  1. I look at the final build like this. It would raise an eyebrow, but that's about it. The more correct answer is I hardly team, I'm on speed runs for TFs so any build matters little, I likely won't even bother to look at the build, and there are very good odds I'm in front of said character even on a squishy because I play aggressive so I'm not even paying attention to what they are doing. As mentioned, there are going to be numerous teams doing +4 where a few players can carry the rest. Hell, if I had a dime for every under leveled character on a +4x8 PI team, I could put some cheese on some Whoppers. Again, concept builds are fine. They can generate blowback depending on the build. I would lean on rolling a build on the RP sever as they would likely be more forgiving.
  2. Also, saying Hulk has had his MCU movie is really shoehorning that aspect. Technically it is true, but that's more like Marvel sweeping pre MCU things into their stash even when it wasn't theirs, see Daredevil.
  3. Since it has been mentioned, Hawkeye did have his own show.
  4. Slotting the Achilles' Heel: Chance for Res Debuff in NB is the last place I would put it. You want that in an AoE as mentioned above.
  5. I had a Level 50 Rad/sonic on Live. RI and EF were taken asap. RI has a known issue with animation time. At least now the toggles last past when the target has been arrested as compared to much of the time on Live where that wasn't true. RI also enables easier use of the Vet powers you can get at the S.T.A.R.T. vendor, and these are vastly better than Boxing. You have Neutrino Bolt which is practically on auto with any reasonable recharge. There is no realistic reason for using Boxing. You even have RI slotted with a -Res Proc for an AoE Debuff. I would want that happening asap even if the toggle itself goes away. EF with Defender levels of -Res? Inject that into my veins. In case it matters, I've played /rad a number of times, and my current attempt at it is 41, so yes, I have played it. I barely justify Boxing on a Brute. Also note I soloed my Rad/sonic on Live so yes I am rather aware of what those toggles do for the build.
  6. So someone who hasn't been a sidekick to Captain American in the MCU but a partner and has had his name in a MCU movie and TV show is a total D-lister. Welcome to the internet, where everything is a A-lister or D-lister. Why do other listers even try to exist? 😉
  7. The Winter Solider character will be 20 years old next year. The idea that Bucky is a sidekick in the MCU is a bit amusing considered the OG Cap is dead, and TWS has every right to be Cap as the Falcon does. No one would blink or be outraged if TWS picked up and used Cap's shield.
  8. If you aren't even taking the two best DPA ST attacks and skipping the nuke, I have genuine questions about why you are even playing a Corr.
  9. Understandable from someone who has soloed to 50 a number of builds without using 2x XP boosters. Elude is there as a mule if need be. On a Scrapper, I use Shadow Meld as my 'Oh crap' button, but to be honest it ends up being a mule as well.
  10. As always, it is your build and concept, but I would be stunned if you didn't get flack. Concept builds is one thing, but skipping the last three powers in Fire is basically begging me to not 1-star the character. Doms can get Sleet in their epic. I might have been willing to try the concept as a Dom instead. Note, I have seen /cold Corrs not take the shields and said nothing. But if I see the listed powers and don't see you using the shields, that's an instant red flag, and you're being carried on a team in a similar way to a 'pure healer,' Again, play how you want, but the question is "Am I going to get blowback for this build?" Absolutely 100%.
  11. There is the Beta server as well. It is little more than doing a respec on a build to see what one plays like. City of Data gives me a starting point for DPA and animation times overall. Another aspect to not taking all of the attacks is you have more slotting for the ones you do take.
  12. I so wished I could take Ice or Fire and do nothing but blades. I wished we had more than one version of a melee set. Fire melee for my tanker is three ST attacks and two AoEs. Add in BU and Taunt. I skip the T1 and Fire Breath due to the animation. I used Fire Breath early as that was my second 'ST' attack until I got to 28. So much AoE damage early. Soloing was easy.
  13. Also, someone posted a Beam/rad build in June. I don't consider that a LONG time ago.
  14. I don't recall Rad really being changed for Sents so that old build might be a solid starting point. I don't know what primary you are looking for either. To be honest, Rad has one power difference to other versions of Rad and that's really only the damage aspect of it. It shouldn't be that difficult to parse together a build and then post it here for review. The Sent forum is on the slower side, so builds will likely be on the older side. I went looking for one and didn't see it at all. I still figured out a build for it though.
  15. Rad has two other AoEs. If you aren't a Brute, the damage aura isn't fueled by Fury or Crits. Tankers at least get the bigger AoEs, but I can see a Scrapper wanting to use it since it can Crit or even triggering the Scrapper +Change to Crit so something else does hit for more.
  16. In the day and age of people working from home, there is zero surprise with the movement towards AFK gaming.
  17. AoE which sets up mobs being contaminated? I know many dislike cones in the game. I have it on my Rad/bio Brute, but I honestly could do a new build on it, but I lack the energy to redo a build which I've essentially moved on from.
  18. I'm not arguing for Bucky being an A-Lister. I'm arguing against him being classified as a D-Lister.
  19. A T1 attack can likely be skipped even if left out via a later respec. I would plan around 3-4 Single target attacks. I'm not sure if there are ever too many AoE attacks to take, but some might not be worthwhile. I seek out guides for powersets and see how far that can get me in a build. I will look at builds where I know the poster has put a genuine effort in playing it and refining the build. Anytime someone posted an updated build lets me know they are putting in the effort to make the build as good as possible. If you take the time and effort to post a build, odds are people will chime in for what changes you could make.
  20. What a weird standard to have for a character which has been around for decades, who's name was literally a subtitle for one of the MCU's better reviewed movies, and said film pulled in over 700 million worldwide. I'm not saying he's on the Avengers or X-Men level, but incredibly few are.
  21. Depending on the AT and how long you are willing to wait, ATOs can be had for 7-7.5 mill.
  22. Bucky, aka The Winter Solider did in fact have his own comic.
  23. The only difference between +0 and +4 is the amount of currency gained outside of it being more difficult. In terms of drops ie salvage, recipes etc, you want x8. I only bump up the diff setting in terms of +# as I get further into Incarnates. For me, +3 is where stuff starts to get hard depending on the AT and build plus the actual content. Certain Contacts are absolute build checks.
  24. T4 is to get max level on your characters in terms of Incarnates. Even if you farm Heather's arc, it is going to take some time. Lets say you get to T4 on a build, you could easily be Vet Level 25. That's 25 more levels of play at the highest XP requirement for leveling. I played a ton on Live. I've played quite a bit on HC. I essentially know what works for me. I have roughly 35 characters. Roughly 20 of them are Level 50. My standard is do I even want to get them to Level 50? Do I want to invest in getting them to T4? Do I even what to IO out their builds? If I take a long break from the game, what builds do I first play? Hundreds of builds have failed the first requirement. Even very meta builds. I'm at least fine with getting something to 50 and retiring it. Even if you want to skip on Incarnates, I would still play a 50 to earn more drops. I also do builds in Mids and then import them to Beta to see how they perform. That defaults to +0x8 on solo friendly builds. If I don't like it, I don't roll it on an active server. I'm at the point I want characters I'm genuinely excited about their name and look along with how they play. My todo 'list' so far is doing a TW/invul Scrapper since I've never rolled either.
