  1. This is really not a bug just incorrect text. In the Character Creation screen, Blaster>Ice Manipulation>Frozen Aura still says it "deals no significant damage", even though the numbers correctly show that to no longer be the case.
  2. Thanks. Those look more meaningful to me and nicely demonstrate why Sents currently lag behind and why some reasonable buffs such as some of those that have been suggested would not make them OP nor make Blasters obsolete.
  3. There seem to be a lot of players who feel that inherent powers need to provide some sort of a mini game that you play when you’re playing that archetype. I personally don’t think that that is necessary.
  4. First off, don’t include corrupters. The time it takes for them to cast their buffs, and the variety of buff they have, makes it very difficult to include them. Just leave them out. Compare to scrappers, stalkers, and blasters. Include aim and build up. Do not include the Debuffs from opportunity since those would also increase the damage of scrappers, stalkers and blasters on the team. Include however, a separate number that goes next to the sentinels damage number, that is the cumulative amount more that the scrapper the stalker the blaster and the Sentinel combined get as a result of the sentinels debuffs. That will give you a more accurate idea of what the archetype brings to the team.
  5. What you have done here is compare solo damage. Well that is not relevant to the discussion. Solo performance of sentinels is fine. It’s team performance that we need to look at.
  6. You also get inaccuracies by including Sentinel debuffs but not including buildup on the classes that get it. With all of these, corruptor buffs, build up, etc., the Sentinel falls further and further behind.
  7. It is incorrect to include the sentinels Debuff but not to include corruptor Debuffs. It is also incorrect to include the Sentinel debuff on the Sentinel’s damage but not on everybody else’s damage. Debuffs apply to everybody on the team, so it is incorrect to include it in the sentinels DPS but not in everybody else’s.
  8. I don't want the Support element removed and I am not opposed to it being strengthened. But I feel strongly the damage should ALSO come up or else the basic problem will not be solved.
  9. It shouldn't if it's done right. Again, Stalkers, Scrappers, and Blasters (the other three ATs that really don't contribute anything besides damage) don't all do identical damage but they all do sufficient damage. I see absolutely no reason Sentinels can't also fit into that sweet spot. Blaster>Stalker>Scrapper>Sentinel (with a little overlap here and there) does NOT have to mean that Sentinels are so much lower that they suck, nor does it have to mean that Blasters are outclassed.

If you get kicked for using Hurricane either you are using it wrong and deserve to be kicked (or preferably taught how to use it right) or your teammates are jerks and you don’t want to be on that team anyway. Hurricane is an excellent power as is if you use it effectively. If you scatter groups with it that’s your fault. It doesn’t need to be changed just so people don’t have to learn to use it properly.
  11. And cuts the debuff like in half, at least...But I think that would be a first for there to be an IO that is only for one power. I don’t think there’s any such thing as that in the game yet. Even Sniper sets can go in All sniper attacks.
  12. I think it would be better to fix it using the word “where”. This is the warehouse WHERE Arachnos is storing the gold doubloons they uncovered.

  14. That's part of the original purpose of the power. It protects you by making enemies run away and therefore not hit you in melee. With Slows, Immobilize, Holds, and Knockdown, you can leverage the damage. I think there are some AoE immobilizes in the Epic sets for Blasters...
  15. The ToHit buff is WAY TOO powerful too allow it without the repel effect. If you removed the repel they would also nerf the debuff. Take a look at the similar Time power, it is no where near as powerful.
  16. Yea, its description is poorly worded, you’re right. That is, however, the same way Invincibility works, so not that surprising.
  17. There are no No Redraw options for Tactical Arrow Upshot and Oil Slick Arrow (or Eagle Eye or Gymnastics, but those don't really matter). Could they be added (or fixed if it was an error)?

  20. It is ALMOST ALWAYS kneejerk complaining. After ONE fight where absolutely nothing went wrong whatsoever. People who don't like knockback should just not run teams. Or better yet, delete their accounts.

  23. The thing that makes the power of the buff/debuff sets acceptable is the time it takes to cast them. If you gave Sentinel Support power anywhere close to a corruptor but without the cast times then why would anyone play Corruptor? Again, I think the superior path is to increase its capability as a damage dealer, not as a support toon.
  24. Something like this could only work if the stacks also reset whenever you crit.
  25. Well, first off I apologize. I’ve been in a very weird mood all day, it’s a weird day in the United States. Also, in both cases my comment, nonsense, rubbish, was only intended towards one specific part of your posts and I did not clarify that, so again I apologize. I guess it is in theory possible to create a balanced archetype that is sort of a Jack of all trades, but I personally don’t think it’s the way to go. I think armored short range damage dealer is a fine idea and is what they are now. Instead of changing them radically, make them better at their Primary function, doing damage.
