  1. And you can't kill them either. 😏
  2. You could name a character via the original OG version which inspired Barbie. And yes, the original was a high-end call girl. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bild_Lilli_doll
  3. S/L will be easier to get to cap. Melee on my Brute is 35% as where S/L/E are capped. For WP, you also want +HP and Regen.
  4. Much like the movie, I can't be made to care. Refresh is about as close as I would get.
  5. I would easily double my value if I factored in builds which are done or enhancements which are on hand.
  6. I don't know about Discord, but as someone who runs a board gaming group for the past 11 years, you would be surprised how wrong the perception is that women don't play games.
  7. I've only done 1 costume content on Homecoming and got third. As soon as I saw another person I knew I wasn't winning, but for the person who got first I'll never understand them even placing.
  8. In all honestly, the biggest advantage of Discord is being able to access numerous different groups beyond the Homecoming community in a single website.
  9. I just wished the AoEs were bigger. They are the smallest of any set. That fact really stands out on a Tank.
  10. I ran my current main, Claws/ea Scrapper, last night and did a few missions solo(+3/x8). I think just from the mobs I gained around 10 mill.
  11. See Arbegla's response above. I ran /traps MM on live. So you put down less stuff down on each mob. It really isn't that big of a deal. In the current meta, there pretty much isn't a build which on the right team you can't go half-speed and feel like it is fine or even hell just standing around and soaking up the rewards. I've played various builds with TA in them and had whole missions if I shot two arrows I was done with the powerset for that mob. In terms of moving between mobs, I am to a default the first one there to the next mob, so I see little reason why even as a MM I or anyone else would be lagging behind if they play it right.
  12. It might have been more than one person, but there were four identical characters on my team with what looked like three of them spouting out gibberish. Typically it was one of them saying the keyword they had in their names.
  13. Unless something is said in LFG, I'm essentially oblivious to it as all my characters have a single tab for it. Fun fact. I played with someone yesterday who by all accounts was running four characters as they all had the same keyword in their name. It felt like they were spitting out gibberish outside of the one when they mentioned how much they like using their AI speech tool. Thankfully it was just a DFB, and I left after it was complete. Needless to say I didn't get the badge for killing the AV before the rest of the mobs.
  14. With many sets yet to play, I find Croax's ranking rather accurate and a good place to start for those looking at making a genuine S tier Stalker.
  15. It's in the running since it offers -Res. I will just point out Beam has some -Res and -Regen. I think it's easier to find primaries which are lacking versus ones which are 'the best.' I'm honestly surprised Time hasn't been mentioned.
  16. I logged onto that character today, and they had over 10 mill.
  17. Good thing the OP is looking at soloing.
  18. Already a thread here.
  19. I've talked myself out of looking into helping with the backend for the Market more times than I want to count. I get paid to deal with enough stupid code that doubling down on stupid code on a volunteer basis just isn't that alluring. And yes, I mean I deal with stupid code. I have literally seen a comment saying that 'bad code follows below,' or there is a section of code which validates something and the comment is 'in case something stupid happens.'
  20. I would add BP, Longbow, and Arachnos. In certain setups, they can give various builds all sorts of issues. I am talking about soloing on some level of x8, but I have done Arachnos missions where end was an issue and I was /stone. BP can handle a WP character their butt in breathtaking order.
  21. I was thinking how cool of an arc would be if there was a dragon who could shapeshift and was the one selling and buying the stuff from heroes. "Man, they always got such great stuff."
  22. 1. CoT maps. Most likely to make me go, "So where the hell are they?" or "How do I navigate this thing?" 2. Cave maps. Because apparently making an underground fortress has to have the smallest tunnels. 3. Arachnos. I have no ideal who thought that's what a base should look like. They're so evil even they don't like them. There is a red side mission where you go in a cave which has actual spider webs and such in it, and I'm like, "Where the hell has this layout been?" Office and warehouse maps aren't even great, but they are so above the rest it is almost like taking a breath just to see one.
  23. There's no lack of guides and conversations in the Market forum. I have at times openly posted outside of the Market forum how I can take a newly made character and set myself up for my first billion using that character alone. The literal best answer I can give for a starting point in terms of generating currency in other MMOs is to first hit max level. In case anyone needs it. Pick a number 0-99. I like using the year I was born. Lets say 75. Create a character. Put them though the tutorial. Don't use the Inspirs. Exit the tutorial. Sell the Inspirs on the Market for 5 currency. Take your new coin and start putting bids on common salvage at 75 a pop. By all means do stacks of them. Go play the game. Hit up Posi I and II and Synapse at some point. Sell those stacks to the Vendor. Rinse and repeat until let's say around 90k*. Put 87k-90k bids on common IO recipes for Acc and Damage. Again, do stacks when you can. Sell them to Vendors. Once you hit 1.5k*, start putting bids on Level 41 Red Fortunes and their salvage. Take your Merits and convert them to Enhancement Converters. Craft and convert to another Defense set using 2 Enhancement Converters since Enhancement Converters have to convert to a rare Defense set in this specific instance. Sell the Reactive Defenses for 1,999,975* unless it is the Scaling Damage one. Add a mill or 2* on that one. Sell Luck of the Gamblers for 3,999,975* unless it is the +Recharge one. Those are 5,999,975*. Rinse, repeat, sell stacks. That's literally how I do it and one of many ways I have done it. Converting purples is another. So yes, it is trivial even without farming and no real resources. Sure, prices on the market for certain items can go crazy at times. That's why you watch it over time. Hell, the last 5 don't even display correctly on a consistent level. They can literally be displaying prices for the wrong item. In a different well known MMO I have played. it took me two weeks to gain a single gold. Now I can pound out 2-4 gold on a daily basis on the casual if I want to solely because I hit max level. You want that really awesome mount? Well, its starting point is 250 gold. Oh, you want to buy a legendary item? (chuckles) Oh, go on. Go craft it instead. There's nothing like time gated crafting so a single item in a list of them can take 7 days to craft. You want a new character? Well, if you earn enough gold you can convert that to gems so you can spent the hundreds of gems to unlock a single character slot. I played that MMO for months, and I can say I never want to hear about the problem with currency in CoH because this game doesn't even know what a true grind really is. * Prices may vary.
