but without aiding farming? if so, it would be worthy to consider.
-
If you asked me, I have answers, but they result in benefiting farming which is a non-starter and increased power creep which I'd like to avoid. Likely a toning down of the melee specific hate/punishment would help Broots. Some clever design could lower the front loaded punishment and increase subsequent punishment in an encounter. Create teachable aspects that reward desired tactics without being extremely punitive to a whole class. (maybe, I'm just spit balling)

Travel Power Updates This update brings a wide range of buffs for travel pools, a brand new travel power (as part of an update to the Concealment pool), and some mechanical improvements to how travel powers work Concealment Pool LINK The Concealment pool is now classed as a travel pool, with the first three powers being available immediately at level 4 Stealth has had most of the benefits of Invisibility rolled into it Its stealth radius has increased to match Invisibility's old radius Its out-of-combat defense has increased to match Invisibility's old defense values You can choose between the previous transparency levels of Stealth and Invisibility with power customization Infiltration was added as Concealment's tier 3 power (new travel power) If you previously had Invisibility, you will now have Infiltration Infiltration provides a decent increase to run speed, jump speed, jump height and air control These values mirror Ninja Run by default, but with Enhancements you will become significantly faster Infiltration also provides a strong stealth buff and some out-of-combat defense Stealth can also be achieved with adding the Celerity's Stealth proc but may not be necessary if a player has chosen the Concealment pool.

All devs play hero side blasters tends to explain a lot of what has happened over time.. so I've heard.
-
yeah... when a character hits 3 years without login.. BUT even, those are not the initial target of the potential change as was explained. Thousands of level 1s which were grabbed and never played will be made available. That's all that might be happening somewhere down the line with clear and substantial notification.

nay.. dare I say Brutes aren't the best farmers, just the easiest. note: Rad/Fire Brutes are simply nerf bait as Irradiated Ground is in the shop to be fixed. I agree that second or third place across multiple categories can result in a high aggregate score.

Is there one thing Brutes are currently best at?

@cranebump I would favor a specific contact for player created content. Even a terminal simply with preset filters for Devs Choice could be a decent starting point. @Clave Dark 5 This is the way.

No More Empyrean Merits to Reward Merits
Troo replied to DarionLeonidas's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
New Incarnate abilities might be on the horizon. I'm not saying horde your Empyrean but a new use may be approaching fyi. Currently EMs can be transferred to another character on the same account. -

"Soon" should have been one more week. @The_Warpact you would know..

What to do with Empyrean Merits in the future...

What to do with Empyrean Merits in the future...
Troo replied to Spectral's topic in General Discussion
Which is why I thought the first solution was more even handed. Middle ground could have been to remove Empyreans from the AE Vet Reward table. Keeping Threads, CC Tokens, and Respecs. Maybe add threads to compensate. But this would be more work and less intuitive. Level Veteran Badge Costume Change Respec Grant Empyrean Merits Inc. Threads 1 120 2 120 3 Overleveled CC Token 20 4 120 5 120 6 Faithful CC Token 20 7 120 8 120 9 Dependable CC Token Respec 20 10 120 11 120 12 Loyal 20 15 Zealous CC Token 20 18 Staunch CC Token 20 21 Steadfast CC Token Respec 20 24 Devoted 20 Totals 33 Badges 13 CC Tokens 6 Respecs 410 Emp. Merits 960 Threads https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Veteran_Levels But as far as what to do with Empyreans post Page 4, transfer to alt, use at Incarnate Vendor, hold for future Incarnate Abilities, and/or lobby for more items at the iVendor. -

AE Devs Choice gives all rewards and drops still happened. Never would have needed to leave the AE building. If someone's sole purpose was to repeat the same fire farm map for iVet rewards, yes it had an impact. That said, all rewards were available except very specific subset of some Incarnate rewards from some AE content. Empyreans can be earning in AE Devs Choice correct? -

Troo replied to Spectral's topic in General Discussion
If you have all the alts and all the incarnate teirs, then you are correct. Incarnate emps/salvage/threads/shards have little value if you don't want items at the incarnate vendor. The first change was more even handed in my opinion. But the AE fire farm wailing over the 'need' to not just earn vet level but also all the rewards while AFK won out. I solo a lot also. I just do it in PvP zones where the rewards are higher. -

Are you saying that the number of Emyreans earned is too much? Nah, we were intended to experiment a little with Incarnates and mistakes do happen. As others have said, Empyreans can be transferred to another character. This is the use for 'extra Emps'. If a player has enough I believe they technically can T4 a brand new 50 which has zero vet levels. (maybe not the most efficient... we'll likely see more on this post Page 4) New Incarnates are going to be a thing at some point. (not to be confused with Soontm) -
Were you intended to run all the toggles all the time? No. (this is the truth about Dark Armor) Dark is the swiss army knife of armors. Use too many features at once and it c a n b e c u m b e r s o m e.. Some of the toggles could be considered situational. Some of the toggles pair better with some secondary sets than others. With significant investment and tactics we can run all the toggles we want.

oh geez. lol Don't forget Demonic Aura for those rare times recharge gets floored. frontrunner.. lol

Solo 1-49 (without ATO or sets): Why Stalker instead of Blaster?
Troo replied to Greymistbc1's topic in Stalker
#1 Don't skip Placate This was one of the most powerful abilities in the game when it was single target. Now it is an AoE. It allows escape and can also increase damage through crits. Put a couple recharges in it. Now you're Stalkering. #2 Lean into the additional effects of your primary If you pick a primary that has +def, pair it with a secondary that is defense. If you pick a primary that has crowd control like stuns, try and use it, don't ignore it. #3 Pairing Primary/Secondary Look for synergies. Energy Melee loves recharge. Are there any secondaries which have +rech? Suggested combos Energy Melee/Energy Aura (hits hard, one of the best combos in game currently) Electric Melee/Shield Defense (AoE goodies [which don't break hide]) Hope this helps. Stalkers are fun. -
Would you like to see Incarnate salvage/threads/shards transferable between characters on an account?
-
I would like to get some folks thoughts before having it locked. There might be a good specific suggestion that comes from a general discussion. AE having additional rewards added on Homecoming has created the need to adjust rewards beyond AE. Maybe that's not the best route.
