I tried to start selling them. I'd buy a regular version, slot it and make it superior, then pull it out and post it. Great profit margin on each sale. But they sold really, really slow, so I bailed on that after a week.

Should I be crafting and using low lvl enhancements at 50
MunkiLord replied to Boon's topic in General Discussion
But you can't boost attuned enhancements. So unless there is some way to unattune, they would have to replaced. -

I saw the thread title and immediately clicked on it to talk about attuned enhancements lol -
But this right here is wrong. If it works for a person and they want to share it, so be it. If it's not the most efficient, so be it. Give other options, like you did, and people will choose what they want. But telling someone not to give advice because it doesn't meet your arbitrary and completely subjective standards, that is just ridiculous. Not everybody cares about maximizing DPS or clear times, and in no way is a person obligated to cater their general advice to such situations. And they are also under zero obligation to qualify or state their advice as not optimal. My advice to people is to dismiss such comments and share your thoughts and styles and if other people want to use it, cool. If not, that's cool too. Yes, take comments out of context to prove a point. I repeatedly stated that you should always play the way you want, or the way that is most fun. The discussion was about optimization, however. So, I stand by what I said. When talking about optimization, if you aren't optimizing, or talking about optimizing, what is the point? You told someone not to share their opinion twice because it didn't meet your standards. That is literally what you did. I took nothing out of context.

The specifics of a technique I have no interest in debating, that's whatever to me. But this right here is wrong. If it works for a person and they want to share it, so be it. I just made one of these yesterday so I'll be working on a build myself soon. However, a nephew was born a few minutes ago, so I'll be occupied and away from Pine's most of the weekend. But this is near the top of my todo list as far as CoH goes.
