  1. If it's happening with no Whitecap and no Commando, then I guess it's possible that Tide Pool CAN stack with itself, which is weird. Maybe when Shoal Rush was given the ability to proc Frenzy something went wonky?
  2. Shoal Rush does not do knock down. Shoal Rush makes Tide Pool go into Frenzy, which increases the chance for Tide Pool to knock down. But like ALL knock downs in the game, if it happens at the same time as Whitecap or as a knock down from the Commando, then they can stack. But Shoal Rush itself does not do knock down, so far as I know. I don't THINK Tide Pool can stack with itself. So I suspect you're either seeing it from Commando or Whitecap stacking with Tide Pool. This is the combo I've been playing recently and I do see things go flying from time to time. Not with all that much frequency though. And it all dies so fast, I don't really care.
  3. What I've been finding is that if I drop Tide Pool from range and then Whitecap to get into melee, my Mercs run to join me in melee before aggroing to the mobs. So I just leave Shifting Tides on the Commando all the time and I don't generally have trouble. GoTo if absolutely necessary, but don't forget to hit Follow again after that fight or they will just stay there and you'll die when you go in on the next fight and they didn't come with.
  4. Not really sure why this isn't the case EVERYWHERE. And for player PETS too, please.
  5. There's an erroneous assumption that if Whitecap did not teleport the caster it would be a RANGED ability. Far more likely, if it didn't teleport, it would simply be PBAoE, making you go to melee ANYWAY.
  6. Because the animation of one power sometimes not working right is not a reason to delay the release of the patch or the powerset.

This is the answer. Teleport powers don't work on such objects for exactly that reason. Only workaround is to cast it on a mob near the object. Not the answer any of us wanted.
  8. Tide Pool is not always animating correctly. Generally speaking it animates correctly the first time you cast it, but then on subsequent casting you must wait about 30 seconds to cast it or it will not use any casting animation. Sometimes, if casting it while in "combat" stance, it will project water from the hand, but include no character animation ("talk to the hand").
  9. I checked this. The power DOES have an animation, but it only sometimes plays. It uses the "speak to the hand" animation, aka "stop in the name of love". It seems to only play if you wait about 30 seconds between castings. It ALSO seems to not play correctly (water from the hand, but no motion) if you are in "combat" stance when you hit it. Who's in charge of animations?
  10. And since Toroidal Bubble boosts Jumping, and the area buffs and debuffs are NOT PBAoE toggles, the set is well suited to this "in and out" playstyle.
  11. It's the most boring level 1 power in the game. Easy skip for me every time. Single target -Def, Slow, in a set with Sleet and Snowstorm? Basically worthless.
  12. Yea, I don't build like that. If a power is useless without procs then I don't want that power.
  13. It is like AoE Infrigidate and I find Infridgidate boring and skippable. I guess it's great as a proc bomb?
  14. Although I really like all the recent Marine adjustments, I still feel like Shoal Rush is a power with three secondary effects and no primary effect. Maybe if it also knocked down enemies it struck?
  15. With Barrier Reef and as much +Offense as the set has, mez resist seems like it might be overkill.
  16. Maybe some mez resistance on Power of the Depths.
  17. The Dominator version of Savage Leap also requires a target.
  18. There are plenty of "generic" sets already. A couple specific sets is fine.
  19. Absolutely a worthy task. I've MANY times wished I had something like this, so your work is appreciated for sure.
  20. Really cool idea, but not quite complete. For example, there are 50+ Rikti in the RWZ, in the far north. Dunno if there are any other exceptions.
  21. Mostly looks ok, but missing Aim and Build Up, and Power Push doesn't do damage.
  22. But the very fact that it would require a mechanical reason just indicates people DIDN'T actually want to play redside. They simply HAD to do so in order to play those classes.
  23. I don't think there's anything at all that can change the fact that more people want to pretend to be heroes than want to pretend to be villains.
