  1. If that's the case, then you should try out proccing RT on test, it's really good! Edit: You know what? You're correct about Ground Zero, it's a good aoe. I'm too stupid to realize this, but mayyyybeee I can replace Whirling Mace with Ground Zero. Nothing special about that WM [pb]aoe, and it has small radius...
  2. I used to love trollers back in retail, but nowadays, not anymore. A lot of enemies resists different type of controls, especially in endgame. I believe there's only two controls are rarely resisted; confusion and sleep. Doms are quite strong thanks to their secondary powers and Domination. Though, it'll be a long, and painful journey from lv1 to 50. I suppose, trollers can be useful in PvP due to crowd controls, but I left PvP in issue 13, and never looked back.
  3. Scourge kicks in when the enemy's HP is really low. The pet, Voltaic Sentinel, do Scourge too as well, but you have to keep summoning him. Unlike trollers/mm/doms, he only stays for like one minute, and expensive to cast.

  6. Yeah, I changed the build again. I had 6 prev med slotted in other rad tanker builds, but I find this particular build really tight, especially with war mace. 😕 Warboss: Beta Decay should be okay with two slots, it's not exactly overkill if you see the values. Combine that with proc bombed Rad Therapy is really good. I actually don't like Ground Zero. It requires accuracy, unlike Rad Therapy, which have higher base accuracy. Also, Ground Zero have a slow mo animation. Rad Therapy win hands down. The procs in Jawbreaker and Shatter definitely helps. You made a good point about psionic resist from hecatomb. I might drop one Psi resistance IO, and change the proc with hecatomb damage IO. That means 3 slots left for lv44... I was too tired and didn't noticed one slot left. /facepalm Revised.mxd
  7. I thought so too, but I do like doing lowbie TFs once in a while. Crowd Control unlocks at 38 while Whirling Mace can be used at 20. 😕 I'm not a fan of Whirling Mace. Nothing special about it--radius is smaller, but it shouldn't be an issue due to beta decay/taunt. anotherTANK.mxd
  8. How much global recharge are we talkin' about? I made a build; took everything except Pulverize. I'm a bit scared of end issues though lol. Crazy expensive.
  9. So, I discovered Rad/Mace is hungry for more slots. Gosh, this is hard. By the way, I skipped GZ, I liked procbomb Therapy than slow mo GZ.

  11. Hi guys, I hope you all are doing well. I rolled Rad/Mace tank a while ago. I really like War Mace a lot due to KU, KD, and Stun. However, I really can't afford to take them all. Which abilities are skippable? My build personally skipped Pulverize and Crowd Control. Is that a problem? What else do you guys skipped?
  12. Personally, I can't stand the drawbacks. Three abilities provided -Speed. -30% damage, and -65%[?] Recharge from Granite. Seriously? 30-40 mph may seems fine to you, but it's still slow. Your other teammates get ahead and tank for ya. Also, switching between granite and non granite is lame. Unable to jump ruined the fun, I don't understand why can't we jump? I'm even more confused when the GMs all over PI, The Hive, and the Abyss can jump and normally run, but we, the players, can't? What? Edit: Just to be clear, I'm not into teleporting, none of my characters have that. Also, I find it a bit silly that we have to waste slots for +run speed. I had Granite/Fire tank back on live. Nowadays? I'll pass.

  14. I have Rad/Dark tank, amazing combo. But, I felt sad when I tried Dark melee on different AT, never again.
  15. To be honest, I want new content that can be challenging to incarnates. Power creep is no fun. Also, fix old powersets such as Sonic Resonance, [Liquefy anyone?] and Stone Armor. Thanks!
  16. Resistance all the way. DDR exists everywhere, and -resists is rare. It's easy to build defenses via different sources, but not resistances.

  18. Yup, I strongly felt Fiery melee should have a dps buff, and shortened cast times. They don't have any CC or mitigation, for goodness's sake.
  19. I read very detailed info about PT: Chance for heal somewhere. The healing component depends on the AT, and if you have more than one PT: Chance for heal IO, the healing rate will be reduced. Now, I have no idea which AT you slotted that IO in, and how many in that build. You should check it out! I think this forum have the information about PT: Chance for heal. Edit: Found it, it's in Bopper's signature [you won't able to see it if you're looking on your phone] +HP/+Regen Proc Cheat Sheet. It was update in May, so not sure if anything changed by now. The text on the IO is fine, it's just...vague.

  21. So...are scrappers the only AT being affected by this bug?? I just rolled katana/rad brute a week ago. I plan to play him this weekend. I need my flashy sword to show off 😉
  22. With enough recharge, you really don't need GFS in an attack chain, it's really slow. Also, for some reason, it converts most damage to Lethal, not fire. Don't get me wrong, I like the idea of slamming on an enemy with a fire sword, but I'll pass. Oh by the way, a lot of numbers in mids are wrong.
  23. Choice is good, but I wish some of the AT have more defense shields such as Blasters.
  24. No one should take Greater Fire Sword. That ability have bad DPA, same thing with the ice version. Incinerate is the real deal--very strong ST, but DoT though. 😕
  25. Poison/Fire. Fun combo!
