The best thing is to bind teleport attacks makes it easier when attacking 6 powexeclocation target "shield charge"

Funny thing I was testing Caltrops on my Ice/EA scrapper and funny thing happen my room clears became faster and it is a buff to my st dps on bosses oh and in big groups paired with ice patch keeps bad guys off you even more as they run in circles and fall down to their own demise

Ok here is what i got so far I am trying to balance survival ability with damage output. Here is my current build with hasten I am setting at 176.3% global recharge 184.3% with one enemy that makes Hasten 3.5 seconds from perma no enemy and like .5 away defense s/l 55 f/c55 en 54.9 n 44.964 s/l resistance I have 1912 HP with accolades and if i user overload I capped 2 mins before the crash None of this takes into account incarnates Scrapper - Ice Melee - Energy Aura2.mxd

I had one before the fire melee change so i can not comet on the fire side (over a year ago) not tested the new fire melee change but rad is a very solid armor set and it paired while with fire for me pre buff I like my katana/rad a little better. That is all I go at this time since he is in retirement

Thanks for the replies I was hoping it be solid enough for me to use on a set without a taunt aura to get aggro when I want it if nothing else

I hate the non taunt aura scrappers I wish Provoke was a taunt aura yes one can dream but as of right now it's not I am just curious how it performs on a scrapper. Just trying gauge is it good enough to make due with out the aura

Thanks for the reply I have a Titian/Bio armor he is now just a level 50 marketeer just not a fan of the play style. I wish Fire would get a buff but why play a set that is suppose to be all about damage and all these other sets with Knockup knock down stuns etc do more damage hence my retired Fire/Rad. My favorite katana pairing has been Rad man it goes together like peanut butter and chocolate. My mace the primary feels all right is sitting at 40 one day one day but man me and Will Power have issues not sure what it is because the set is very survivable and has a taunt aura. KM issue is the first three attacks are fast fluid but man does it feel like it takes for ever to kill something I feel like that guy that pounds on the same spot a 1000 times and then the boulder cracks. I tried to love Jazz hands I wanted to love Jazz hands. Ice melee I have really taken to this primary I have an Ice/SD and Ice/Bio I prefer my Ice/SD but I just like SD more than Bio I don't need munch i would love to get a Greater Ice sword tweak to help and I could drop Frozen Fist I may move back to up my dps some but it always seems kind of clunky. Maybe you can confirm but looking at the numbers Boxing + Kick in the build gives boxing a slight DPA over FF but Smashing is more resisted than the FF large cold % I have a Rad/SD but Devastating Blow animation is so brutal and it gives the guaranteed contamination but trying to follow up with siphon to heal in a group yea beyond frustrating or have creatures just die before animation finishes because you had to freaking take a smoke break in the middle of the fight .

Street Justice Battle Axe Broad Sword Electric Staff Psionic Kinetic On ice melee I think a fix of Greater Ice Sword alone would help it a ton I currently use Frozen Fist since GIS feels so clunky Sorry forgot my 2nd question are they changing procs and I missed that part in the patch notes or we are expecting it here in the near future

Ok My current build I am sitting at 105% global recharge 75% resistance to S/L and Fire/cold and 70% resistance to Eng 40% s/l defense. 40HP regen max HP 1957 with accolades. When I hit radiation therapy I am sitting at about 56HP per second with no mobs but all my other defense is 17% and I have DA when desperate very rare. I have Particle shielding on auto fire Now with the changes with type damage and defense coming I trying to bring up my other defenses to round it out how end games works on some mobs. Hey adapt or become obsolete I guess at this point. So far the changes would keep the top three resistances the same a boost to some of the other resistances. I would gain about 2HP per second regen Defense would drop to 31% s/l but bring F/C/E/N to 25% and drop my global recharge to 97.5% and my Max HP 1973 Here are my builds current vs changes any suggestions are welcomed Scrapper - Katana - Radiation Armor_Change.mxd Scrapper - Katana - Radiation Armor_current.mxd

I mainly play scrappers and the other troller I play is Fire/Dark and plays more like a scrapper. I am not worried about IO cost etc (I have that covered) I just need a build to use as a guide line for that pairing

Of course I am a scrapper at heart I had 7 at 50 on live I have 7 at level 50 6 are IO out to the gills. I finally got a tank to 50 with DB/Dark Armor always loved DA but lack of taunt aura on scrapper just forced me over to tank

I never got a Will power to 50 on live I not managed it on here either I tried Katana.wp but stopped and retired it at the same level of 28 was such a yawn fest I tried katana.rad and man now that i loved. Now I need a primary with really really good Single target and at least good Aoe to pair with willpower Off the Tables are Ice I have two level 50 Ice melee with /bio and /shield and Katana been there done that I have a mace sitting in early 30's but so far meh I may just need to push through but looking for suggestions

Rad has been one of the best secondaries for survive ability for me as a scrapper hands down easy pease I originally did fire/rad but I prefer my Katana/rad Sorry Rad is a house if done right as a scrapper

Take this from a guy who got Fire Melee/Shield in the top 10 of Pylons pre-incarntes on live then leveled a Fire/Rad scrapper all the way to 50 full top of the line IO build on homecoming (yes those1 billion influence style of pimpout) retired him soon after. Some of the issues I see currently Fire Breath is an utter garbage of an attack one of the worse in the game from a scrapper side. This from a person who was able to line up the triangle in the old days with Shadow Maul and I could not make Firebreath worth using and I tried here on homecoming. The animation time is for ever the cone is so narrow even when you jump back you are lucky to hit two mobs and the damage is hot garbage. To much of the damage is in dot form in the old days that was fine in today's coh yea it hurts. They need to reduce the amount of dots and put in more burst damage they could make them like Midnight grasp 3-5 ticks at most and move more damage up front Next all you get from fire is damage is nothing not even top damage Katana you get -def + defense and you can put a proc in to do -resistance , Martial Arts,Axe, Mace etc get things like Knockdown , Knock-up; disorient etc etc so all these other sets have mitigation better or similar damage. Whats the point of playing fire when other sets can out perform Fire plus give mitigation or be c lose enough in performance by giving you tools or mitigation. The question becomes why play fire the only answer I have is it is still better than Kinetic melee I would love to pull my Fire/Rad out of retirement but there is no point right now my Katana/Rad is so far above my Fire/Rad including damage. Things that need to happen reduce make Fire Breath in line with Frost on distance cone, range, activation times ; up the damage and reduce the # of dots Then boost the dps; reduced the amount of dots and clean up animations

The comprise I have is that we remove the taunt from the secondary and move it to all the primary. My suggestion is since no one really ever takes the garbage single target taunt on scrappers we turn it into a taunt aura. That way anyone that wants a taunt aura takes it from the primary since we already have a taunt power it just now an aoe toggle and anyone that does not want one can skip the taunt.

Six sets with a taunt aura the original being invulnerability all the way back to I1 Shield Will Power Bio armor Invulnerability Energy Aura Radiation Armor and if they pull it from the old sets I just quit the game or move to one of the other Free to play games My only suggestion is to remove it and turn the single taunt in the primaries as a taunt aura then anyone can have one and it is no longer based on secondary and is skippable -

They did not even realize the other sets had a taunt if I remember correctly and they think it is a bad idea. The issue it just makes the sets worse and there is no reason to play the sets without a taunt aura. That is fine I will just skip them and stick to inv, Bio, Shield, WP, Rad and EA. Basically Bio, and shield will always be top dogs with Rad third -
See all this talk about brawl reminds me before we had all the real numbers available we calculated damage on attacks with the Brawl Index which was basically go punch a minion at even level see how much damage your brawl does and there was a formula for it from there.
