  1. What happens when you try to run the Homecoming launcher? No, you don't need Tequila. It will soon be unsupported.
  2. Just swap Super Jump for Fly and Hover for anything else (for example, Spring Attack, Cross Punch, Hand Clap, etc.)
  3. Seems to me a lot of the wounds are self-inflicted. If you pick a regular AT, go blue, do the tutorial (choosing to skip the tutorial as a new player is pretty dumb), and then see the contacts the game gives you it's all very new player-friendly, especially once you get to Twin Shot, as that arc does a lot of educating and touring. The game is not always going to be easy for new players, especially when you get sent to Perez Park or the Hollows, but that doesn't mean it isn't friendly. Yes, there is a lot you need to figure out on your own, but that's true of all MMOs, and part of the MMO experience. And I have to say, the community here is awesome, and is ready and willing to help newbies, which is more than I can say for other superhero MMOs that *cough*D*cough* shall *cough*C*cough* remain *cough*U*cough* nameless *cough*O*cough*.
  4. I was thinking about this yesterday, we should be able to buy salvage from vendors. I'm really sick and tired of jackasses who manipulate the market and make it impossible to get the stuff you need when you need it.
  5. The Steam Deck uses Proton, which allows playing PC games. Your phone can't do that. The best you could do is to stream the game from a PC or laptop to your phone and play that way.
  6. Flight or SS. I rarely take anything else.
  7. Server load is pretty low right now, I don't think there are any issues.
  8. A Sentinel might be a good choice, one with a "set it and forget it" secondary like Willpower, Super Reflexes, Ninjitsu, or Invulnerability. You could go with a melee AT but they are very positional and that could wind up being a bit too much stress on your hands (my right shoulder definitely starts to act up after playing a melee character for too long). You could also go with a Force Field AT, like Controller, Corruptor, or MM (MMs are ok as long as you don't crank up the difficulty, and Bots + FF is a great combo for keeping the pets alive). FF is super low maintenance, a nice chunk of defense, and some good controls and debuffs now. I would also consider taking Phase Shift as an "oh sh*t" power in case you get in over your head so you don't have to frantically start clicking and maneuvering in an attempt to survive.
  9. The OP claimed that Tanks are boring and too easy because even at +4/x8 they are unkillable. My point was that's only true if you choose to use IO sets to make you that way, and that Tanks with an SO or common IO build are far from godly. Then you came in and went "ackchyualllly, Granite...", as if finding one exception to the rule disproves my point. It doesn't, because even Granite isn't godly across the board without IO sets. And as we both agree it comes with significant deficiencies in other areas. SR is great and all until you actually do get hit (which will be roughly 5-10% of the time) for near full damage because your resists are minimal (again, using an SO or common IO build). Also not godly. And that's my point. One has to choose to use IO sets to make themselves godly. No AT is that way out of the box. So if you don't want your Tank to be godly, stick to SOs and common IOs.
  10. You could try Firefox for Android. I know it has extensions (including Dark Reader) and it might give you better performance. https://darkreader.org/blog/mobile/
  11. You might want to search the forums for this, because I'm sure it's been discussed before as to why pseudo pets don't get FE and why there are a few exceptions.
  12. Granite makes out the best of the bunch. But you're still looking at ~40% typed defense (16% for toxic/psi) and ~64% resists to E/N/F/C, 90% S/L/T, and 0% psi, so you'd still take quite a bit of damage at +4/x8 depending upon what you're fighting (Carnies, CoT, and Arachnos will wreck you while a S/L farm will tickle at best). And it comes with significant drawbacks in other areas. Not really the most engaging set to play, which is why you hardly ever see one these days.
  13. Storm Blast Sentinel or Storm Blast/Storm Summoning Corruptor. But you're right, there isn't any AT that fits every one of your requirements.
  14. Yeah, they're pretty squishy. Also note that as you get more of them their level drops by one, making them even more squishy. But keep in mind, all the damage they take, you're not.
  15. You could try a Chrome extension like Dark Reader.
  16. IIRC pseudo pets don't get Fiery Embrace. It's not a bug.
  17. As surprising as it may seem, I think so, yes. At least the first time with no explanation.
  18. I really don't understand this, because even Tanks are squishy with SOs or common IOs. You have to purposefully go out of your way to make them godly. So maybe just don't do that? I guarantee you no Tank with a common IO build and no Incarnates is tanking +4/x8.
  19. Had one of my posts from a few hours ago vanish, no warning, no notice, nada. 🤷‍♂️
  20. Oh, way too many to pick just one.
  21. Hoping someday we get a fix for cutscenes on ultrawide monitors *hint hint nudge nudge*
  22. Someone in chat on Torch was saying AE XP doesn't appear to be boosted. I can neither confirm nor deny.
