  1. To each their own. I love the hami raid. It’s one of my favorite encounters in the game. I was on justice server back in the day and we raided hamidon all the time. I don’t see any reason though why it should affect anybody else on the server who isn’t playing the raid.
  2. Personally, I agree that a small amount of protection from Hold, Stun, and Sleep in the level 1 passive is a pretty reasonable ask (compare to Arachnos Soldiers, which aren't even supposed to be a tank class).
  3. No it doesn't.
  4. You get light form.
  5. Well, there's only one, right, Inky Aspect. EDIT: oops, my bad, 2. Inky and Orbiting Death. I dunno. I kinda think Warshades are going to want at least Orbiting Death to suppress. Maybe Inky is ok detoggling.
  6. The solution, whatever it is, has to help scrappers do what they do best. A gap closer does that. Further blurring the lines between scrappers and brutes by giving scrappers more taunting ability does not. People are not going to take it if it’s just a taunt. Scrappers don’t need taunt.
  7. How about this: Confront stays the same as it is but when you use it a popup tray appears with a power called Into the Fray, which then lets you teleport directly to the mob you just taunted. Confront remains on its short cooldown and is still a pull, but Into the Fray is available only on a much longer cooldown which cannot be reduced with recharge buffs.
  8. So, I've been playing both my WS (triform) and my PB (human only) a lot more recently and I decided I was wrong about this whole thing. Here's how I see it now: Toggle suppression: necessary. Damage cap increase: nice to have, but not essential. Taunt aura/non dwarf punchvoke: not necessary.
  9. @SwitchFade You said no. I accept that you don't like my idea. What more "listening to feedback" do you expect than that?
  10. Maybe that was poor forums practice. If so, I apologize, I don't have that much experience with online message boards.
  11. To be clear I started that thread myself. I had no thoughts of how to improve the power. I sought other people's input. After getting that input in the previous thread, I made a separate thread with My suggestion.
  12. If you don't like my idea that's fine. But I'm going to stop responding to any further comments that don't like the idea unless they supply suggestions of their own.
  13. But I do know what I'd fix, a fix Does need to be made as has been demonstrated, and the power is currently worthless.
  14. You don't have to like the idea. I still think it is the best idea that has so far been presented.
  15. @SwitchFade Maybe you weren't in the discussions that have already taken place. There is widespread agreement, with numbers that I have linked you to to back it up, that Confront is not worth taking. I don't need to convince you personally. That work is done. So again, please supply your suggestion for how to fix the power or just let it go.
  16. A ton of people do think it needs to be changed. Again, look here: https://forums.homecomingservers.com/fotm-powers/ Almost literally no one takes the power. If you can't accept that evidence then I don't know what to tell you.
  17. That's a separate issue. We can do both.
  18. https://forums.homecomingservers.com/fotm-powers/
  19. I am not trying to buff either specific sets OR scrappers as a whole. I am just trying to make Confront worth taking. I'm not going to continue arguing as to why that is necessary. The devs have already done that.
  20. I'm happy to hear other suggestions of how to fix Confront. But there are real limitations. There is no indication that Scrappers as a whole need either Offensive or Defensive buffs. Certain sets could use help, sure, but that's not what this is about. Any suggestion of how to fix Confront must: A) not improve Scrapper Defensive or Offensive performance directly B) retain the basic concept of singling out an enemy (but need not necessarily remain a Pull ability) C) make the power generally attractive to take for every Scrapper, but not so important that it becomes must have Leaving it as is is NOT an option, as right now Scrappers essentially only get 8 powers in their primary.
  21. If you were right then people wouldn't complain about Follow not taking them to melee while hovering. A button that takes you directly to melee is Fun, first off. Second, it would sometimes help when in Slow or -Jump patches. But mostly, no Confront has no purpose. It is literally the least chosen power in the entire game.
  22. Again, I would love to hear some suggestion. Any suggestion. We have been over and over it in other threads and this is the Only suggestion made so far that adds neither offense nor survivability but does add Something of value.
  23. my suggestion gives them: A: a real gap closer that puts them in melee with their target even if you the player haven't visually located that target B: a gap closer in their own sets, not a power pool
