  1. As a note on "50 and broke", Inf rewards scale non-linearly with level. So even if someone never engages double XP, they'll still be basically broke by the time they hit 50 just because the Inf rewards from lower levels are such a paltry sum. https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Inf
  2. I'd support this if it's 1 or 2 merits per completion. Possibly with additional rewards for completing side missions. Say an extra 1 or 2 merits for completing all the side objectives. I see people doing radio/newspaper missions, but in my experience (sample size of one) the bank missions are frequently skipped due to the increased difficulty, longer time, and general lack of substantive reward. The temp travel powers for the Atlas Park and Kings Row missions aren't valuable anymore since we get travel powers available at level 4 and temp powers out the wazoo from the START vendor. Same goes for the other temp powers. As far as I'm aware, outside of the Arms Deal side mission none of them give an extra reward outside of big timer boosts (which only matter if you're doing other sides) and badges for doing them. IE, the reward for doing side objectives is you can do more side objectives. The 2 unlockable contacts that let you pick any Safeguard or Mayhem mission mean you can spam them quickly if you're just going for completion, but 1-2 merits would keep them in line with other spammable merit rewards. I would be dead set against any suggestion to remove these contacts. As has been stated previously, they're the only way a character can get Safeguard/Mayhem missions that have been out leveled. For reference, the Spelunker badge mission can be completed in under 3 minutes and awards 2 merits. Twilight Son's Ouro arc/TF awards 7 merits and can be completed in less than 5.
  3. It is wrong. I tested it while investigating if that IO was actually worth the slot, and it does stack. Putting it in my T2 primary set's attack I could reliably maintain 3 stacks while spamming.
  4. The altered version with Unleashed Might still can be activated like it's a PBAoE power, despite being a cone. Anywhere, without a target. It does not spin the character model or damage box to face a targeted enemy, even if they're in melee range. This means you can activate it while next to an enemy, but facing outside the cone's arc, and not hit anything.

  7. Only thing I'm not thrilled with is the meter requiring combat (need to test). And yeah, the Opportunity proc ATO is a joke. I have it on exactly one character for the set bonuses.

  9. Given what Zed has gone through to keep the existing program up-to-date and (mostly) accurate, I feel rather confident in saying it's more than "just a database". At the very least that glosses over a lot of complexity. Otherwise, I have to imagine someone would have built an alternative already.
  10. As I understand it this point, refactoring would be more work than burning it down and rebuilding from scratch. As to why that hasn't been done yet, I can only assume it's actually a lot more complicated than just a GUI, database, and rules enforcing. A wish for a new builder program goes all the way back to the retail days and people wanting a web based version. No one's made anything comparable yet.

  12. I'm assuming this is a bug. The current icon for Pyschopomp is the same as Front Person. Psychopomp deals with Skulls, while the icon has the Crey logo.
  13. For Carnie Illusionists/Master Illusionists and Council Ascendants, does losing their power mean it effectively removes it so they can't cast it again at all? Or just that they can't cast it while held?
  14. I'm not a dev, so there's not much I can do for you. The only other thing I can think to try is check you aren't somehow on the Rebirth database. Options -> Change Database and make sure it's Homecoming.

  16. Were you set to Architect Rewards? The badge doesn't award if you select Standard Rewards, and I saw a message about an Incarnate Thread dropping which I don't think should happen if you're using Architect Rewards.
  17. Oh, yeah, Mids' is kinda bad about file association. If you double click a build, it doesn't usually open Mids' to view the build. Safe the file somewhere, then open Mids' first and then use the File -> Open... menu (or Ctrl + O) to open the build from inside Mids'. You can try and fix the file association by right clicking the build file and selecting "Open With..." then picking Mids' and checking "Always Use this app to open .mdb files" box.

  19. Mids has it's own subforum here. I also wrote a guide, which can be found here. There is an Import Data Chunk option under the Build Sharing menu. You should be able to highlight a data chunk and copy it (CTRL+C), then click Import Data Chunk and paste it into the window that pops up. I do not know how old a data chunk can be and still be imported by the current version of Mids', I had insufficient data for testing that feature. In theory it should work for any data chunk, though a loaded build may have display issues depending on how much has changed with the power sets.
  20. The Justified Ends badge is supposed to be awarded for completing Robert Kogan's arc, regardless of which dialogue choices you make in the missions, correct? I just finished his arc and no one on my team got the badge (everyone was there from start to finish).
  21. Did you at any point before doing Erin West's arc, (flashback or otherwise), complete Tavish Bell's related arcs? To my knowledge, doing West's arc as a flashback does not change the requirements to have done the listed arcs previously.
  22. Nice. I've been enjoying the increased threat from the new enemy group, and very much appreciate seeing something new. My only real complaint is this feels like what Malta Group is supposed to be. I've long lamented that Malta no longer feels like a major threat between their nerfs (long ago back on Live) and the power creep for players.
  23. I thought the Brute version was single target? At least City of Data says it still is.
