You're right. The dev team should probably get on that sometime and fix it so that all pets have their raw data available somewhere as well. Perhaps a new tab from the right mouse button Info window on the pet?

Is it still 50%? I thought they changed it with the 2XP boost? AFAIK (and checking the Dev Tracker), the last comment about the AE nerfs said that they were still going to be around for the forseeable future, unless I missed something: https://forums.homecomingservers.com/index.php/topic,2875.msg19229.html?PHPSESSID=vktgmh9dq46gk7k0jha011ppb3#msg19229

Help: a specific challenging goal: complete all contacts
_NOPE_ replied to JusticeBowler's topic in General Discussion
Yup. [*]Turn off XP until you have exhausted all of your contact's missions [*]Street sweep until you level up [*]Talk to all of your old contacts, see if they give you new contacts [*]If they don't street sweep until you level up again (and again, and again) Repeat this process forever. She'll have to make a new character though if she's already bypassed all of the origin contacts though. -
A small suggestion for additional content
_NOPE_ replied to Darkredwing's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Well, just make it another place where there's missions and XP, but make sure there's NO extra badges, temp powers, accolades, or other things that you can't get in regular PvE. Then PvErs like myself would only have motivation to experience new content, without feeling "forced" to go into a PvP zone for "kewl loot". Problem solved. -

+1. I don't PvP at all, period, but it might be fun to risk a PvP zone for some new content. -
As soon as you see this screen fill with "sns" nameservers rather than "ns" nameservers, we should be all good: https://www.whatsmydns.net/#NS/cityofplayers.com

You misunderstand. Email is clunky. I'd rather there be some other GUI-related way to easily pick up and drop recipes/salvage/merits/items/whatever from some sort of "storage" location that's bound to your account to ANY character. Rather than Player 1 passing is junk between Character 1 and Character 2 via e-mail, he/she can just plop that stuff into "Account Storage", and the next time he's on Character 2, he can just take it from Account Storage for Character 2. Basically, like Vault, but account-wide. That would make things EASIER, rather than harder.

So apparently Homecoming is only the 7th most popular server

Yeah, as for the secret server... I was just pissed that I wasn't invited... :'( -

The funniest part of that argument? A large portion of those espousing it are at the same time working towards their OWN new version of the game. So, what makes their "new version" better than SCoRE's new version? And isn't it hypocritical to state that there shouldn't be any modifications to what the original Paragon Studios/NCSoft/Cryptic devs did, and then go on to make your own modifications at the same time? -
Okay, then +1 to the Held suggestion. I don't like the e-mail idea though. E-mail, I think, should really be for messages and passing things between actual distinct players, and e-mailing "stuff" should be between actual players as well. Instead of figuring out additional ways to pass things between alts, I'd rather us just have an "account storage" tool of some sort that you can use in-game to store ANYTHING and add to it from any character and remove from it from any character.

Use Pigg Viewer Pro and search the whole Piggs directory, instead of just one file at a time!

Yes, because hinting "you mad bro?" is an AWESOME way to keep the conversation flowing.

Just make a male character... You obviously rather hide all female qualities that make men and women vastly different from each other. I don't have a six-pack IRL but I make badass FIT looking super villains and play them regardless. You should be proud of a hot female FICTIONAL SUPER HUMAN in a sci-fi video game.

I'm sorry, it looks like you're right: https://www.whatsmydns.net/#NS/cityofplayers.com I've contacted my provider, and we'll see what they say. I purchased the domain from GoDaddy, but the actual service is run on HostGator, so there's probably some conflict there, even though I have my GoDaddy domain pointing to the correct HostGator nameservers... we'll see.

Make the number of "completable" missions at least 3xday.
_NOPE_ replied to Judasace's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Yes, something like this. Not given for free, but bought. Hell, make "Mission Completes" an item purchasable in the P2W vendor, seems appropriate. -
Have the Reveal power show all glowies and mobs on a mission map

Humans are tribal creatures. No matter how hard we try to be otherwise, the temptation to cast social interactions as "us vs. them" is insanely strong. It's basically hardwired in. Add in any level of squick -- including fully imaginary -- and that temptation is irresistible. Sad, but true. We must try to fight against our tribalistic nature whenever possible, for the good of the greater society. +1 Inf

AFAIK the only issue with AE farming and why they put it to 50% XP is due to the strain on the servers. I don't think the HC team has made any official statements against farming in general, just on the resources used by AE map instances.

This sounds like a lot of fun!

Yes, you are. Because pretendy fun time games. So, you outright judge others and belittle them, because some people happen to enjoy gaming in a serious way or as a dedicated hobby, rather than your lackadaisical and carefree attitude towards the game? I don't understand how you can take this stance. Don't you see your hypocrisy? You criticize me for not "being a good sport" presumably and grouping with "casual players" (I don't like that term as I have no stigma towards casual players, but regardless) but then you say it's outright wrong to play in a manner where someone might care about efficiency. Your main example is one where you use the DPS meter tool to kick a player. This is fundamentally at odds with the general CoH community. In general, the players in this community are relaxed and enjoy a less job focused playstyle. As you can see from sheer numbers here in this thread alone, the popularity of such DPS elitism is ismply unwanted here in this community. You call us all the names you like, from lackadaisical to carebears to filthy casuals to hypocrites. The fundamental use you have for the tool, to use it to beat other players with, to shame them and kick them, is what we fight against. Not becoming better players. Not analyzing our own DPS. Not learning to use powers better. The use you propose, from your first post, is to use the tool as a weapon against other players. For this community, we see that as elitist, exclusionist and just plain old mean, jerk behaviour. Why should we treat people who are being jerks like anything other than jerks? +1 Inf

Nope! What I'm saying is that you can can choose to play however you want, but if you kick people because they aren't playing the way that YOU want them to play... then you're being the jerk, and you're wrong. That is, unless, you've EXPLICITLY stated in your /tell before the Invite the parameters of your playstyle. If you SPECIFICALLY tell them "you need to be providing X amount of DPS to play on my team, or you'll be kicked", and they don't do that? Sure, social contract broken. But if you just invite people or join teams and EXPECT them to play "your way" without telling them ahead of time, then get upset when they don't? That's on you.
