  1. A slower but hefty attack set like War Mace might be easier since it will offer less clicking. The only con there is you would want to lean on a Primary with +recharge.
  2. Stalkers getting /stone pretty much got rid of the argument for certain ATs logically not having certain powersets. StJ feels like a 'fixed' version of SS. Also, if Scrappers got SS, Stalkers should as well, and lordy FS while Hidden and Stalker ATOs.
  3. Outside of theme, Power Sink + Short Circuit is a good way to drain a mob so there is synergy in the pairing as well.

    No love

There have been times where I wanted to just say what level I was and leave it at that. HC is so neutral to any specific AT I just have accepted unless specifically stated, your AT doesn't matter. If someone says level doesn't matter, just send a tell asking for an invite.
  5. Two PBAoEs, no self heal, and no +end. You can proc Health and Stamina to get some HP back, but that's also partly impacting how much end you recover and the two PBAoEs are going to push you to want a lot.
  6. This is very dependent on who you are fighting. I do believe it was Nosferatu who humbled one of the better builds.
  7. One of the fastest to faceplant situations I have seen was on one of my /fire brutes, and they weren't using a farming build. I base this off of any map and as high of a diff setting as I can deal with solo.
  8. Tough to knock WP that hard for being bad at debuffs when so many other Resist sets have the same issue. I have yet to find any resist set worthy of being an S tier on any AT. You can talk me into Stone maybe, but that's not fully a Resist based armor.
  9. Incarnates and other options can make getting mezzed a non or at least lesser issue.
  10. A well built blaster is a sight to behold. I've been on teams where blasters basically took everybody else along for the ride.
  11. In terms of playstyle, Plant/dark is far safer. /dark can play at range and has a fat heal. Fire plays in melee due to the damage aura and /poison has no self heal. Oddly enough, I think switching the primaries offer up potentially better pairings. Plant plays at range and has a regen power. Those work well with /poison. Fire is an end hog and /dark has a way to cover that.
  12. Artic Fog, Maneuvers, and Weave can get you a decent baseline of Def. Add in some IOs, see in Tough or elsewhere, and a Cold character should be rather easy to start capping Def on things. They can't mezz you if they can't hit you.
  13. The problem with the original build is two-fold. 1. The slotting is terrible in terms of number of slots and what is being slotted. 2. The power picks are equally bad. There's so many attacks. Just reworking those would get the build up and running on a decent level even without going into IO uncommons and rares. On a generic level: ST attacks are 1 acc, 1 end, 3 damage, with an optional recharge. AoE get 2 acc, 1 end, 3 damage. Toggles get 1 end and likely 3 slotting for what they are primarily used for, see Resist. Stamina is a 2-slotter and more so with IOs. Health can be 1-3 depending on the situation. Kick and Boxing both aren't really needed. Pick one and go with it. Air Sup is decent, but Stalker MA has no AoE so I would grab Cross Punch instead. I would still skip on a MA primary attack to fit it in though. You don't really need 6 powers from your primary at that point. I'm guessing MA would likely need all of four attacks for an end game attack chain. Thunder Kick can easily be skipped.
  14. Accessing the data should be easy enough. It is putting it into actual forum form which would be annoying.
  15. 4090 is coming out at $1,599.

    Why SR?

Because of how easy it is to cap Def, and due to the Tank ATO proc a Tank can get +20% Res. I honestly wouldn't blindly say Res is best on a Tank.
  17. Make a Blaster and a Corr. Have both of them pick the same primary. In this case, I picked Fire. Pick the same starting attack. I picked Flares. Now, after character creation, click on Powers. Right click on Flares and then click on Info. Click on the Detailed Info tab. Ignore the initial numbers as Scourge is overly factored in there. Go to the bottom where you will see three sets of data. It is the initial damage, the DoT, and AT related bonus, see Scourge. Now, do the same for the other character and look at just the initial damage and DoT damage at the bottom. I scaled the numbers for being level 50. Corr: Initial Damage is 29.62 and a DoT of 12.51. Blaster: Initial Damage is 44.42 and a DoT of 18.77. So yes, when Scourge happens a Corr can start to out damage a Blaster. More so when a Corr can add in buffs and debuffs. However, Blasters can get two ways to boost their damage via primary and secondary. They also don't need to wait for the debuffs to be in place or for Scourge to happen to get higher numbers. FYI, even with a 30% -Res debuff, a Blaster is still doing more damage. The advantage to a Corr is support and team damage.
  18. The numbers show me that the fan base at this point is rather steady. Page 4 didn't really receive a bump like Page 3 did. The market wasn't really impacted at all if anything it went down. So yay, numbers are steady, but numbers ideally would have gone up during a Page release.
  19. The lack of SBB makes the list feel incomplete. It is one of the few things which actually feels different.
  20. I don't team a lot. I prefer soloing and trying out seeing how well or not characters do. I spend far more time getting to 50 than being level 50. I probably have roughly 15 characters at 50. Only one is fully IOed out and all T4ed in terms of Incarnates. I haven't found much end game content to be genuinely fun, and speed runs could borderline die in a fire for all I care.
  21. I'm not sure I have a build in Mids if that's what you are asking, so it might take some time for me to even look that up. I took a break from the game. I haven't even looked at Mids in months, so yeah. Point is, Stone is incredibly good. You can get create Def across all types and En Resist I think is the only obvious lesser stat from a mitigation standpoint. It has a bit of everything although it doesn't excel in any one aspect. I can't recall the diff setting outside of x8, but I'm sure the level was decently high, but I stood in the middle of a pack of ranged Psy attacks and kind of just laughed. I did a LR(EB) mission at +4/x8. One death and that likely was partly due to ignorance with the mission. Ice is just so incredibly defensive as Ice Patch is outright cheat mode for mitigation. That alone pretty much let me street sweep mobs which were +4/+5 to me around level 20 for a mission. I used Ice melee twice for that mission with two different characters. The first was a Rad/ice Tank. I soloed +4/x8 Council at 48, and I honestly didn't even need Ice Patch for it. I also wouldn't recommend it either as killing was outright slow. It was more of a test to see if I could do it. By all means, GIS has terrible DPA, but you can work in a epic attack or two to fill in for attacks. Ice has some DoT attacks and Fury loves DoT. FYI, I leveled via solo 1-50 Red side, which I find much more difficult to do than Blue side. I IOed as I went along. Like I said, any build is somewhere in a stack of papers. The Mids build is somewhere in a folder, and someday I'll likely tweak it after I figure out the Incarnate side of things more. It just feels like it could be better. I might have gone too defensive. My basis for it was actually Croax's Ice/stone Stalker build. I switched the ATOs and just went from there.
  22. I have three in the like or higher category. Claws/wp, Rad/bio, and Ice/stone. Ice/stone is as close as I have seen to a perfect build although that doesn't mean the build couldn't be better, etc. Any /fire Brute really simply exists for farm reasons, as I haven't been exactly blown away with fire for general purpose content, and yes, I have a general content build on one of them. I'm working on a Claws/ea, but only level 25 so far. I see no reason for it to not join the others in the like+ category.
  23. I tend to skip on Offensive Adaptation when soloing as I'm likely to push the diff setting and will have that set for any mission including ones which can trip up Bio. On teams and certainly in the right situation, Rad/bio fills the bill as a world breaker though. So much stuff just dies and the clicks can keep you going well enough.
  24. This is the way. Pets don't crit. They also don't break Hide so there is no advantage for a Scrapper versus a Stalker.
