Doesn't damage dealt decrease on enemies higher level than you? I would think the optimal mobs would be -3 to -5 or so, where you get a damage boost for being higher level, but the enemy still has enough hit points to rack up the counter better. I fear my choice of empathy defender badge toon was shortsighted...

Hey, all. I run a little Greek-themed supergroup on Torchbearer, and I thought I'd make something fun for fans of Greek mythology. "Dr. Aeon and the Wrath of Achilles" is a 5-episode arc for levels 50-54, beginning when Dr. Aeon kidnaps a classics professor from PCU, and travels back to 1137 BCE to intervene in the Trojan War. Beat up Arachnos, river gods, a whole lot of smash/lethal Trojans, Aethiopians, and Amazons, and a bevy of EBs as you forever alter the homework of high school English students reading the Iliad. It's currently in the "Seeking Feedback" phase. (Note: Most of the missions can be soloed, as you rescue Greek hero bosses, which can turn the tide against an EB. The last one has a lot of normal-strength bosses in addition to Aeon, which is why I set the arc for levels 50-54. Hi, I'm working away on a Trojan-War themed time-travel arc, and I've been searching in vain for a good outdoor wilderness map. Back on Live, I remember playing an AE mission with a map like that of Eleusis in the Talos Island zone... green grass, no signs of civilization, no Croatoa forests, just some water, some grass and a couple of rocky hills. Another point of reference would be the War Wall Defender badge mission, or the mission where you have to find all the surface-to-air missiles stolen by the Malta, or the final fight with the Crimson Prototype in Market Crash. But for the life of me, I can't seem to find any outdoor missions that aren't a cityscape or a ship. Does anyone know the name of this particular type of map, or whether it is available at all? Thanks in advance.

One of my characters (the Milk Sheik) has lovely flared pants in a style called Japanese. They go with his Martial Arts 1 Robe pretty well. However, when I tried to replicate this on a female character (Iuchi Kyoko), the Japanese option didn't appear. I had the same style of top (Martial Arts 1) just to make sure there was no incompatibility between top and bottom, and Japanese pants weren't listed. The others were... Chinese, Korean, Camo, etc., but no Japanese. Not sure why this might be. I tried it out on a Huge character and there was an option there as well. Is this a bug, or working as designed?

My stone/rad controller (lvl 19 during the time of the problem) has Boxing, with 1 level 15 acc IO and 1 level 15 damage IO. When I mouse over the power on the enhancement screen, there’s no readout for base damage. While ToTing on a team sidekicked up to 49, I was doing the regular amount of damage with my other powers, in the 90-140 range, but Boxing only did 12 (doubled to 24 with Containment). This was against a Spirit, maybe +2 or so to me. I’m pretty sure that level of damage is a bug: the spirit wasn’t notably resistant to other smashing powers.

Same. Just did this and should have failed — ran out of the building with the manager in tow, but lost him, and there was no mission fail. Went back in, got the manager with no time limit, completed mission. Veles in midair like the OP said.

If I remember right, the winter event includes a Frosty badge. Looking forward to getting that on my scrapper Milk Sheik. Also, wasn’t there an EB of the winter queen who had lots of -recharge?

This happened to me too, about a week ago. I set myself to +0 and tried soloing the Manticore TF, and my level was capped at 33 while the enemies all spawned as 36s. I chugged through it, and got some pretty good, if dangerous XP out of it. All but one of my attempts to reset the level at +0 failed. (For the record, I didn't know if the AVs always spawned as AVs rather than EBs. I gave up when I spotted the +3 AV. I consider my lesson learned, and gave up the TF. But I did ding 35 during the mission, and the TF still kept me at 33 with +3 enemies even though I was solo and therefore leading the TF.)

Noob question -- I've got a 6-slotted AT set and only 1 catalyst. If I make 1 enhancement Superior but leave the rest until I get more catalysts, is it going to mess with my bonuses until I get more Superiors, or do the bonuses "adapt" to the new level? I'm tempted to wait until I can change them all at once, but of course it'd be nice if I didn't have to.

Q: How many regen scrappers does it take to screw in a light bulb? A: Four. One to screw it in, and the other three to sit around complaining that the light bulb was so much better when it was a toggle. Q: Why should you never taunt the monster in Dark Astoria? Okay, that didn’t take long. One request by my son to show him the game and I downloaded it. I’ve got a dual pistols/ice manipulation blaster named Aaron Brr on Indomitable and my son’s toon on Torchbearer. I’m @MilkSheik. Incidentally, does Torchbearer get wiped periodically like the test server used to? I dread explaining to the kiddo that he’s lost progress.

I have my characters on flash drive, and if it makes anyone feel better about fairness, I will use my 50+3 emp defender to fly around the city healing and buffing lowbies left and right. :)

@Athena Nike/Milk Sheik here. Haven't tried installing or logging in yet. I wanted to see if the old crew were around first... and if my saved data from before Armageddon meant I could play my old characters without going through all the grind. I've still got those suckers on flash drive, but I suspect if they haven't implemented that functionality yet, there's a solid reason.
