The idea that I should have to Rest to use this temp power, when I don't have to rest in 99% of my actual missions, is exactly the point. It's a ridiculously high end cost.
I was running 3xLeadership + Arctic Fog. No Sprint, Ninja Run, nothing. I have Stamina with 3 SOs.
I used NO other powers and it still ran me out of end. It's an absurdly high cost.
The cost of the power is so high that on my MM I had to turn off my toggles so it wouldn't run me out of end half way through the mission. That's ridiculous.

Like I said from the start, I don't really expect any of this to happen. Unlike disallowing Power Boost from working on Farsight, which I completely expect to happen.

Yea, it does. And I expect it will eventually happen. Repel, Detention Field/Sonic Cage, a couple other powers here and there, will almost certainly get improved at some point by the HC team.
Again, part of the goal is explicitly to justify nerfing FS.
But like I said, I don't expect this to happen. More like a suggestion of what SHOULD have been done from the start.

The goal is to distribute power more evenly across the set so it is less dependent on FS. Also, to give it slightly more defensive capability, but not much.
Ok, how about this:
What if instead of my above suggestion it was:
Take some of the +Dam out of FS
Add a similar amount of +Dam to IR, along with a little +Def?
So keep the +Dam of the set nearly the same, but have some more of it come earlier.
