  1. One slot Strike and take Slash. You can easily add it in as Confront is a wasted picked. I prefer the SS set in FU. You are better off using D/R in purple sets than just damage. Some of your set bonuses end at +End which I feel is a bit odd. I'm not really sure Hasten is needed, but that's more for Bio than Claws.
  2. Confirmation bias is hell of a drug. 30 seconds in a PC game is a LONG time. Unless there is actual video of it, there's no real way to confirm what is happening. Note, build and mobs have been asked about but none given. It's just feelings from one user when roughly 1k users are logging into one server on a daily basis. I can not fathom two minions dropping a character's end to 0 and the forums not being lit up. Even the worst -Recharge goes away after maybe 10 seconds. It is really rare I have a mob to where I have to rethink how I approach things, but usually a quick rethink gets me through the situation. There's one mob where the LTs do -Recharge and -End in I believe Mr. G's arc Red side. That at +3x8 was fun. I seem to recall doing that arc deathless.
  3. It also helps to know what you are playing.
  4. Disintegrate is there for the AVs and such.
  5. I scanned the thread in question, and I'm having rather difficult time seeing what the problem was. I have elsewhere had my run-ins with mods and took intentional or not breaks just to step away and let things take their course.
  6. I even replied in one of their threads. Now I remember it. Still, I think the majority of their characters don't hit the 40s. See how it had been awhile since they had hit 50.
  7. January is an infamous dumping place for movies. Add in being a TV movie as well.
  8. Also note they don't really get characters to even level 50. IIRC, they tap out around the 30s at best.
  9. A Scrapper is literally going to have 15% less Res against damage compared to a Brute or Tanker.
  10. It's still not great. Either Posi TF or Yin can be done in the area of 30 minutes. I've done at least one Yin in 18.
  11. My memory from Live is a bit fuzzy, but I think if I played them all the more post 50 I would continue to have SR pull out in front of Regen. This was using Level 25 Commons. I enjoyed Regen until about Level 40 when the more nastier things you can encounter started to happen. Now? I might build a Regen on the Beta server for kicks.
  12. I do concede Citadel would be #2 for getting fixed. My issue with Synapse is the fact that it is a Level 16-20 TF that's just inexcusably long for the sake of it and one geared for newer players.
  13. I'm still surprised that TF hasn't been reworked.
  14. And I have one of those too. Plus an Ill/dark.
  15. The only reason I don't have Fire/dark is due to having a Fire/time.
  16. While Claws is a easy entry point, the problem is FU isn't ranged so you don't have a good way to boost your damage. Have I gone into a ranged mode with a Claws character due to the situation? Absolutely.
  17. If I made a TA again, I would do a Fire/ta Corr.
  18. Nukes tend to be roughly every other mob type of things so I wouldn't consider them to be that problematic in terms of movement.
  19. My initial thought was Thermal as well. A bit of a look at the current meta. People tend to cover their own Def as well as they can(whatever that might be). Res gets put to the side so offering Res shields can be deemed as more useful. While yes, healing is useful, teams steam roll more than ever so the odds of a team needing a heal is on the lower side. Add in shields from Thermal or where ever, and heals more of a nice to have then a requirement. Also, when a team doesn't feel like they need healing so much, those shields can make you still feel useful. I know FF got reworked. I just can't be bothered to use it when Time and Cold exists. The problem for you with Marine is there is a power which literally TPs you into melee, so you either have to skip it or likely deal with going in and out of melee which you said is an issue for you. For a Defender, I like /sonic due to Defenders getting the most -Res out of it and it is all ranged. Shockwave with a KD IO can offer some nice additional mitigation, and the recharge is decent enough. I have a Thermal/sonic who got on a team with a Cold and health bars really didn't move.
  20. Odds are far greater you get on a steamrolling team versus a struggling one.
  21. If you want info on Regen Brutes, I would seek out info from Spaghetti Betty. I know they have been credited with making Regen to be at least workable.
  22. A friend of mine gave me his HeroClix figures.
  23. The only time taken would be to do the build. Slotting is practically the same time as slotting an SO build. I would many times over test an IO build over an SO one.
  24. You can pop a build in Mids and import it to Beta. There's no need to just try out an SO build.
  25. This isn't a fair comparison. Elec Blast simply doesn't have something which can compare to Seeds. I would rather see two full Elec builds. I think the comment about Controllers being better for subpar teams feels like the correct answer. In terms of sheer support, I never felt like a Defender came close to my Earth/storm, and I played a lot of Defenders on Live.
