But again, if it's a game you don't play, don't care about, wish didn't exist, why are they so butthurt all the time about everything? The math ain't mathing.
-
IIRC you can fly thru the course, and with Fly + Hover (or CJ) + Afterburner it's quite easy.
-
For someone who claims to not play much or not really care you certainly have very strong opinions as to how things are done. People who aren't invested don't get their panties in this much of bunch about a game they don't care about and don't play often. Completely ignored everything I said, proving you have no idea how team scheduling works.
-
Clearly you've never worked in a team scheduled environment, paid or otherwise. Being paid has no bearing. If anything, being a volunteer means the amount of work you're able to do is heavily based upon your work and life schedule. Not to mention that so many things are interconnected. Delaying one update can mean 3 others get delayed as well, with the possibility that one or more devs is now currently unavailable due to their aforementioned work/life schedule, which leads to further delays. And when things are perpetually delayed you'll be one of the first ones to start screaming "wHy hAvE tHeIr bEeN nO uPdAtEs iN oVeR A yEaR???" It's incredibly rare for a paid dev team to delay the release of a patch (there needs to be something truly game-breaking). It's incredibly common for paid dev teams to release patches on schedule and adjust later (again, the live dev team did this ALL THE TIME). The reasons for sticking to a schedule for a paid vs volunteer team mays be different, but no less important.

OK. Don't take it then.

This is not how Attune works. It boosts the damage of all your Sonic attacks, not just Strident Echo and Sonic Thrust. In a mystical dreamworld this rant might have been relevant.
-
The thing about Attune that you'll learn as you continue to level up is that as you gain more attacks you'll use it less and less. You rely on it heavily at lower levels simply because you have to. But at higher levels you will find yourself only using it on bosses+ because it's simply not worth the effort on minions and LTs. You will also see this on large teams even at lower levels. Things die so quickly you simply don't need to use Attune on anything lower than a boss. Or for special use cases you outlined like the Sky Raiders. Or Embalmed Vahziloks to prevent them from going boom. Also nice to put on destructible objects and let it tick away the last bit of health while you're safely out of range of the explosion.

One of the few sets that has a different default colors based on the AT. Does anyone know which colors to use to match the default Invul colors on a Tank or Scrapper? I think I've gotten pretty close, but it still looks off, especially Invincibility, which doesn't seem to fade when you use custom colors. And I can't seem to get even close on Unstoppable.

Clearly it is for some people. 🤷♂️

They freely admitted they wanted to get this patch out before the holidays, so yeah, there are a few things that were rushed to meet that deadline that will be fixed later. Y'all act like the live devs never did this. They in fact did it all the time because like every other dev team in existence things are planned on a schedule that needs to be adhered to.

I was doing some Oro missions last night at -1x1 and critter levels were as expected. 🤷♂️

MiDs continues it's years long downhill slide
Captain Fabulous replied to Snarky's topic in General Discussion
I just opened Mids, it said there was an update, I said yes and it updated with no issues. 🤷♂️ -
But did you change to a different mission on the affected character and actually enter/complete that second mission? Can you drop the timed mission and take it again?
-
Sometimes choosing a different mission and entering it will reset the first one. You could also try dropping it if you have that option.
-
Yes. The client has a limit as to how fast a character can move. This is why powers like Shield Charge had to be teleports instead of moving you very fast, because the client would break.

Speed caps were increased not all that long ago. Fly is slower because it has increased functionality as a tradeoff. Afterburner is designed to be a short duration boost. Y'know, like the afterburner on a jet. Afterburner and Evasive Maneuvers (along with their PB counterparts) increase the flight speed cap. The Jump and Steam packs available for free from the START vendor also significantly boost flight speeds and can be stacked with Afterburner. PBs and WSs have always been a jack of all trades, master of none AT. But they're still fun to play. Stealth IOs, while not full invisibility, make it easy to cruise thru missions. At one time the cap on Superspeed was set because it was the fastest speed the client could reliably handle. Still might be the case.

The NoXP option is available as a command line switch so you can bind it to a key or make macros to quickly turn XP on and off without having to go into the options screen. Not the exact solution you're looking for but at least it makes it a bit easier. To turn off XP: /option_set NoXP 1 To turn it back on: /option_set NoXP 0
