The most significant difference solo is things scatter more and low health strays may escape more often. It's not a crippling issue if you have to gun it before cell is ready. -

Ideally, they reconsider. But on the bright side, assault rifle will be in a much better spot, regardless of being saddled with a useless stun. -

That is their current plan, yes. It is also why I think it is a godawful change. So you don't solve the problem, and make it worse for people who invest in their character, this helps how, exactly? -

Please don't beanbag storm cell. This doesn't address the complaints of the people whining about it here, and makes the power relocation more of a struggle for anyone playing past level 10. How did this idea even leave the drawing board? It makes the set worse. -

Ar has more than enough aoe, now that flamethrower doesn't take three hours to land anymore, and the oft forgotten grenade typing change made that power more palatable. It's the single target that needs a bit of help, and incinerator being buffed a bit will likely address that, despite the giant step backward reverting aim is. -

Lacking any evidence due to not having the foresight to actually record it at the time during it's short-lived existence, that's really all I got for ya. I could get into detail regarding how you had to recast it much more, when right now you are able to blast much more without having your flow interrupted, but other than my word and the fact you know I'm a good player, you're not getting much better than that. Do I agree that a shorter recharge would be fine if there wasn't a catch to duration or damage? Sure, at least it would shut people up about it. But that catch is the important disqualifier here. I think it's a non-issue, personally, there's no reason not to slot it with recharge, you'll accidentally get enough if you slot a full posi to get it damn near perma before we even factor in global recharge. -

Fulcrum shift isn't a core part of kinetics? Heat loss and benumb aren't a core part of cold? News to me. Recharge isn't going down without a duration cut, which will put the set in a worse place and in effect accomplish nothing. You alone account for most of the replies in this thread, tone it down a bit. -

Not even proccable like suppressive, to boot. Sorry, I don't see the value of the stupefy proc in a set that already has the capability to permaknock whatever it's hitting. AR, unlike DP - also has good attacks now, so the need for a mez power is already hard to justify. Why mez an LT or boss when I can obliterate it with snipe, slug, incinerate and burst in no particular order while passively locking it down with knockdown? -

Overly complicated solution to the problem of "Beanbag is bad and incompatible with AR." at the end of the day. Aim is a simple fix that accomplishes the same end goal. Being 'generic' isn't a bad thing in and of itself. -

I'm using posi and/or ice mistral without it's proc. If you slot the ice mistral proc, it can proc on summoning, which notifies and can lead to headaches before you're ready. -

Intensify buffs your proc chances for lightning and wind by 20%. So cloudburst would be 90% for wind and 80% for lightning. -
Can we have an option to choose between Aim or Bean Bag?

I dig adding the proc chances to the advanced tool tip. And I honestly don't see how people think cloudburst underperforms. Between that, hailstorm and DS, as well as the absurdly high chance to proc, it's pretty strong. -

Just slap a posi set in there and call it a day. Do I think Storm Cell could probably contribute more? Sure. Do I think they'll do that without nerfing something else, probably not, even though I think it'd be fine. -

My opinion is known to you, but I want to voice it openly. Aim should stay. If you want to avoid the cottage burn for beanbag specifically for some reason, you should just move the stun effect to another power, like incinerate or slug. If incin is supposed to be ar's big single target chunker, powers like that often have secondary effects like a stun or knock or whatever. Slapping damage and a lower recharge on beanbag like what you did with suppressive isn't going to work. -

I'd settle for a middle point: a weaker Aim that gives sniper rifle, slug and incinerator a high chance to stun during its duration. Makes the stun unintrusive for ideal Ar play and gives a valuable damage buff regardless, gives the people who think Beanbag is worth taking their precious stun. Beanbag is otherwise a bad power for AR. A single target stun is not a good power for a set with as much knock as ar. -

It would delay certain timing-sensitive operations though, such as firing a glue arrow and then blasting off with a weapon before things are able to scatter out of your cones. -
