  1. I think at the time I made the guide either RV was level locked or I just didn't know about it yet. You are absolutely right, and RV is indeed mostly how I get the portal these days. I'll be editing the guide sometime soon when I feel like making the time.
  2. I wouldn't complain if many KB powers were turned to KU instead, Storm, PB, Energy, and more! There might have to be some exceptions for certain abilities meant to be positioning tools, but that's only a few specific powers I think.
  3. This is why I think modifying Power Push into some kind of utility to minimize KB problems is a good way to go. Those who like the set as it is don't currently take Power Push (almost no one does), so changing it won't affect them, but it will give an option for those who do. Most other powersets combos only have a couple of KB powers and can use KB>KD enhancements if they want. PBs are just SOL. 😕 More of their powers should probably be KD by default.
  4. That would be cool. I just figured, to kill two birds with one stone, it should be Power Push that gets the Axe Cyclone treatment, in order to make it a desirable pick. Call it Power Pull, or call it Energy Vortex. It could just be a location based field, or I thought maybe make it react to your other powers. While Energy Vortex (a tag on the target of your Power Push that lasts, let's say, 20 seconds) is active, all your Energy Blast attacks cause nearby enemies to be pulled toward the target of the Vortex INSTEAD of their regular KB effects.
  5. Power Push should be redesigned to do that in some way, which I've suggested before. Wouldn't help Peacebringers, Storm Summoners, or anyone else though.
  6. Not even remotely comparable.
  7. It's really not necessary to put it in the single target attacks.
  8. It's obviously a big increase, that's why people do it. It's true a bit for Energy Blasters, but not everything is about Energy Blasters. Adding KB>KD to Lightning Storm or Bonfire are both CLEARLY big DPS increases. Everyone knows this, that's WHY people slot those. If this was really the case then what is everyone complaining about? Why does this thread even exist?
  9. I'm not entirely sure, but on the off chance you aren't just trolling me. The reason teams want you to add KB>KD enhancements is because NOT having them slows down the speed of killing, aka decreases DPS. Therefore adding them is a DPS increase. If adding them was NOT a DPS increase, people wouldn't care.
  10. The power is using the mobs to strengthen you. That is something done to them. That's why it alerts. The fact there is no debuff, control, or damage is irrelevant.
  11. That's a power that you have to take, and a power pool slot, and it requires two previous picks to unlock it. These are clear opportunity costs. And you're suggesting that KB>KD should have NO opportunity cost? Sorry, try again.
  12. We already have KD>KB enhancements. They're called Knockback Enhancements. As for the suggestion, the answer is always going to be no. Adding KB>KD is, in most cases, a DPS increase. Therefore it should require sacrificing a slot. Also, a better solution for the game is to make KB more desirable, not make it easier to ignore.
  13. You misunderstand. Not a defense power, a Teleport power. Only this one Nukes and teleports you away (if you want).
  14. An idea that popped into my head is some sort of Lucky Blast set, could have guns, and the t9 could be Narrow Escape, you dodge out of the way just in the nick of time.
  15. I don't have the concept for the set, but mechanically speaking: A Location based Tele-nuke that does its PBAoE damage at the location you are when you set it off, instead of the location you arrive at. Seems like something worth having in at least ONE set, no?
  16. Ok, thanks, I see what you're saying now. So my response would be, in the same way that the Double XP booster requires you give up Influence gain, this option would also come with a sacrifice. If this option was enabled, there would be some kind of internal cooldown so that your inspiration drops were limited to something closer to normal solo levels (like x2 or 3 at best) Would that fix the problem?
  17. How so?? The number of inspirations you get would be unchanged. This is literally no different from if you just hit each inspir when they drop.
  18. What? That doesn't make any sense at all. It wouldn't increase the number of inspiration drops. Nor would they last longer than previously. The level of power you can get from inspirations would literally be unchanged. I feel like you are imagining some change as part of this that I did not suggest.
  19. I honestly don't see what makes it overpowered. The claim has been made a couple times here, but I don't think a real argument has been put forth supporting the claim. It literally doesn't let you do something you can't already do. What makes it so overpowered?
  20. That's not bad, thanks.
  21. This wouldn't actually increase anything about them at all. Just a QoL change, really. How would you feel if the option was ONLY allowed for Small Inspirations?
  22. Personally, if these options were implemented, I would only enable the first one, to auto consume Small Inspirations. I would still combine medium and large ones to get the ones I want, but small ones I wouldn't have to deal with and would simply get cast on me in the moment. I don't want to forego their buffs entirely, but I don't care enough about them to save them up. I'd rather just get them randomly and use them immediately without having to do it manually. Heck, if the option was ONLY for Small Inspirations, that would be good enough for me, but I figured some other folks might want it for Medium and Large ones as well.
  23. It would apply to ALL inspirations of the size in question, and it would happen automatically when the inspiration drops.
  24. This would probably be an unlock at the START vendor alongside the other inspiration options. It would only apply to normal inspirations, not Team Inspirations, Dual Inspirations or any Special Inspirations. I imagine it probably wouldn't cause an Awaken in your tray to be automatically consumed when defeated, but I suppose it could. The options would be: Automatically consume Small Inspirations. Automatically consume Medium Inspirations. Automatically consume Large Inspirations. You could have any and all of the options selected, so it's totally optional and customizable.
  25. I think it's the same as anything else: we have a tiny, volunteer dev team. They can't work on everything at once, and getting two more Power Pools into the game isn't as important as new Primary and Secondary power sets, new content, and modernizing the back end. I want them too, but I trust the devs to make their own priority lists.
