  1. Play Marine almost every day, have Perma-Rage, and with all the Resist Damage Invulnerability Gives me I really don't notice it drop. My Set bonus's and Incarnates compensate to the point where I really don't have to stop and wait for anything. I suppose with more Defensively based sets it could be a problem. Personally I take what they give me and turn it into a steak dinner. Just glad to be back playing him and I've always tried to not be the squeaky wheel, so I just consider it a normal part of life to have to deal with changes and challenges
  2. Hey, we were on a Couple PUGs not too long ago, Hello again. I am from Ohio, USA so am at GMT-5 daylight savings and play between 3:30am and 6:00am most weekdays before work and at a bit more flexible hours on the weekend if I don't get called out. My Reunion Super group is a DUD however: me, myself, I. 2 SG Mates from Live who hardly ever Play and, uh, ME. If you're super bored and willing to put up with me, my Global is @Marine X.
  3. With my Incarnate Abilities developing Nicely I have suddenly realized something...........I CAN SEE THE FUTURE!!! I See...........Casab3263864...........will be banned from the forums.........really.......I SEE IT!
  4. If you click reveal hidden contents you can view all the combos. He must have had space issues labeling all the columns.
  5. Looks like I could be 24 of a Kind if I roll an Ice Armor / Katana Tanker, I'll have to see if I can name him, Cold Cuts, lol.
  6. You might also see what you can do at a trainer, there is a set your badge title there, Sadly I always set my title from the badge menu, so I have no idea what is there, but worth a look.
  7. I think there is a setting in the Menu under options, seems it might have been same place where you can customize your text color. Can't log in from work or I would check on it for you, but I think it's somewhere in that menu.
  8. Started a Villain last week, Xeniram, ( Marine X backwards )Bio Armor/Titan Weopon Tank on Reunion. Instead of using Kalinda or Burke I did a " Find Contact " and started from an entirely new place for me, no snake hunts etc. Has actually been pretty cool so far, and already to 12, like this Defensive set and Titan going well. Have yet to see more than a handful of players and none were social. Trying to play him as not so Villainish but more just trying to survive in a very Lawless hostile place, missions are giving me Morality choices so I have been taking the high road when possible.
  9. Overguard Armor with the Mecha Armor head in Blue and White would be a good starting point then tweak from there.
  10. Ok.....from looking at the Paragon Wiki the only way to start Dilemma Diabolique is from the LFG Tab, so I have to form the group first, they join the Queue? Is the LFG Incarnate Trial Tab been just abandoned or does it just not work? What about the regular LFG? Played from Issue 1 thru Sunset and always did my own for Task Forces and Trials but the Instructions from Dream Doctors mission were pretty specific, Is that just not how it's done here. I live in Ohio and play on Reunion ( Halcyon Originally ) and tend to play before work, 4:00am to 6:00am weekdays, and here and there on weekends. Anyone around to join up sometime, not having much luck in game finding teammates.
  11. I must need a shower or have bad breath because I just can't seem to ever find a way to do the Incarnate Trials. Have sat in the Queue for hours and nothing. Is there a better way to do this? Getting a little discouraged, Had a 3 day weekend with 1 goal, do the Dilemma Diabolique Trial, and now the weekend is almost over and NADA. I figured if I was available more, even on Reunion, I could get this done.
  12. I think it used to last longer. I played this Arc on the Original Marine X, which he would have been in the level range of this in late 2004 at the latest, and I remember it was really a grind to do. Paragon Wiki has it that Dr Anne-Marie Engles introduces you to Jim Tembler in Faultline which would have taken place after the Faultline Redo in Issue 8. I think Mansome is correct, they Nerfed it at some point because It was Quite a Pain In the AXS, I think there were a couple large street hunts you had to do while Infected and it was the Only time I ever died a bunch. On the subject of things that got changed....I remember doing missions with my brother, Delphon, and wondering why it was always such a tough fight when we did his missions, nothing but Purples and Reds everywhere. Then one day someone explained to me that if you change " How people in the City view you" at the Hero Corps Field Analyst to, oh say, " INVINCIBLE ", it MAXES the difficulty of your Missions. No SXXT! um....Del...................we need to have a talk.............. The new system is a lot more self explanatory, to say the least.
  13. Crap, I was looking forward to the suffering, only time I ever recall a debuff lasting even when out of the Missions. I could barely survive street hunting till I cleared that Arc. Oh well, Guess it's time to roll that Petless Mastermind.
  14. Does anyone recall this mission Arc and who the contact is to get it. I remember going through this on Live and actively avoiding running the arc ever again, but now in my older, more Sadist days wouldn't mind doing it again. It wasn't just the "swarm of flies" buzzing around me constantly but the almost complete lack of endurance and health recovery that drove me nuts, like going to work with the flu. Mission after Mission gimping along, sounds like fun, lol.
  15. I think we have already seen the beginnings of this. It is almost a daily thing where I see questions being posted by people who had never played on Live and are enjoying COH for the first time. Ran into 2 people in Game that I met when on Paragon Chat ( thank you Codewalker ) that had never played the game, but loved using PC for role play and were now in Awe of the game. I really think that word of mouth and the gaming community are already creating a bit of passive advertising otherwise it would only be Veterans here for the most part. Most of the comments from these new players is how much they are loving the game and community. We saw a huge surge in players at the beginning, then it slowed a bit, now it is building back up, albeit much more slowly. I think time will tell, but I foresee it getting back closer to peak population over time. Plus I think a lot of that initial surge was a lot of Multi-boxing and Power leveling by those that didn't realize that a lot of the best parts of the game are not at the end.
  16. There is this thing you can pull up called Game time but it is not in a convention time keeping format. I'll check it against regular time and post it later.
  17. Not a Skilled AE Mission Crafter, but was wondering if Anyone had ever created a Mission Arc to Cover the 7Year Gap in COH Lore. It could be something say where The Freedom Phallanx were in Cimerora or Ouroborus for a Meeting when Rularu broke free of the Shadow Shard and consumed the Universe. This left them and whatever Heroes or Villains were there to put things right, somehow. It could be done as a Contest with the winner getting his or her Mission assigned to a NPC to dispense outside AE ( if that is Possible ). If we are here for the long haul it would be great to be able to add content through the AE system and the truly outstanding ones that fit with existing Lore could become permanent content. Just a thought, I know I had on Live Played through some Outstanding Player Created content, and believe some of it could clearly be integrated into the Game. Any thoughts?
  18. Just wondering what Time Zone the Forums are in, since this is all very Multi-National. When something is initially posted it starts with " minutes ago ", then " hours ago ", then after so long goes to " day and time ". Also curious about in game time, it seems to be it's own form of time keeping, someone once explained it to me on Live but can't recall the discussion. In Closing, have went Solo a lot since the bulk of my playtime seems to be at weird times to find a group. I play most at from about 4:00am (GMT4) to 6:00am (GMT4). The shift will soon be here when that becomes GMT5 till spring and would like to find a few regular players on Reunion that are on at that time to do 50+ content. My Global is @Marine X.
  19. I updated and then got on for a while with no issues, then It dawned on me that I did not specify which version to run, so I don't know if it was 32bit or 64bit. Will log in later tonight and see how the 64bit Version of City of Heroes goes. Thanks for your time and effort on this. It was a necessary change for the newer Mac Users, but also a Huge step toward future-proofing the Game. It was going to have to happen at some point and can't wait to see the Processing Benefits in action.
  20. Oh Really, is there a list somewhere I missed showing future XXX of the week? Don't want to do anything stupid, lol.
  21. On a related Note, I was wondering if anything is planned to make Unattainable Badges Attainable. These would be all the Veteran Badges, VIP Badges, Purchase Badges, Badges for events from early in the games History, Anniversary Badges. I was looking at Paragon Wiki and there are a bunch of badges that will never be available on Homecoming unless how they are awarded is reworked. Some could easily be placed in Kallisti Wharf as exploration badges, which would help bring some traffic there in the form of badge hunters, or as Accomplishment Badges for things only Possible on Homecoming, such as some applied to Base Building. As far as Global Badges, I don't know how I feel about that, certainly would make sense to award Anniversary Badges to all Toons on an Account since that is how it was done on Live, but the Accolade, Accomplishment and Achievement Badges, I don't think that would be good because those are tied to personal stats, but maybe Exploration badges because it takes a lot of time to get them all and gets boring if you feel you need to do it over and over.
  22. Strangely I hardly ever even notice the Crash. Marine is Invulnerable / Super Strength and the amount of Set bonuses and Resists that he has makes it difficult to detect. Invul is almost all Resists with a Little Defense thrown in. A lot of the talk here makes it sound like the "Unstoppable" Crash, ( I hide that particular power where it never gets clicked by mistake, right beside Walk ( also known as the Suicide Button) ), I just have not felt it to be that Impactful. Shoring up the Psionic Hole in Invulnerability has been a much bigger concern. I still run PermaRage and IF I look at Power Attributes I can see the Crash but like I said, for me, it hasn't effected Gameplay. I understand that it may be a LOT worse with other Tanker/Brute sets that are heavy on Defense.
  23. Have had this happen several times lately, where the "Mission Complete" appears, but I had not completed all the Objectives. In the Most recent case it was the 2nd Mission for Mu'Vorkan, I still had 2 hostages to rescue and when I Defeated the last Leader, the Mission Completed. I searched areas of the Map I had not yet explored and found the 2 hostages, each being guarded by a Mob. On a side note: In the 1st Mission where you are to rescue Scirrocco and Ice Mistrel, I have come to believe that both of them are possessed by the Spirit of Leroy Jenkins. Scirrocco would run out of the room past an entire crowd of villians and aggro enemies in multiple mobs until he had an unmanageable Mob and they killed him, then I had to clean up the mess. Ice Mistrel would leave the Mob we were fighting and Snipe at targets in another Room. C'mon Leroy gimme a break, I thought Fussionette was Crazy, lol. I usually enjoy Pet Missions since because of when and where I play there are not a lot of team options, but that was irritating.
  24. A bit Cluttered but requires less mouse traffic and keeps me from accidently clicking say, walk...
  25. I played on Virtue from about a month after launch ( had to wait for broadband install ) and had a Paid Account till shutdown and never considered a penny of it wasted. I had a Good Job, had been married about 5 Years, and had just had to retire from Playing Music after 25 Years due to shoulder issues from a car accident I was in way back in 1990. ( It is not good to play Drums in a Rock band for 12 years with no Rotator Cuff ). I needed something to do, and City of Heroes became my "Golf". I played a lot. I was a member and contributor to Game Amp and a member of the Game Amp Super Group on Triumph. I had 8 Level 50s, 2 Fully Incarnate, and a ton of Alts everywhere in the leveling tree. Then the news came in August of 2012.......didn't even know what to say. I took all the prestige that our Supergroup had and remodeled the base, and it was big, into a Giant Maze, except the TP and Crafting rooms. and we invited people to visit and try it out. I was on the ledge of the AE Building in Atlas Park when the Server Shut down, watching the crowds under Atlas and on the City Hall steps. It was a profound feeling of loss. You have given me back my "Golf". I am now 56, have my original Main back to Incarnate and appreciate everything you have and may do to keep this going. This is really a lot more than a game. It is my Home away from Home, and I don't want to lose it again if there is a way to avoid it. Cheers to Homecoming.
