  1. No one's wrong here. I just see it as an opportunity to be more aggressive and creative in terms of slotting without worrying about recovery or regen as much. It's definitely not for everyone though.
  2. I see your point but you just can't compare both ATs. And honestly, Drain Psyche is stupidly good, so it's only fair there's a higher risk-reward here. Lastly, if you build for decent ranged defenses then all you have to do is attack from range, jump in while the mobs are casting their ranged attacks, pop DP and hop back out in safety. Combat Jumping is a blaster's best friend.
  3. Good to know! How about Mids - is there a working solution? Thank you!
  4. Does it run smoothly? I've been thinking of finally letting go of my 10y-old desktop and get a M2 Mac Mini. But I'd love to still being able to play City of Heroes and a few minor steam gams.
  5. For some reason the Insp macro doesn't work as intended for me. When I press E it brings up a menu and then I have to click in order to create/use insps each time. I'm pretty sure in the past all I had to do was spam E and that's it. What am I missing here? EDIT: Solved.
  6. I'd say Burn is still a must-have even if you don't have a taunt aura. A proc-heavy Burn will instantly wipe minions and most Lts. Considering there's rarely more than 2 bosses per spawn, it's still an awesome power to have. And even if some Lts do survive, you can instantly follow up with FSC and/or any AoE in your primary set to put the nail in the coffin. If bosses try to flee, the fact that Blasters are ranged damage dealers by concept means you can easily kill them without chasing. Plus, adding a Fury -Res to Burn is a great way to boost your DPS for a bit - especially against hard targets.
  7. Oh, I wasn't commenting on your build. I was just expressing my thoughts on Blasters + HM and why you don't necessarily have to go with tough(er) builds.
  8. It's funny, I actually see HM as the perfect chance to go full damage on my blasters. It's about the only scenario in this game where I know the Tank will be tanking and support characters will be supporting, giving damage dealers the opportunity to do what they do best - kill things faster. Granted, this requires proper team coordination, and you may still die here and there. But I find it refreshing and fun. With that said, I'm not saying this is the way to go. It's just one more option for you to explore!
  9. You really cant go wrong here. Any combo you pick will be able to solo very comfortably. I would even suggest using a primary/secondary randomizer to make things even more interesting. That's what I've been doing with my tanks and it's been a lotta fun. The only thing I absolutely stay away from is Kinetic Melee. I just cant stand it. But it's a personal thing - some players love it. Let us know what you end up going with and enjoy!
  10. @Yomo Kimyatawhere's our weekly update? Curious to hear your most recebt experiences.
  11. I just recently created my first base, solely for the purpose of stashing my stuff. But before I commit too much of my time, how to you keep your keep your enhancement tables organized? Do you have dedicated tables for Purples only? Do you sort it alphabetically? Are you a rebel and just yolo it?
  12. There was a guy back on live who destroyed things with his Earth/Earth domi. Malta, Carnies, Knives - you name it He was badass. He also was one of the first to solo ITF on +4/8 with a dominator when everyone was doing it with scrappers or Time toons. He had a vídeo of him doing it on his Gravity/Fire which is even more impressive since there was no confuse nor sleep spam tactics. So yeah, his Earth/Earth was deffo the reason why I made one too.
  13. In short, hitting harder is very different from doing better damage per second.
  14. In fact there were no boats. Only smoke. Because smoke bomba. Because ninjas.
  15. I'll say Stone/Dark. Nice dps, great survivability, cool sfx, and plenty of soft control tools that will allow you to approach each battle differently and not get bored easily -- knockdowns, knockbacks, stacked stuns, hold w extreme damage. Yum!
  16. That's very odd. I havent experienced any changes when playing my SR toons in regular content. Unless I over aggro. But at +2/4 I assume that's not the case.
  17. Just noticed you asked for a Spines/Fire. But it's easy enough to adjust the above!

  20. Here's one option. Should you decide to go with this, you'll probably need to adjust your playstyle/mindset a little. You come from a build with soft capped defenses (like most blasters) while the build below only has 30% ranged + melee defenses. That's how I build most of my blasters. The reasoning behind it is simple: A) if I solo, I know one small purple insp will cap my defenses if I need it, and B) if you team up a lot there's a good chance others are running +def team buffs anyway. So going with a resistance shield ends up adding more survivability to my toons. Also, I dropped Positronic Fist, but feel free to add it back in if you really want to stick w it.
