  1. I've been playing Radiation Emission lately, and it feels like it could use a little something. Accelerate Metabolism's effects are nice, but they aren't all that powerful. I think the recharge should be reduced, so it can be used more often. Right now it lasts 120 seconds and takes 422 seconds to recharge. I would reduce that recharge down to 336 seconds; with that recharge rate, 95% recharge slotted in the power, and the 30% recharge bonus Accelerate Metabolism provides, it will take only a modest 55% global recharge boost to achieve perma-AM. That's down from the current requirement of 127% global recharge, which is a very high amount to invest.

  3. No such thing as level 50 Eradication, the set stops at 30. Attuned versions will show as having level 50 enhancement values when you mouseover them, but it's a lie (bug). When you put them in the power, they only provide level 30 values at most.
  4. The FX on Unyielding are supposed to start playing as soon as the animation to toggle the power on begins. Instead, they don't start playing until the activation time is complete and it's possible to use other powers.
  5. When Council Ascendant Archons get to low health, they put up a shield that makes them untouchable and drastically increases their regeneration for a few seconds. This is supposed to be accompanied by a special animation where they cross their arms in front of them and a shield with the Council logo unfolds in front of them; that animation is not playing. Instead, they simply stand in the normal combat idle stance.

  6. Hm, I hate youths, but I don't hate this.
  7. When using the default FX theme for Invincibility, the FX don't loop properly. After being toggled on, they fade out. When an enemy moves within range of the aura, the FX plays again, and only loops as long as an enemy remains in the aura. When using the Bright Invulnerability theme, the FX do loop properly after being toggled on. However, they restart every time an enemy moves within range of the aura. When using the Dark Invulnerability theme.... I dunno. It's too darn dark for me to be sure if it works or not. I think it behaves the same as the Bright theme, but I can't be sure. For all themes, the FX should simply loop after being toggled on, and not change at all regardless of whether there are enemies inside the aura or not.
  8. Conserve Power in the Primal Forces Mastery epic pool for Dominators is using electricity-based themes and FX, but Primal Forces Mastery isn't an electricity-themed pool. It should be using the same themes and FX used by Conserve Power in all the other pools in which it appears.
  9. ? Have you not seen the Spectrum costume options? The glowing tattoo ink options?

  11. Shoving BAB into yet another neglected corner of the city? I say no! Let's put him somewhere he can do some real good: Paragon City Hall!
  12. Fellow Paragonians, what has Mayor Morales done for you lately? The time has come to elect a leader who knows how to lead, a leader with the best interests of Paragon City and her citizens at heart. Michael White has served our community for over 50 years, first alongside the brave men and women of the PPD, then on the streets and in the back alleys that gave him his name. When the Rikti invaded our fair city, Michael White came out of retirement to join the fight, and after they were repelled, he kept working to train the newest generation of heroes. Friends, how many times has Michael White stood alongside the Freedom Phalanx to defend Atlas Plaza from Lord Recluse's latest band of lackeys? How many of our brothers, sisters, fathers, and mothers would not be here today if he had not fought tirelessly against the scourge of drugs and the criminals who seek to profit with them? The next time the Circle of Thorns invade city hall with a gang of evil clones, who do you want sitting behind that desk? Some pencil-pusher? Or one of the most experienced and powerful crime fighters the city has to offer? Vote Michael White for Mayor of Paragon City!
  13. There's literally no way to add unlockable cosmetic content to the game without that being true for someone.
  14. If Absorb Pain and Resurrect were to actually be combined, I'd probably change the name. Probably to Rescue; that way we can still call it "rez." Then the flavor text would say that you recklessly heal your ally in a hurry in an attempt to rescue them from being defeated, in such a way that it injures you. However, if the ally is already defeated, you have to be more careful, resulting in no damage to you but a longer recharge.
  15. Like many players on Torchbearer, I've been using Warp Zone for a few years as a fast travel hub. However, whoever made it apparently doesn't play any more, so it's missing a bunch of beacon destinations, and a few other useful SG base amenities. So, while I was setting up a base to hold salvage and IOs, I built a replacement travel hub with the usual crafting tables and vendors and whatnot and all the missing destinations. Hit up TRAVEL-12429 if you need to get somewhere quick and Long Range Teleporter is letting you down.

  16. Seriously? The first beta build had vet experience removed from AE, the second build restored that but removed Empyrean/Astral Merit conversion to reward merits. Vet levels give free Empyreans. Surely you must be able to hazard a guess at what they're getting at.
  17. I would rather not wait a month to get a merit payout every 3 vet levels on a new 50.
  18. I'm not using Thrust (Super Speed goes faster with a 50+5 IO) and I'm able to run clear through fences.
  19. Bonding with a kheldian causes all the fingers on a human's hand to fuse together and leaves them unable to use weapons. This is canon
  20. It's a distinction without a difference. It still makes it harder to get rewards to buy IOs by just playing whatever content you like. Making it possible to buy incarnate salvage with AE Tickets seems like a better idea to me.
  21. I don't think it's going to continue to be a reliable way to get inf. Converters (the "standard" merit-to-inf go-between) are in much higher demand than super inspirations, and for players that don't want to use the market there's no way to just buy IOs or recipes directly from a vendor without the merit conversion.
  22. That's exactly what this change is, and I sure ain't happy.
  23. I hate it. Converting Empyreans and Astrals to Reward Merits makes it much easier to afford IOs for your character and alts once you reach 50, just by playing the game, thanks to the rewards from vet levels. Any lapsed players who left with significant Astral/Empyrean collections, expecting them to function as stored wealth for buying IOs, is going to return to find that a significant chunk of their wealth is effectively gone.
  24. I know what the patch notes mean. Right now there's no reason to convert Empyreans or Astrals into anything until you need them, so if you want to use them for rewards it's better to leave them as they are because they have a higher effective cap that way.
