1. This will probably never happen but one can dream
2. No io is expensive or difficult to get. under the merit system, you can earn enough merits to buy any io in about an hour.
3. Other AT's have crit its just named something else. Containment, scourge, domination. Its not impossible just difficult.
i like this. more legendaries!
+10% accuracy
+10% Movement speed
+25% regeneration
+15% Endurance recovery
+10% Recharge Rate (global)
+2 Magnitude status protection
+25% Debuff Resistance
+10% Chance to crit (may only occur once every 30 seconds)
some of these ideas are interesting and some are strange however one of the things i like about EM (& DM) is its simplicity. You punch then punch and punch some more if the enemy gets up you punch again. If i want combos theres power sets for that. If i wanna shoot stuff theres power sets for that. Sometime i just wanna punch stuff. Im not saying complexity cant be interesting im just saying theres an old saying. Simple is better
i apologize if it seemed like i was berating; but with limited staff and resources it just seems like the simpler solution is more realistic than wide scale sweeping changes to an under-performing powerset.
oh yeah id love more options also can we have additional animations for beast run and ninja run. Maybe crab walking and both arms trailing behind (like naruto) instead of the dab thingy?
im gonna play the card occam's razor.
you solution, Change the entire dynamic of how energy melee works + a mechanic that doesnt yet exist
OR
reducing the cast time on 1 or more abilities
both ideas would make the the set more viable than its current incarnation but which one would be easier to implement?
another problem with oro is you are locked in with whomever your did or did not start the arc with some missions are overwhelmingly difficult for some classes. So if you do need help you cannot invite someone to aid you once its already in progress.
voluntarily skipped? u do realize there is more pre 50 content than you could ever do before hitting 50. The only way to do it all is to turn XP off which wasnt an option live. In the end its about options you wanna do low level content and be low level thats fine we arent saying get rid of that all we want is the option to do the same content at whatever level we happen to be at the time.
there are already other versions of COH where you do not outlevel missions and the enemy levels do scale with you. So it is possible. I dont care about the rewards tbh i just dont like feeling gimped.
how would this work, some chars are never low on health like regen and willpower also some AT's like the stalker dont get access to the EM aoe power at all. Your suggestions while viable dont work for all AT's that have access to EM. the shtick of EM is its supposed to be a single target monster. It difficult to do that when the cast times are so egregious. Realistically its simpler to just reduce the cast times on EM and this will positively affect all AT's.
holy crap i can rebuild my kheldian
gentlemen we can rebuild him
we have the technology
we can make him better than he was before
better stronger faster
it is with great sadness i disagree, majority of LFG is full of people advertising DFB or AE this doesn't indicate a small portion of the population.
the click powers that you believe should be toggles are built that way for a number of reasons
1. some people prefer clicks over toggles this is a preference issue
2. click style powers can be stacked while toggles cannot
3. toggles can be knocked off, click powers cannot
this doesnt make them superior just different, i also prefer toggles but i understand that some people dont.
HOWEVER; that being said i do find that a lot of new power systems require paying a large amount of attention to your powers bar. while they may be fun and innovative this makes for a less immersive experience. perhaps a new indicator could be created to show when a power is about to expire for example your char blinking or a 5 second countdown number over their head? so that we can spend more time fighting and less time looking at our powertray
for number 2 you just described the phasing carnie foe.
for number 3 a debuffing foe sounds interesting but debuff effect would have to ignore defense or it would be unfair to resist chars
for number 6 so it leeches health from you like a vampire and its % per hit? finally a foe for regen/willpower lol
