  1. Kheldians can be fun to play, but I agree they are a lot of work and a pain to build for what is ultimately a mediocre performer. The game and the ATs the forms are based upon have evolved, but they haven't.
  2. Also no defense buffs IIRC. The P2W vendor buffs also give valuable stats but they are prohibitively expensive after level 1. But it is one way a squishy can get full mez protection.

Make new characters with a powerset combo I've never done before and/or do a concept character, like a human-only PB, petless MM, melee-only Blaster, etc. Sometimes I'll remake a character as a different AT, see if I like that version better or worse than the original, like Blaster to Sentinel, Tank to Brute, Scrapper to Stalker, etc.

  7. Also remember this dev team REALLY loves Blasters, so they are far and away more capable than they ever were on live. The only major hole for them is mez protection, which you can get from Incarnates.
  8. The game runs on a potato. Although it will run on integrated graphics (AMD is better than Intel), a discrete GPU would be better. But pretty much any machine from 2010 on will run it.

  10. Thing is, if I can't see anything I know they can't see anything either, so it makes it extra baffling to me why someone would go out of their way to do it.

  12. 1.) Disney sued a school for showing The Lion King at a charity fundraiser. They are notoriously sue-happy. 2.) It's part of the terms and conditions you agree to when you play the game.
  13. A reduced palette with muted colors would have been a far better way to go.
  14. There's at least one mod that significantly reduces the density of VFX, and when combined with lowering particle count they make most effects barely perceptible. But yeah, I get it. I find myself occasionally on teams with people who thought making their powers neon green or pink was a good choice. It's a choice all right, but not a good one. Now stack two or three of them on top of one another (yes, it's happened) and even with particle count at minimum it was too much. I had to bail. PSA: please don't do this. For the love of all that's holy pick colors that aren't going to burn out people's retinas.
  15. Controllers' inherent is Containment, that doubles most of their damage. Any critter that is affected by an immobilize, sleep, hold, or stun is considered "contained". So establishing Containment on critters as quickly as possible should be your priority. Electric Fence is a single target immobilize while Chain Fences is AoE. I personally don't consider them redundant because in order to contain bosses you need two applications of a status effect, meaning you'll need both.

  17. I guess it depends upon which effects you want protection for. Evasive Maneuvers and Combat Jumping give immobilization protection. Tactics and Steamy Mist have confusion protection. Vengeance gives repel, KB, and fear protection. Faraday Cage has repel, KB, sleep, stun, immobilize, and hold protection. Shadow Fall has fear protection. There are global IOs that give KB protection.
  18. I did on my nigh-unkillable Invul/SS Tank, but otherwise, no.
