You can check out the CoH Modding tool, see if there are any Sonic sound mods. With a bit of research it's possible to manually replace the sound file in question with something you like or even nothing at all.

Yup, as others have pointed out, Nemesis are largely immune to confuse, and their Vengeance ability makes them difficult to hit on top of it.

I don't remember where I first heard about it, but I signed up for the beta and played for a bit, I'm thinking it was around March or April 2004. I had never played an MMO before so I really did feel lost most of the time, and though I mostly liked the game I stopped playing the beta pretty quickly. I started playing again after it was released, July or August of 2004, but this time I had friends to play with, which made all the difference. It's hard to say what I like the most about the game as I've been playing it for so long it's really like a nice old shoe or pair of jeans. It's gaming comfort food.

This has been an issue since the beginning, and not sure if it's a technical one, but the color white has a pinkish tinge in shaded areas when used on most flat "skin" costume pieces as well as skin color. You can't get a solid white. There are some newer pieces where you can get solid white (Witch Bare/Lace, Tattooed Tank Top, Labeaux, etc), so I'm not sure what the issue is, but it's a long-standing one. And it's just the color white. Every other color looks fine as far as I can tell. For other colors the shading is the correct tonality , but for white it's a pinkish tone instead of greyish. Here you can see that white skin isn't completely white (look at the face and knees) And here you can see upper and lower female skin pieces also aren't true white, with a number of areas where there is a pinkish tone instead of a grey one.

Oh that could be. I jumped from 6.4.1 to 6.6.1, never used 6.5.1.

Yeah, I know how they get those numbers, it's just always been wild to me they're so fractional.

Cross Punch in the Fighting Pool is a decent melee cone (best when taken with both Kick and Boxing), and Air Superiority in the Flight Pool is a decent low level melee attack and soft control. Can one make a melee MM? Sure. Should one? Probably not. KO Blow is in Leviathan Mastery, base dam = 108.8876 (seriously, who comes up with these numbers???)

The only thing I can think of is to create a series of 8 binds, one for each spot on the team, using /team_select X, where X is 1-8. So when someone new joins the team you send the preset message to the team slot they just occupied.

What are you attacking and what level are they relative to you? Some critters are immune/resistant to confuse and the power requires a to-hit check, so it could be missing if you're fighting critters with defense, who can debuff your accuracy, or who are +2 or higher to you.

Close unneeded trays and fill the remaining trays with powers. Problem solved.

Like Peak said, there are only 7 enhancement trays, not 10. I would file a support ticket. Sounds like something's borked on the back end.

AFAIK the supernatural face is the only one. The other thing you can do is an eye aura.

You're the one that brought it up and said what I saw as an incomplete statement. Since I don't know you from the crazy lady that walks up and down my block I only sought to clarify things for you and others who are not well-versed in the intricacies of making oneself stealthy or invisible without taking a power that specifically grants that status. Perhaps in the future you should try not being purposefully obtuse in your statements. An extra 4 words would have saved us from having this lovely tête-a-tête.

But Super Speed on it's own won't give you full invisibility either. Unless you meant to say "Super Speed + Stealth IO". A Stealth IO + Grant Invisibility (empowerment buff) will also make you fully invisible.

You can drop a stealth IO in any of the travel powers. Or one of the Sprints. I will put one in a prestige Sprint for "natural" characters who I don't give a travel power.

Like far too many pool powers the super long recharge kills it for me. Situational at best. Not really worth it IMO unless you have nothing better to take.

You would be surprised how many casual players know nothing about incarnates.

Pretty much anything with an add-in video card will play the game just fine. It is after all 21 years old. Integrated graphics is what will get you. Avoid it if possible. Wifi is fine, the game was designed to run on dial up.
