  1. fyi - I am here because of the back end and stability changes that were prioritized by Homecoming for running the game on modern systems. maybe an insta 40 rather than 50 would be a compromise? there is still enough of a slog to become familiar with the ins and outs if some one so chooses. the leveling from 40-50 should still generate enough drops to keep the market going.
  2. We do not get to discuss the potential of a suggestion or whether a suggestion is even warranted. No means no.
  3. Oooo obvious secret messages referring to the original post. seriously though, is the marshmellow entity eating it's babies? someone else's babies? is their head exploding? this might be my new /jranger
  4. troo but it can be slow and sometimes they don't agree. thread derailers are rarely stopped in time.
  5. @Seed22 no responses yet?
  6. Another way to go about it is the allow a play who has achieved level 50 to respec a powerset. This capitalized on any skills gained for the Archetype we have potentially some experience with rather than spinning up a 50 on something we maybe have no experience on. We'd also have some slotting accomplished rather than starting from scratch. Cost could be whatever. I'd be in favor of a level and sink cost, ~10 levels, a powerset respec token and 250 Aethers make up something appropriate This could encourage people to play their character pre 50 but doesn't force it. Of course they could just go PL it, whatever, that's up to the player.
  7. a couple edits and it's ready to go Instant Level 50 Characters At character creation, new Insta-50 characters can now tick a box called "Insta-50 (PVE only)". Characters created with this box ticked will spawn on Ouroboros and can only access PVE zones, Coop Zones, and Supergroup Bases. These characters cannot travel to any PVP zones, or enter Arena. In return, they start at Level 50 with all Incarnate slots unlocked, Incarnate powers can be crafted at no cost, and Patron Powers don't require the Patron badges. Those characters count as level 1 for the name reservation system, you can't create an Insta-50 character just to lock a name. They still need to provide their own enhancements, there's no easy mode for that. The goal here is to remove the barrier of entry for players that are curious about PVE, but don't want to spend the time leveling up a new character that would be useful under the PVE rules.
  8. something like? Instant Level 50 PvP Characters At character creation, new Primal characters can now tick a box called "Temporal Warrior (PVP only)". This is not available for existing characters or Praetorians. Characters created with this box ticked will spawn on Recluse's Victory and can only access the four PVP zones (Bloody Bay, Siren's Call, Warburg, Recluse's Victory), Pocket D (for access to the various vendors), the Arena and Supergroup Bases. These characters cannot travel to any other zones, enter trials or teleport via LFG, get missions from contacts, or enter mission doors from other players. In return, they start at Level 50 with all Incarnate slots unlocked, Incarnate powers can be crafted at no cost, and Patron Powers don't require the Patron badges. Those characters count as level 1 for the name reservation system, you can't create a PVP character just to lock a name. They still need to provide their own enhancements, there's no easy mode for that. Because their own ability to get rewards is so limited (the only available source of rewards is critters in PVP zones) the expectation is that those characters will receive influence and enhancements from other characters that are PVE enabled. The goal here is to remove the barrier of entry for players that are curious about PVP, but don't want to spend the time leveling up a new character that would be useful under the PVP rules.

  10. Really not a ton. For the level of effort put into the bases and the organizing, a little extra promotion is warranted. You and the crew might also deserve a little 'official' recognition as well. They can pin it. There are also Staff and Dev feeds that people follow (so if they post the event or reply to) They can help cross post it to the Event calendar if you've never done that. @GM Widower @GM Kaiju might know who can assist. I'd do it for you but then my name is on it.
  11. With the changes coming I wanted to keep it a pretty short bang for the buck. Thanks for checking it out.
  12. This was excellent last year. A GM should be able to assist with posting an unoffical event.
  13. That's great PK! Your instructions are a bit more streamlined than the original SCoRe release. Everyone who wants one should have a copy of the game. maybe call it Paragon Chat +++.
  14. When a player provides AE feedback it shows up like a Global tell. When replying, the reply is not shown but if they are offline or hidden at least a system message shows.
  15. Not substantially. BUT it is a point or two (I think). When the creator slider says 100% it isn't always quite 100% in-game. A lot of create > test > change > test > change > test > publish > retest > switch character > retest
  16. They do not. Should just be some of the minions so it doesn't slow anything but still gets a double take when it happens.
  17. yep yep. I am saying for this type of sink often the most desirable are in the middle with something okay at the top that would still standout as being rare. Putting the most wanted items in a top tier creates a haves / have nots which isn't the goal. It's so super subjective. The devs have done a pretty darn good job on it. They've communicated well, and stated their goals while indicating that they can make adjustments as appropriate.
  18. Putting less desirable or less impactful but still rare items in the top tier for epeening is common.
  19. Hey you're not wrong. Though it's also stupid thy stand in the Burn patch and don't run out of it. I do like that they roast rather than run,
  20. If one player has billions and billion from Empyrean to Reward Merit conversions and another player doesn't, is this really true?
  21. I'd guess the number of hidden posts, warnings, and bans in the beta feedback topics is disproportional. Just a wild guess. It takes up time moderating and going through posts (viewable and hidden) looking for desired feedback. The term 'Feedback" is vague. Player on Player policing over vague terminology. Some players get discouraged due to a poor experience providing feedback. Maybe it is counterintuitive to title something say "Beta Bug Testing" to get testing & bug reports.
  22. Appreciated @agentx5, thank you. We'll get there.
