Ice/Thorny is my favorite. Maxxed out Arctic Air with proc bomb Thorntrops. /giggles

I feel Ground Zero is skippable. Yes, Rad Therapy and GZ are both fantastic for procs, but Ground Zero still need accuracy, and long animation, like--wow. Rad Therapy has an high base accuracy, which means you can go with procs alone, nothing else. I took tier9 at lv49 for set mule, it's a great place to slot like Gladiator's. Fun fact; Gamma Boost slotted with end mod IO is actually stronger than P Shifter's. It also provides End/Recovery debuff resistance. Particle Shielding gives 50% recovery for like, 30 seconds I think? [PS on auto is fantastic--I don't use it for recovery, absorb/regen is amazing.] Mids don't reflect everything, always test stuff ingame. Edit: If you have a solid AoE from primary power along with Rad Therapy, you can skip Ground Zero. Otherwise, you'll be standing doing nothing for 3 seconds. It does have a buff for your teammates, but it's so ridiculously small. I took GZ on /Fire tanker, because lolCombustion.

I heard there's a bug with DP's tier 9 though.

Oh, my definition is different. Aggro means getting attention of an NPC without taunt, or aggressive behavior. Blappers are very aggressive due to mixed abilities.
-
I'm not sure why you're talking about taunt. I already stated it before; Blasters have low HP, 0% defenses without set bonuses/defense abilities and high DPS thanks to the modifier. Edit: Basically, you're an aggro magnet with low defenses/HP. ;D
-
Huh. I don't recall any nerfs to Scrappers after AE, but then again, that was a long time ago. Honestly, it's not fair to Scrappers while Brutes with high HP/90% resists and strong DPS, Stalkers got best buffs back on retail and there's broken ATO, and Tankers with 90% resists and got target increased/aoe buffs. Scrappers? Lulz. Scrappers only have one good thing going; Crits. That's it.

I don't know about all secondaries, but I took Cross Punch on /SS and /MA tanks. The benefits from Rage works well with Cross Punch, and its CD is short. The stuns from Boxing/Cross Punch stacks with MA's stun from Cobra Strike, and Eagles Claw [lol]. I like the fact Cross Punch helps with the lack of AoE, despite being a cone.

Fire/Kin is overrated. Besides, why on earth you want to farm on Fire/Kin corr instead of Broot, like seriously? Big difference. Rad/Kin used to be very popular on Live due to -def. Nowadays, it's alright, Neutrino Bolt never been the same as Live RIP. Anyway, you need to be careful with Irradiate, it's an aggro magnet.

I never play /Elec, but a damage aura sounds bad, I mean you're a blapper with 0 defenses and low HP [which is why lots of blasters took fighting pool]. Water may have a lot of soft controls, but that doesn't help with the damage aura, not in a long run. Also, I vaguely recall procs go off in every 10 secs? Personally, I don't find that useful, the procs are better off in somewhere else other than damage aura. Besides, with /Elec being strong ST DPS and Water, strong AoEs, do you need Lightning Field? It's a great combo, a perfect fit actually.

I always wondered if applying momentum mechanic to Kinetic Melee will fix super slow attacks and kinetic is about motion, right? I'm not trying to make it strong DPS wise, I can't stand slow animations. Also I really dislike Power Siphon, It's not the same as build up or aim or whatever else it's called.

If you planning to try out Mids, one important thing you should know, it's not 100% accurate. Also, make sure you download Mids from this website or discord[?], not some shady website. The answer is Radiation Armor. I cannot explain enough. It's amazing! I love it, in fact, I have five different radiation armor toons. Unfortunately, Rad shines with procs and IOs, since you're a new player, I'll vote SR or Shield--plain and simple.

I though it was 12 ft too as well, but others said 15ft. But, whatever.
-
Yeah, the flavor text said 8 ft, but I assumed after the changes, it's 15ft [Doesn't feel like it, maybe it's the accuracy problem]. Rad Therapy have 20ft, and GZ have 15ft but it's good buff/debuff. I'm not sure how the +HP ally works, does the ally have to be in the radius?
-
I though Shred or Rending Flurry is still bugged [one of the ability doesn't crit]. I bet my money on Shred.
-
Darling, I don't care about Super Strength and its ridiculous rage effect. However, I do want Stone Melee. Bad.
-
I'm pretty sure Savage is still bugged on scrapper, but I can't remember which ability doesn't crit. Why can't I remember...hmmm.
-
Erm, you didn't mentioned about flying. Yes, sometimes he spawns on the ground or the coastline, but most of the time, he's flying high. Like really high. Not to mention, it's a bit hard to see him in broad daylight, I mean, he's a ghost.
-
Two words: WAR MACE. Secondary powerset doesn't matter, but shield sounds perfect for maximum damage, I suppose. [Bio works too, but I hate the looks.] Note: Dark melee/shield is pretty strong, but I prefer Dark Melee on tankers though, tankers have good stuff. I think Savage is still bugged on Scrappers.
-
If that's the case, then you should try out proccing RT on test, it's really good! Edit: You know what? You're correct about Ground Zero, it's a good aoe. I'm too stupid to realize this, but mayyyybeee I can replace Whirling Mace with Ground Zero. Nothing special about that WM [pb]aoe, and it has small radius...

I used to love trollers back in retail, but nowadays, not anymore. A lot of enemies resists different type of controls, especially in endgame. I believe there's only two controls are rarely resisted; confusion and sleep. Doms are quite strong thanks to their secondary powers and Domination. Though, it'll be a long, and painful journey from lv1 to 50. I suppose, trollers can be useful in PvP due to crowd controls, but I left PvP in issue 13, and never looked back.
-
Scourge kicks in when the enemy's HP is really low. The pet, Voltaic Sentinel, do Scourge too as well, but you have to keep summoning him. Unlike trollers/mm/doms, he only stays for like one minute, and expensive to cast.

Let's be honest, there must be ONE BEST mathematically

I'm pretty sure there's multiple farm builds in a thread which discussed about testing fast clear/xp. I think it's in the guides section, it's been ages... Edit: -
That might be true, but I need Combat Jumping. Super Jump is just a bonus.
-
Yeah, I changed the build again. I had 6 prev med slotted in other rad tanker builds, but I find this particular build really tight, especially with war mace. 😕 Warboss: Beta Decay should be okay with two slots, it's not exactly overkill if you see the values. Combine that with proc bombed Rad Therapy is really good. I actually don't like Ground Zero. It requires accuracy, unlike Rad Therapy, which have higher base accuracy. Also, Ground Zero have a slow mo animation. Rad Therapy win hands down. The procs in Jawbreaker and Shatter definitely helps. You made a good point about psionic resist from hecatomb. I might drop one Psi resistance IO, and change the proc with hecatomb damage IO. That means 3 slots left for lv44... I was too tired and didn't noticed one slot left. /facepalm Revised.mxd

I thought so too, but I do like doing lowbie TFs once in a while. Crowd Control unlocks at 38 while Whirling Mace can be used at 20. 😕 I'm not a fan of Whirling Mace. Nothing special about it--radius is smaller, but it shouldn't be an issue due to beta decay/taunt. anotherTANK.mxd
