  1. Interesting. Ok, I guess so.
  2. It should not have ever worked on PA if I understand correctly. PA is supposed to be unbuffable.
  3. Look the point is that this game is not in Beta. This is a long established game. The devs should only be making changes as strictly necessary, big changes that affect game balance or quality of life for whole archetypes. This just does not qualify. This is not a change that is worth making.
  4. Dark Servant is a pet. Voltaic Sentinel is a pseudopet. At least that's how I understand it. DS can be buffed and healed, and damaged. VS cannot.
  5. This is an example of bad play, not bad design. You know that your power has a chance to knockback enemies, so you should not aim in the direction of the cliff. Knockback is just about the only effect in the game (Repel also) that requires actual player skill (barely). That's not an argument for or against, just an observation.
  6. Proc on the pet for regular MM and Dom and Troller pets, and in pseudopets it should simply do nothing at all or should proc on the caster?
  7. I didn't misread. You said you liked the suggestion and then went on a rant about how the devs can decide what they want to do, and supported it with a nonsensical argument about one thing not taking time away from another. Maybe you didn't communicate what you meant to, but that's not on me.
  8. Meaning the new behavior is wrong.
  9. Imps and Haunt, and other Controller or Dom pets, are not "pseudopets" the way Tornado, Freezing Rain, etc are. I THINK (have not tested) that the proc SHOULD be buffing the damage of real pets like Imps, Spiderlings, and so forth.
  10. No, that is not the point at all. It doesn't matter WHAT they are specifically working on. The point is if they work on X then they can't also work on Y because resources are devoted to X. You are being deliberately obtuse.
  11. Neither Tornado nor Voltaic Sentinel could ever have their damage buffed afaik. Not sure about the others.
  12. In this particular case I have persistent icons from both my own attacks and enemy attacks.
  13. Dude, you don’t get to just pretend you didn’t say what you said: “while its is fact that our dev team is all volunteer, this does not mean that a change like this going to take time away from new ATs or new powersets. ” You said that. I didn’t take it out of context. There isn’t anything snipped away that makes it mean something else. You said this. And fundamentally you are wrong.
  14. You’re the one engaging in magical thinking that one thing doesn’t take time from another, an indisputable fact of basic physics.
  15. And fundamentally you are wrong about this statement. Absolutely spending time doing one thing means not spending time doing another thing. Period.
  16. This statement applies to you. You have no clue what takes any time away from anything else and none of your statements about it need be taken with any seriousness at all because of that fact.
  17. At which point I leave the team and put the team leader on my block list. This game is so incredibly easy and for anybody to take it so seriously that they block people for using knockback powers in a way they don’t like is Incredibly immature and self centered. It is not a reasonable reaction. It is an over reaction.
  18. Yes, absolutely it does. I’m not gonna take time to argue this to explain it to you because it’s plainly obvious. “ it did not OMGCHANGETHEWHOLEGAME” I don’t think you really understand the relative significance of the changes being discussed.
  19. Ok, here's an attempt. I would prefer to keep this selection of powers, but if anyone has any suggestions for better slottings I'm all ears. In particular if there was a way to get more recharge into Nova, but it's not too bad as is. 20. nevermind, PvP effects was clicked on by accident
  21. Knockback already does scale with archetype to the extent it needs to which is simply that there are buff and control sets with strong knock down and knock back abilities such as storm summoning, force field, and more.
  22. I really hope the Homecoming team is not sacrificing their personal lives, family lives, to get so much work done so quickly on CoH. But thank you!
  23. I just noticed Mids is showing Tough giving my Blaster Res to ALL.
  24. Regardless of whether you're right or not, you come across as a self righteous jerk when you say stuff like this.
  25. My main goal is to free up slots to get -KB into my AoEs while keeping overall self defense around the same or better. BTW, those examples you posted are both Energy with Electricity.
