Wanting access and having money are two separate things. I can contribute a little... just waiting to see how the wind is blowing so to speak. A 1 time fee I am much better at then ongoing. What would be the possibility of importing all the forum data into a blank site? Or once processed could we make it torrent downloadable? Of course online is best just want to think through every option.

I see so many ideas and thoughts about how to improve the game - which is great. I hope for the day we have full time Devs again. That said: Somethings I hope to see sooner then later. 1) Improved textures. I know this is very time consuming and you need to do a whole zone at once or things dont look right. Maybe start with the tile sets for missions. I have read about AIs being trained to do really a good job with upscaling textures and cleaning up artwork. It is a testament to the original team things still look decent even at 4k. 2) More tiles for mission maps. During live a lot of new and improved tiles were added - eg the Clock King warehouse pieces etc. More of this along with new tile shapes and rooms will add to the replay ability of the game considerable. Even better alternate sets, eg more then the office buildings, caves, etc we already have. Sadly also very time intensive. 3) More work cleaning up faces, hands and all the costume pieces. Some very good work has been done already, thank you, more would be very nice. Look at the faces and hands in the costu,e creator at 4k and you will see exactly what I mean. 4) New content. Populate the Warf. New stories and high level content. Give those uber build top tier ppl a bit more to do and add more content for the folks that like to level characters. 5) RP Centric zone. One that is light on quests and content but otherwise built around spaces for the RP crowd. Or perhaps more quests and content specific to this group? 6) Single large zone all characters from all servers can go to for contests and group events. Of course it would need to clone like AP1 2 and 3 and need to be cross faction as well. Like a super Pocket-D or an expanded one. Any list could go into the hundreds of items so I'll stop here. I also want to avoid powers/at balance and proliferation. Those are important topics I am just looking to focus on the game engine and world itself in this post. Before anyone feels the need to point out all of this would take a lot of time and work, yes I know. This is hoping for the future. What other ideas and thoughts for improving the game world do other people see?

This is what I use, it gives me a button for each form and swaps my bottom tray. /macro Nova "powexec_name Bright Nova$$goto_tray 9" /macro Dwarf "powexec_name White Dwarf$$goto_tray 8" /macro human "powexec_toggleoff Bright Nova$$powexec_toggleoff White Dwarf$$goto_tray 1" I dont have my pb to 20 again so I havnt tested the Dwarf one, other two work fine.

I would say that a Fire/Storm SHOULD take RoF for use against AVs... but if they don't, it's not a great deal. The reason is that they do far less direct damage that benefits from Containment, than pet damage that does not benefit. You will have 3 Imps, 2 Tornados, and 1.5 Storms out on the average, and that puts out significantly more damage than the Controller's direct attack cycle. Not to mention that all of these powers plus Freezing Rain suck up endurance, and that if you are soloing the AV, you need to run defensive toggles in addition to having some IO set bonuses, since Fire/Storm has no taunting pets. So... due to Endurance problems, I don't think that a max-damage personal attack cycle will be that useful, compared to the much more End-efficient summons. You may still want RoF to help with a bit of damage, and to keep the AV in one spot. Otherwise you have to run Hover to stay away from melee AVs. Yeah and how are you going to keep that AV in Tornados, Freezing Rain, Bonfire and Thunder Storm? If anything RoF is even more important that usual for Plant/Storm since it relies so much on damage over time effects. Your taunting pets makes me wonder about the viability of a Dark/Storm. You get the Immo and the taunting pets plus the damage. Plus Dark Has better access to IO sets then Fire. Tornado follows the AV actively - specially if it is the only thing up. FR is on a short enough recharge (if slotted right) to just keep dropping it on them. Bonfire with some recharge is also pretty short recycle. LS has a pretty decent range. Of course nailing the AV to the floor with immobs is ideal.

I do throw them in at random -- that is likely it.

I would also say dont assume any part of the code is still spaghetti. From what I have read a big part of what SCORE has been doing is refactoring the code. IE cleaning it up - a lot. Good idea of course to not assume anything is quick or easy at the some time it is also a really good idea to assume anything in particular is not easy. I am guessing it would be more of an artwork issue myself with only a few eye based attacks in the game already. It would be pretty neat to play.... I could see eye beams as alternates for a few power sets, the single target parts any ways. Fire, Ice, Electricity, Dark, etc.

I was leveling my fire/kin from 4-6 and notice his char was doing KD most of the time. This is very new. I tested it on my fire/storm and found it happening there too. Normally I hit things with fire cages or ROF which seems to suppress it. Was this an intentional change? Not that it matters since char holds the target doesnt matter if they sometimes KD at the beginning of the hold.

Have you rebooted your computer and router?

Thanks -- wow I got lucky. I am not usually up that early.

Out of curiosity - any official time for how long it was open?

Since this is related to a non-Server specific task, then Titan may in-fact be willing to work with it. What they Don't want to do is be aligned with any one server if for no other reason than keeping separate / fair / self-preservation. This is certainly beneficial to all servers.

Elec/Elec I am rebuilding from live. He was mostly solo - ppl would be super surprised when I teamed, since there was a big 'thing' that stalkers 'sucked' back then. I guess lightning rod is just that flashy :) Might be interested in leveling up another with a different feel to the play style.
-
Thinking back to live -it has been a while- I also had around 115-120 end, accolades, percent increases from sets and the like all adding together. End recovery is percent based so the bigger the number the better - of course that takes away from other set bonuses.

Are you using all the procs/special io's for plus end?

AVs have a much lower resist to IMMOB then the affects that disable. Stack enough ROF and you'll have containment. The Crey pistol can help at the start of an AV fight too - to stack immob faster. As fire/storm your debuffs are far more important then your direct damage vs AVs. FR and Tornado are both strong debuffs for defense and can both be set up with the Achilles heel -20% damage resist - which stacks with the -30dr FR has to start. EG Everyone will hit more often and hit harder when they do - much harder.

I was getting it today in AP. Server was under 1k pop. Didnt see any power spamming or tons of pets. Might be a server population thing, lots of alts perhaps?

I dont think they planned on 4k. -
Sounds pretty annoying. While playing get something like pandora or neflix going on that pc. It would be interesting to see if that stops or stalls too - if so could be the network connection on that computer. Can you update the chipset and ethernet drivers? I am assuming built in ethernet, right? Is it a desktop where you can put in a second ethernet port?

What server are you on? Be fun to team sometime.

I am starting the patron arcs right now on my rebuilt Fire/Storm. Hard choice Mu or Leviathan. On live I solo'd a lot - this guy was my farm/inf character. More end reducers can do the trick, your right however it is all about choices -- more -end cost is less something else. I think I will go Mu till at least 50 - I am using generic IO's for the most part till then. When I start my 50 sets project I'll have to decide which way to go. The only time I would ever end crash after maxing out my Alpha Slot was while teaming - otherwise wasnt really an issue. Then again Fire/Storm can run out of end on Speed Boost or AM.

Unfortunately, it's really hard to fly in at precisely 90° to the 'backstop', so you wind up sliding to one side or the other, and come to a stop mashed up against one or the other of the guards. They seem to be disciplined enough to resist the opportunity to cop a feel, but it's still a bit embarrassing. I think it would be pretty fair for them to get to enjoy a handful every now and again. Note - said handful should be limited to beings of legal age in the Paragon jurisdiction. (Currently 16 in Rhode Island - in our 'real' world) -
I have a fire/storm/leviathan build on the old forums I liked. Had 3 leadership toggles and the resistance toggle going too. The alpha was imperative - plus end reducers in some powers like fire cages and hotfeet. Mu mastery is a good way to do it too - I just really wanted the water spout to go with tornado. Fire/Storm is an awesome combo. I have also played fire/kin on live and a well played fire/storm can do just as well. They both have pluses.
