  1. You could try -fullscreen 0 tho I have no idea if it'll work.
  2. Excellent! Glad you found a solution. Did you perhaps add -fullscreen to the launcher parameters?
  3. The one unique thing to CoH is that it uses OpenGL. Most other games use DirectX. That may also be playing a role.
  4. I've been doing a bit more digging and I think the problem is your GPU. The 6000 series is far more finicky than the 7-9000 when it comes to AFMF. Unless you can find a way to force the game into genuine fullscreen exclusive I think you're outta luck. The only other suggestion I can give you is to try the Lossless Scaling app (currently on sale in Steam for $4). Also make sure you're not using any kind of overlay programs and have an activated copy of Windows. I'll continue doing some research to see if anyone's found a way to force fullscreen exclusive in Win 11. Someone suggested Steam can do it, but I haven't had a chance to try it yet.
  5. I've tested it on a Tank and Scrapper with Energy Aura. A very solid combo. I liked the Scrapper better than Tank but both were good.
  6. Are you running the game on the main or secondary monitor? Have you tried disconnecting the 2nd monitor? The mystery is why it's working for me and not you.
  7. "Mainly good" = at least something wrong with it. Your words, not mine. And if you read *my* posts from Discord, Closed Beta, and here I expressed a number of concerns along with a few suggestions (of which I'm sure others similarly did too), some of which were implemented. But yeah, overall I think the set plays well. It's gonna still need some tweaks post-launch, but I feel it's in a good enough place for release.
  8. Yeah, the (desktop) part doesn't stay, but like I said earlier, if you see the ability to set the refresh rate you're in fullscreen mode. Borderless window mode is one of the "borderless" options at the bottom of the resolution list. When you have multiple monitors Windows 11 won't allow an application to do fullscreen exclusive, and most DirectX 12 games are also converted, which is why you can move the mouse between screens and can float other windows on top. Why your AMD driver doesn't see it as fullscreen and mine does, I don't have an answer for. I assume you're using the latest drivers? Have you tried temporarily disconnecting the 2nd monitor?
  9. Yes, I have two monitors. I didn't do anything special, exactly as I showed you. Picked the resolution that says "desktop". That's it.
  10. It's been awhile since I tried enabling AFMF, so I gave it a shot and it worked. Got the overlay showing the increased framerate. 🤷‍♂️
  11. If you're able to adjust the refresh rate then you're in fullscreen mode. That being said I've never been able to get FSF to work.
  12. Been putzing around with the set for a few hours on an EA/SM tank. It's fine. Attune flows better than it did last time I played on Experimental, tho I did notice it's lost its up-front damage. Not sure if that's WAI. It took a little bit to find the set's rhythm but once I did it felt good. Two strong single target attacks and 2 large AoEs give it a nice mix of abilities. If I have one criticism to make is that I think the % chance of KD and disorient in Sonic Clap should be bumped up a bit. Too many times I've used it on a large group of critters and not a single one was knocked down or disoriented. Along the same lines is the migraine effect. I really wasn't paying too much attention as to how many critters were actually subjected to it, but it didn't feel like it was a lot. And heck while I'm at it I'll toss in that the sleep in Sandman's Whisper seems really short, especially against higher-level critters. I know all these are secondary effects and aren't going to be all that strong, but since the effects are all different you can't stack them like you can in most sets. In this way it's a lot like Super Strength, but in comparison they feel a lot weaker. Gonna try the set on a SM/EA Scrapper and see how it compares.
  13. So what you're saying is there's something wrong with every power and there nothing about the set you like, LOL. Don't ever change, dude. 😂😂😂
  14. Looks like they do in fact listen to suggestions and feedback.
  15. https://manifest.cohhc.gg/launcher/hcinstall.exe It's the link from the game account page.
  16. I just downloaded the launcher with no issues.
  17. I have yet to play a VEAT soldier. It's the only AT I've never ever played. MMs are pretty rare for me, tho I do have a lvl 50 Merc/Traps I very much enjoy. Defenders are rare too. Can't say I have a favorite AT.
  18. If you mean characters you had before the shutdown, no, you cannot get those characters back.
  19. You're welcome, glad we could help.
  20. Change cc to cce and add the emote after the costume # /Macro "CC0" "optionset ChatBubbleColor1 0$$optionset ChatBubbleColor2 -1$$cce 0 ccpureenergy"
  21. https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Signed_2's_Complement And I gave you the full bind.
  22. You can use the command line to change the word balloon colors. Add the command to your costume change bind and it will change the balloon colors when you change your costume. Text: /OptionSet ChatBubbleColor1 <s2c color> Balloon: /OptionSet ChatBubbleColor2 <s2c color> The tricky part is figuring out the s2c color value for the color you want. But once you do that you should be golden.
  23. Why not use the word balloon color function in options?
