Warshade bind/macro question: I'm trying to create a bind (or if impossible as a bind then a macro) that will on first press target the nearest enemy corpse, if Unchain is recharged immediately (or on second press if necessary) blow it up, and on subsequent keypresses summon a pet if Extraction is recharged, and if Unchain is not recharged immediately summon a pet.
The bind I currently have is not quite working properly:
/bind g "+$$target_custom_near defeated enemy$$powexec_name Dark Extraction$$powexec_name Unchain Essence"
Anyone know how to do this or something like this?
Honestly, no, they should all stay on. Shapeshifting should not even remotely comparable to a self mez. Offensive toggles get turned off because you're mezzed. Shapeshifting for Kheldians (and ONLY for Kheldians, no Halloween costume toggle suppression) should probably include both Inky Aspect and Orbiting Death.
It used to drain almost all of your health and endurance. By comparison the current crash is very minor and easily dealt with with your powers. Calling it a huge crash is very silly.
To each their own. I love the hami raid. It’s one of my favorite encounters in the game. I was on justice server back in the day and we raided hamidon all the time.
I don’t see any reason though why it should affect anybody else on the server who isn’t playing the raid.
Personally, I agree that a small amount of protection from Hold, Stun, and Sleep in the level 1 passive is a pretty reasonable ask (compare to Arachnos Soldiers, which aren't even supposed to be a tank class).
Well, there's only one, right, Inky Aspect.
EDIT: oops, my bad, 2. Inky and Orbiting Death. I dunno. I kinda think Warshades are going to want at least Orbiting Death to suppress. Maybe Inky is ok detoggling.
The solution, whatever it is, has to help scrappers do what they do best.
A gap closer does that.
Further blurring the lines between scrappers and brutes by giving scrappers more taunting ability does not.
People are not going to take it if it’s just a taunt. Scrappers don’t need taunt.
How about this:
Confront stays the same as it is but when you use it a popup tray appears with a power called Into the Fray, which then lets you teleport directly to the mob you just taunted. Confront remains on its short cooldown and is still a pull, but Into the Fray is available only on a much longer cooldown which cannot be reduced with recharge buffs.
So, I've been playing both my WS (triform) and my PB (human only) a lot more recently and I decided I was wrong about this whole thing.
Here's how I see it now:
Toggle suppression: necessary.
Damage cap increase: nice to have, but not essential.
Taunt aura/non dwarf punchvoke: not necessary.
To be clear I started that thread myself.
I had no thoughts of how to improve the power. I sought other people's input. After getting that input in the previous thread, I made a separate thread with My suggestion.
If you don't like my idea that's fine. But I'm going to stop responding to any further comments that don't like the idea unless they supply suggestions of their own.
