  1. Just to add for a case for going Stalker, I feel like Psi on a Stalker could at least be talked into taking Boggle, which will increase the chances for Insight to be triggered. Yes, any AT using Psi could do the same. I just feel like a Stalker would be the one to actually use it. It could be a one slot Acc wonder as well unless you found more slots for it.
  2. Rad armor being the best armor is HIGHLY debatable. They even mentioned not doing Tankers unless there was a good reason for it. Rad would help supplement Psi's type of damage, and that's the end of what makes Rad great for Psi. I would skip DA for a Stalker. You lose the one source of an extra damage type by going Stalker, and that being the damage aura. Also, Dark is a Resist set which tend to be lacking on Stalkers so it is hardly 'the best armor and AT' for Psi. You could go Psi/shield as Shield boosts your damage and offers Shield Charge. Also, Shield Charge is a pet. I'll let you figure that out on your own. I would go with the energy shield look and color it pink or whatever color you want. Even if Psi isn't in a great place as a set, I have repeatedly talked myself out of rolling this build just due to how cool it would look. Croax has done a ton of work offering a build for each type of Stalker build there is. Outside of their love affair with Super Speed as their travel power, I tend to find very little issues with the builds. I literally tweaked a Stalker build of theirs to make a Brute version.
  3. Depends on far back you go for defining new. I think Electric Affinity and Marine Affinity are likely the best overall sets to be added on the more recent side. While I admit to playing a lot of support, neither set has really clicked for me, but both are on the busy side. I think the best for the others sets are largely set reworks. I think any other of the newer sets fall into the 'fine' category with none of them really hitting any sort of meta in terms of the player base overwhelmingly preferring those sets over other classic sets.
  4. The Emp side of things depends on the pet picked. I tend towards the Knives, so that offers fun things like +250% Regen.
  5. You don't need the KB Protection. Alpha: Since mine was a Scrapper I went Musculature Core Paragon, and I'm honestly not against doing it here. Resilient will also benefit your Res, but you are only really getting it from RoP which has a decent downtime. I do not know if it would stack with Melee. That would make it slightly more interesting. The ToHit Buff would also be useful. Def should be more than fine. Recharge and End usage should also be fine. You don't have enough Healing to really boost it. Musculature just kind of wins. Judgement: Void. Even if you go for the all-out nuke versus the debuff heavier one, the debuff will support /sr. If not that, Ionic. Interface: I default to Reactive with the higher Fire proc rate. Alternates would be Diamagnetic as it has a -Tohit Debuff along with -Regen and Degenerative due the -HP. Lore: Whatever works for your character. There's a guide in the guides section for what all of the pets do. I have been leaning on getting the one which just supports, but has no offensive powers. It's the right side of the tree. It's like having a 5 minute pocket Emp sidekick. Hybrid: Melee. I use the one which boosts Res. Destiny: Rebirth or Barrier. I went Barrier on my Dark/sr but Rebirth on my Claws/sr. I'm still deciding which one I like more. I might lean Barrier. ToHit buffs are still the bane for SR so jamming all the more Def isn't exactly wasted.
  6. Got through E5 and E6. I was a bit underwhelmed by it up to E4, but those two episodes made me glad I kept watching.
  7. The issue with Foot Stomp is it's radius. Spin has better DPA and recharges faster. Its radius is 8 versus 15 for Foot Stomp. While KO Blow has better DPA then Focus, it recharges in 20 seconds versus 8 for Focus. Also, FU can stack for 60% damage. Rage can stack for 160% although with the obvious downside.
  8. At one point I would have said Star Trek for TV and Star Wars for movies, but Star Wars kept making movies. 😄 Likely rerolling my Gold Side Tanker to a Brute. My character might not die, but I am of boredom. I'm close enough to 11, and I know the build won't be really tolerable until 16 and more towards 20. I had a Rad/ice Tanker in their 20s and rerolled. I have a Ice/stone Brute which I love. Shield/fire was the only Tanker I liked enough to keep going for solo. Using Fire Breath was a great way to level. I dropped it later on though. I'm not sure I could be made to make another Tanker at this point. I would duo box it into its 30s if I did. People can look at their charts all they want to. It's about fun. Even more so if two ATs can deal with max diff content. Also, I have been doing DA dailies and even at x8 diff settings, there are numerous mobs at all of 3 targets. On a Scrapper, I'm herding mobs. Sure, there are some ambushes which have a dump truck worth of mobs, but my Scrapper has no real issue with it. I already know RWZ and Cim will be a better challenge although I do have fond memories of when the DA arc goes to Cim.
  9. Agreed. I got a Dark/sr Scrapper at T3 level. My Claws/sr is close to that. I used RoP to level, but if I could think of a good alt build, I might do a post T4 rebuild without it. The only thing holding me back from a SR Tanker is I have a Shield/fire at near T3 already. Not only was it the only build so far to go through MJ's arc at +2x8 as a fresh Level 50, it did so with a single fluke death. Many missions I simply didn't look at my health bar. I did go Savage/sr Brute though. Add in my Ice/sr Sent and I'm on pace to have the same number of SRs at 50 as EAs. Tankers already get Shield, SR, Stone, and Invul. There's nothing game breaking about adding EA to that list.
  10. I've played EA to 50 on the four ATs who get it. I mostly soloed it on three of them. I do not get why EA isn't ported to Tankers. The argument should have ended once people accept Tankers already have Stone, and I'm not even saying Stone is better. It is absolutely comparable in terms of surviving any map. My guess is Invul compares rather well to it. People seem to forget there are other armors more survivable than EA and porting it to Tankers isn't going to change that.
  11. Just listen to some of the Stalker sets and try to figure out how they sneak up on anyone. Rational reasoning for certain sets went out some time ago.
  12. I'm not saying I would quit playing the game, but this would be as close to a move to do it. I have one Tanker at 50, another around 30. I just started a Gold side one, and it's like pulling teeth super early. I even actively told myself the Brute version would be better for what I want out of the build, but decided to do a Tanker because "there's no reason to roll a Brute these days" they say, and the post Level 50 build should in theory have a higher ceiling even if I would essentially be done with Gold side at that point. There's zero chance this isn't done again if the devs had a chance to, but part of the problem was letting villain ATs go to blue side.
  13. Broken record says what? I mean, you literally wrote a guide for this.
  14. I recently figured out to put a build on Beta and then move the IOs there for it. Here's the repeat list as the one quoted above isn't quite all it at least it doesn't look that way to me. 1. See the link below and install the file where needed. 2. Create your build in Mids. 3. File -> Export -> Export Build to Beta Server. 4. Select the folder where Homecoming is installed. For me this is C:\Games\Homecoming. 5. Log into Beta. 6. Create the character with the same name you exported in Mids. 7. Use the /popmenu freebies command. 8. Set Level -> Level 50. 9. Train to 50. 10. /popmenu <character's name> 11. Use the first option. You now have part one of two loads of IOs. 12. Slot said IOs. 13. Repeat the command again and grab the rest of your IOs. 14. Finish slotting your character. This essentially takes the time it takes to respec a build.
  15. I'm just going to blame this thread for me having 500K bids sitting for the past few days. 😄
  16. +1. There's not a single question here. Beta Decay can be left with the base slot and using an Achilles Heel: -Res proc. Irradiated Ground is standard PBAoE slotting either 2 Acc, 1, End, 3 Damage, or something like Obliteration. Doing heavier damage procs is an option.
  17. Number wise it isn't bad, but you don't need Swipe. I even have Strike unslotted with just it's initial slot. You don't need Eviscerate either as Spin and Shockwave have better DPA and can be chained with FU. Your DDR is 'only' at 93.66%. While yes, your F/C Res is better, I prefer mine having better S/L Res as that is far more common. Cold is honestly rather limited in the mobs which use it. I accept my use of the Sorcery pool can be theme breaking, but I default to using it for RoP. I can see about doing a respec to remove it once you get far enough in Incarnates, but I haven't hit that point where I am comfortable doing that. My minimum bar for end game soloing is 'any' map for general content at a minimum of +3x8 with as few of deaths as possible so removing any mitigation is difficult for me to do. The Melee Incarnate isn't up 100% of the time, so it is a nice fill-in. I won't argue over taking FA vs CP. I accept CP is there as an emergency button depending on the mob. SR doesn't have genuine End drain protection outside of high defense. As someone who aims to solo as previously mentioned, oh there are maps where end drain is an issue from the sheer amount of it. You can keep FA, just know there are times to have some Blues on hand. If you vastly team, then hell, you're build looks great. 😄 I added in my picks for Incarnates, but Rebirth vs Barrier is a current debate I am going through. I think the answer is more based on if you are doing smart gameplay versus which one you pick. If you mindlessly jump into into any pack, you're going to be dead either way. Interface has options. Some of my slotting in game needs to be updated to this since I recently changed the build, and I'm not fully T4 yet, but this is essentially what I have in game soloing Cim at +3x8. I have but currently not really using Hasten. Maneuvers is a default pick until I try something else out, but my lean is to keep it. No build is likely done, but I've taken Claws to 50 five times IIRC, and SR to 50 three times. I've gone through the build looking for any change of even one slot more than I can count, so yeah, it's pretty damn close to being 'done.' See also here for recent discussion. 18. Drop the Lethargic Repose slotting and 6 slot the ToF. The 3-slot bonus really isn't worth it. Hopefully with reslotting the KB protection to other places you can up your S/L Def and Res. Your regen is honestly a bit low for a WP build, but I don't really have experience with WP on Stalkers to have a good baseline for it.
  19. It would also be interesting to know what state Regen was in at the time of analysis. Linea's done a bunch of work making missions built to challenge builds. They never ranked Regen, but I'm not surprised. I did one of the missions at the lowest setting and it is a debuff hell. Imagine taking a Regen and facing mobs with -End and -Recharge. Note, they have rankings for Brutes and Tankers.
  20. I would solo Heather Townshend's initial arc in DA to get Incarnate drops. I solo it at even level(whatever that may be as you can be up to +3 against incarnate content) and x1. You're doing it for speed more than anything. This can be repeated until you are sick of it or done. This can be done via Flashback or as once after initial contact. There is a contact to get a mission once per 20 hours there for 10 extra threads. The contact depends on what side you are on, Ephram Sha(Blue) or Maharaj(Red). Outside of Stone, you are looking for hybrids like Invul or Shield. I would look at Ice or Dark if you want an immortal friendly build.
  21. Battle Axe will win in the sheer DPS department while producing eye popping End cost. It can use all the Recharge you can fit in while managing that much End usage. Kat is not that. Depending on what sets your are comparing it against, Kat is at least in the running for the smoothest set to play. It's the only melee set where not single power has a Arcanatime animation time of 2 seconds. It's more of a playstyle thing in that being the slow end heavy big orange numbers thing or being a blender.
  22. I don't believe so. Two of the six are auto. I don't really use Lore even if I grab it, and you likely don't care about it recharging anyway. Hybrid and Destiny look to be perma when at 120 second duration. So any recharge is really just for Judgement.
  23. Then that's terrible wording on the IOs part. PA essentially has a Taunt aura so I've never worried about them attacking something and the target then attacking me. They are immune, so the benefit seems small.
  24. You'll need KD more than +Recharge for the Claws side of things. 5th slot bonuses tend to be good enough for me.
