  1. Why? What does it add to the game? We know players hate missing. We’ve seen threads complaining about accuracy, asking if there’d been a nerf for as long as the game’s existed. What does the minimum miss chance bring to the game that makes it worth the aggravation? I say, not a damn thing.
  2. Oh I think a mission that tells you to do X and then doesn’t complete when you do X is very much a bug.
  3. The vast majority of the time “Defeat X and Guards” means defeat the named mob and every mob in the room it spawned in. If you’ve found a specific mission that says that but is in fact a kill all, submit a bug report and be specific about which mission it is/what contact gives it. Manually going through every mission in the game and double-checking that the victory conditions match the text is not a particularly realistic goal.
  4. Even if you reduce the minimum possible chance to miss to 1 in 400, you’re still enforcing the dogma that sometimes you just have to miss, for no reason.
  5. You’re talking about a completely unrelated group that subsumed the Knives entirely to boost their ranks. The exact same thing would’ve happened if they’d gone after, say, the Carnies.
  6. Nope, it’s just more of this
  7. Most of them were always slow. Enervating Field was the lone exception.
  8. I still think this is the best way to improve Force Field:
  9. He was a great final foe for the LRSF. Also, he’s the face of heroside, which is handy from a marketing perspective.
  10. This doesn’t make any sense. If you didn't need the heal, you didn’t need the +HP, either. You didn’t lose anything by saving it for emergencies. It’s not like Brutes or Tankers are in a lot of danger of getting one-shot because they didn’t have the boosted HP. Scrappers and Stalkers, maybe.
  11. My point is that since it's villain content, you're playing as a villain when you run it. You can't make the player character the hero you face at the end, that would make no sense. I think you're thinking of Venture.
  12. How's the player character supposed to be the big flashy heavy hitter foe at the end of the LRSF
  13. True, now it isn’t meant for that, but it used to be great at it.
  14. Not tricky at all. Customized weapons are just animated costume pieces, like wings, only their "animation" is just being invisible unless your character is in the matching weapon combat stance. Holstered weapons would just be the reverse, always visible unless your character enters the matching weapon combat stance.
  15. I would just give every character the pharaoh hood and only show every character from the neck or shoulders up. Then, include lines of dialog that explain that the flashback is happening inside a flooded basement, with chest-deep water, and everyone is wearing the pharaoh’s spare headdresses to keep them dry while they look for the big plug in a hole in the floor that’ll drain out all the water when they pull it.
  16. Make the nightmares in the penultimate stage count. That's at least 3 more chances in a run, with potentially many more.
  17. Interrupt enhancements already do exactly what I thought they did
  18. Why do people think like this? Just because the track record hasn't been perfect in the past we shouldn't make an effort to avoid it where possible?
  19. Male, Female, and Huge all have different head shapes, so every ported hairstyle needs to be modified to fit right on the new head. If you want to do it right, you also need to then check the hairstyle against every other head detail, shoulder option, and torso option to make sure no major clipping issues occur and fix those where they do. Not very low-hanging at all.
  20. What if you slot end reduction in your toggles? What if the player has accolades and set bonuses that increase maximum endurance?
  21. Because it’s possible to code the effects of the powers to suppress while shapeshifted, but not the endurance costs. That’s a lot more work to implement.
  22. By permanent, do you mean you want the effect as a costume option, or for the effect to last the full duration of the power?
  23. This sounds like a feature that they could just put in the actual expansion/replacement for the Paragon Dance Party that’s already in the game.
  24. Bah, you folks are crying over spilled milk, wringing your hands over some excessive force, when neither heroes or villains could possibly hurt more people with their actions than they do just by existing
