No, my original post for the first event was correct. The time would be 10:00 AM Pacific, so 1:00 PM for East Coasters. Thanks for questioning that. Sometimes the "reverse brain stem syndrome" kicks in... So that would be 1:00 PM Eastern. Sorry for any confusion (my normal state).

Good times on Everlasting tonight. Three TF teams, two running Citadel and one Cave of Transcendence. Thank you MsA for running CoT and Ronin for running the other Citadel. Hi all, A great event on Excel, two TF teams, Market Crash (lead by Lor) and Moonfire (lead by MsA) and a missions team. There was much leveling and many AVs fought. Fun time for all! Sorry for the very late post, but I just started playing my Ice/Bio Brute again and was looking for ideas. Since you're a Brute and going to be on the ground in the middle of the enemy, I'm not sure Hover/Fly servers you all that well (I get it if it's themed, or if you just like those powers). I'd go for Combat Jumping and Super Jump (Slotting the Winter's Gift 20% Slow Resist), and I'd look at swapping out 2 Common Heal and 1 Common End for 3 Numina's (Heal, Heal/End, Proc). I also swapped out the Numina's in Health for Panacea Proc.

We were few but mighty! Well, we were few and leveled up! Thanks much to all who participated in the event and special thanks to MsA for leading our small group on PI missions. Now that we have a few established Tankers there the next event should be easier to run TFs (with in level ranges of course). Which brings up the next question, do you want to do this again? If so let me know and we'll get one on the schedule.

I think after all these years of Tanking the only issue I have with Fire Armor is no KB resistance/protection/whatever it's called (goes for Dark Armor as well). I don' t think they'd be OP if that became inherent in the set. Temp Protection would be and ideal place for it. I know it's not a big deal to slot for KB protection (many different options and approaches with IO sets), but why should we have to (especially on Tanks).

Hi all, I got bit by RL again, and will likely be late to TT tonight. Veteran Tankers, please get the event rolling and I"ll see you when I can get there.

The general thought is that w/o DDR there's no need for Defense on Resistance built Tanks (the defense gets stripped away too easily). But, on live I ran an Electric/Fire as my main Tank for a long time. I think he had 45%+ to Melee and probably 20-30% Def against most other things. Here I'm currently testing an Elect Armor/Elect Melee Tank that has almost no Def and is pretty much capped to all except Toxic (I'd don't recall his Tox Resist). This may be a strictly memory vs reality vs game mechanics/math issue, but I swear my Tanker from live was more survivable (could be the 2ndry coming into play too Fire vs Elect). I'm slowing working on a second build to try out. So I'm afraid I don't have any solid info to contribute, but I am looking for an answer to this question too. I'll post my conclusions when I get to them. Until then I look forward to hearing from other Tankers as well. I'm not sure what level your Tank is but some of the Incarnate abilities can really help cover holes in the build or speed up how fast mobs go down (dead mobs are the best damage mitigation).
