  1. You just described every user trying to bypass the established contact methods on every IT support desk for which I've ever worked. 🙄
  2. I've personally tried many different configurations, and will continue to do so, but I have one rule of thumb: never overlay or crowd the character. That is where the action is and that is what I want to see, not a UI arrangement, no matter how cleverly designed.
  3. That's actually an intriguing thought...
  4. Just a thought: On the character login screen, might we get a listing/icons showing which Incarnate slots have been unlocked on a level 50 character? Maybe place small, recognizable icons or letters (A, J, I, L, D, H) next to the "X days offline". (See image for one mock up example.) I suggest this because when a call goes out saying "Recruiting...must have Incarnate slot X unlocked" I'd rather not fumble around logging in and out among dozens of level 50 characters looking for one I want to work on who also has that slot unlocked.
  5. Excellent idea. I could only suggest adding Incarnate unlocks to that, though I admit that might be better handled with icons. Hmm...suggestion time.
  6. Hero or otherwise, I freely admit after seeing the name I've never wanted to punch a Goldbricker in the face harder.
  7. "Major Brainfreeze" sounds like a good one of those title variants (and a few of my worst Dairy Queen visits).
  8. Have a look at this thread below. @KauaiJim and @Blackbird71 make some suggestions which, although they don't focus on alphabetical order, should hopefully help you achieve what you're after.
  9. make him look like the Baby New Year and call him "Ice Ice Baby"?
  10. Sorry if I came across as putting your suggestion down. It was not intended that way, but I don't always do a good job of typing out thoughts. You really like "Apache X", where X stands for everything else! 😁 I'd have been surprised that you'd not named "Apache Chief" if it weren't already a DC character. Come to think of it, "Apache X" sounds rather cool and mysterious. As to someone stealing your name, I quite understand. I had an awesome name back in live for my tanker, came to Homecoming and found it nowhere so I started using it, made the mistake of withdrawing my "reserve the name" character from Excelsior for a short time (I forget why) and found someone "stole" the name in that short time. Was pretty ticked. I've never found another name quite as effective for him since. The "Hail Hitler" might work if it is a homage to the hilariously over-the-top stage character in "The Producers". 😉
  11. "Brain Freeze" is actually taken on every one of the five servers. Perhaps a variation in spelling is not, or something like "Brain Freezer". Ice is a popular power and as such a lot of common ice names are already taken (even if they never get played 😠 ). With my ice/ice controller I found that thinking outside the box delivered a great solution that people still comment on. I chose a red/white Coca~Cola pattern, and called him "Polar Cola Man", running with the gag that he was an ice hero sponsored by the fictional Polar Cola Company. I took the gag a step further by naming his "Jack Frost" ice pet Freezzard™ which is obviously a portmanteau of "freeze" and "blizzard" and treated it as if the pet was named for a frozen cola treat. Perhaps smashing a few words together (portmanteau) or coming up with something fictional to a real world frozen counterpart might give some ideas.
  12. Well, if you're keeping that under-eye tattoo I'd say Ice Hook. For a rogue maybe Trecherous Ice or possibly Shifty (Shifting) Ice.
  13. I'd actually not noticed that. Went back just now to see for myself. Very nice. One other thing I should have commented on before: what was found in the tree...
  14. This thread is dangerous. In addition to your contribution, I've also seen words referencing "pasta" and "grit(s)", and another word that looks like "hamhock". 😋 Joking aside, thanks @Nerva for bringing this to everyone's attention!
  15. I've not seen the new Spider-man film yet (hope to on my days off next week), so pardon if I don't say something in alignment with what happened in it. So happy What If...? is not some sideline project but will be integral to the live MCU. Glad Mordo is back. Chiwetel Ejiofor is a great actor, so I'm hoping the writers are up to the challenge. Wondering what a certain obsessed, solitary What If...? person will do if MCUniverse Christine is spotted. Where exactly is Wanda? That's not the area where we left her. Two words: Double Dragon (again tying to the What If...? series) One might think a one-eyed tentacle beastie is Shuma-Gorath. Yes, one might be wrong: (spoilers)
  16. Episode 6 dropped, and did you see those words on Disney +? Not "Series Finale". One can always hope. Well, I'll get in the spoilery chat, but this was one fantastic Christmas...er...wrap!
  17. "90's era"? Be sure to give her lots of pads, pouches, and pockets. Lots of big, oversized, Rob "I make EMT tactical trousers look wimpy" Liefeld pads, pouches, and pockets.
  18. only if there's a 50/50 chance that puddle actually hides a deep pothole...
  19. Push it a bit farther. Load the hero event notification and villain event notifications as well (dark magenta color?). I can't tell you how many times this past month I logged in, looking for something to do, only to have a notice go up in 10 minutes that a Nemesis invasion had just ended in a different zone. I would have immediately gone to an event had I known a notice had gone out earlier.
  20. Chills, man. I don't even have the best headphones and still it stood the hair on my neck. Now if only these guys would partner with the London Symphony for the orchestral parts. Posted two weeks back on YouTube.
  21. That's why there are medical teleporters. 😉
  22. Does Steam not have any truly free games on its system then?
