I love all the Task Forces / Strike Forces barring Justin Augustine. Augustine is just plain boring. I'd love to see that one get way less boring/more...unique? I guess. I think the most egregious zone-hopping ones are Q and Numina. Both of those could use some overhaul in that regard. My guilty pleasure is the Faathim Task Force.

If you're looking to influence what changes are done to this game? No one but the devs SHOULD dictate that. It's their time and effort and ultimately their server. We're not paying customers, most of us aren't the developers, and none of us are really the reason why HC exists. I say that in a general sense, not as a whole all out sense. We can suggest all we want, but that's about as far it goes besides feedback through testing. Cobalt also laid out SOME of the questions they ask themselves for changes:

https://discord.gg/DptUBzh This is the Gold Standard Tester Discord. It is an unofficial-official Discord that serves as the place for the Alpha / "Closed Beta" section of testing. It also allows for those who WISH to test to engage with the Devs in a better format than the forums, but that's personal opinion. Either way, the point of me dropping the invite is this: Any one of you can help test the changes that MAY be coming or may just be experiments. What sort of stuff is coming is left into that Discord until it hits Brainstorm - where it is considered Open Beta. Notably, anything not openly posted on the Brainstorm section needs to stay within the Discord. Unless openly stated by the devs. There are 20+ people on average testing each page or experimental changes. It would be nice for that to grow! However, as N6 has said in other threads, the process is opt-in. It's entirely optional if you want to test these things before the wider audience gets their hands on them. So it is on you at this point to join up or not. Likely answer: Become a dev yourself.

I think it is time to get rid of Reward Merits and PAPs
Ruin Mage replied to kelika2's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Oh so the suggestion that makes no sense is trolling. Got it. -
what is this thread even about.

Hm, this thread got interesting.

Why in the fuck would they remove a currency they just added? How does that even remotely make any sense? This is a horrible suggestion on that alone, but to remove reward merits is...just silly. -
Yin TF and the page 5 power level changes
Ruin Mage replied to KaizenSoze's topic in General Discussion
Don't mind Greycat's post, he's been on the "This is what's next" train despite HC not giving any indication that it is what's next. That being said, neat info! Thanks Kaiser. -
Welcome to the Incarnate System.

On what happened? Probably got swamped by moderating in the wake of Page 4 (I wonder why) and Page 5. That and topics ran out or they forgot to pick them back up?

My only take is that simply upping the level cap is likely to take a hefty bit of work. The Level Shifts were Paragon Studio's 'version' of that, but without having to do the task of making stuff for level 51-60 (or higher, etc) - though who knows, maybe its something thats on the dev's table. Personally I'd want the level cap to go up being a BIG part of an Issue. Mobs can only go to 54, so it'd take some work there too.

No thanks. War Witch & Apex team-ups? Sure. War Witch in the Phalanx? Hit the snooze button on that one.

Perhaps this thread might help you, Cedd. Those are fit to the sets, but yeah scaling it to every set is a disaster waiting to happen
-
Probably better to stop posting ideas if you can't thoroughly explain it or elaborate on it. You're basically blindfolding yourself and throwing darts. Also, the game isn't really set up to allow player choice like that and I'd find it to be a terrible idea.

End PL allow characters to begin at 50
Ruin Mage replied to MsSmart's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Oh yeah, the Market would take a sweet little swan dive into Live-levels of hell. Anyone want purple IOs costing 1bil-2bil again? -
Game isn't set up to have this sort of thing happen. Croatoa is more known for the Red Caps, Tuatha, Fir Bolg, and Cabal - demons wouldn't make sense. Story wise, the Gold Brickers are on the run after the death of Midas (as per the Aeon SF) Just my 2cents.

End PL allow characters to begin at 50
Ruin Mage replied to MsSmart's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I remain opposed to this as I have in other threads. It's just not an idea I can get behind. One reason? The name policy. Level 50s are immune, and if a "free level 50" thing was allowed? Nah. -
Let people make their topics and speak.

So anywhere, there I was busy wrestling a crocodile when I saw the love of my life... -
I can't blame you there, but HC operates more on the idea of sticking to what might fit the game but in their own way. I don't know if we would have gotten Seismic Blast, Electric Affinity (I am getting the name wrong), or the ASF from Paragon Studios. I have my doubts on it at least. Well, no server is going to stick to what Live was. Live was becoming a subscription/money focused F2P game hellhole and let's be real that it was only going to get worse. Hell, things were probably going to get worse in general. I like to believe that what HC is doing is a good vision. A vision that not everyone agrees with, and that's entirely fine.

So there I was, fighting a chimpanzee one on one in hand to hand combat...

The only thing you cannot do on these forums is be a bigot (go figure) and harass. Well and you kinda are slapped upside the head for being mean as hell. I wonder why I'm still here.
