  1. It might be exclusive to Starless Step, since I'm starting with that and haven't double checked with jaunt/CT yet, but this isn't working. I just teleport into the wall like I did before.
  2. Are you unfamiliar with the slash command that's been going around? I thought you were talking about that. That gives context to a lot of this.
  3. I will say, I'm going to miss the massive amount of jump control that gymnastics+CJ gave. But I'll take oil slick as a proper apology. 🙂
  4. Right now, that is not working for me when using starless step. I haven't tested the pool versions on Brainstorm yet, though. Plan to tonight.
  5. How do you chain AS with AS? 😛
  6. I'm very eager to see what the people who go really hard on pylon builds cook up for this. With a chain of TF>ET>BS>punch>AS, I was able to get 1:40ish times pretty reliably, and I really doubt that's an optimal chain.
  7. Play it and provide feedback and ideas to improve it, don't just accept it for what it currently is.
  8. That bug predates the katana redraw changes, so I doubt it. There's something else broken there.
  9. I really don't like this one, but overall the changes are nice. One beefy power press is more valuable than an instantly recharging, middling power.
  10. Huge fan of power crash on stalkers, when it's up, it hurts. The focus mechanic is neat too, though I do think it shouldn't be exclusively generated from total focus - it would probably be a balancing nightmare to add that to the other powers in some form, though. Are you unironically defending stun, of all powers here?
  11. It's not. They still have it, but I assume it was omitted from the post since it would function identically to how it already did + the untouchable buff. Whereas starless and slip used to do something else, and got altered to be what they are here.
  12. WS Teleport powers working while shifted would be pretty rad. I wouldn't be against letting our light-based cousins get the same functionality if they take the pool powers, either.
  13. Peacebringers get a free LOTG already, among actually getting some (relatively) recent QoL. Gatekeeping feedback like that is a bad look, you're not an authority. I'll leave it at that.
  14. Two questions for Warshades: 1: Is it intentional that warshade's inherent teleport ability does not get the untouchable status? If so, why? 2: Is it at all possible that starless step could be allowed to work while shapeshifted? That would be pretty awesome. Feedback so far: 1: Fold space is awesome, love it. 2: I'm in agreement that combat teleport should just have defense. I don't really see the +tohit as being desirable or useful outside of extremely niche situations.
  15. ...That part of the command isn't being touched. Anyway, enough of this, coffee to do and testing to drink. Good luck Widower, Jimmy. I do not envy your positions in these coming days.
  16. That command's days were numbered from the start. We're getting so many travel powers here that it's a non-issue for all except maybe a Doctor Q.
  17. Look forward to testing this tonight.
  18. They will essentially be only good for saving a base you like's address when next to a portal.
  19. Imagine editing a wiki because you lost an argument. Clown.
  20. The entitlement some people have for a dev cheat never ceases to both amuse and disappoint me. Travel in this game is trivial. We have a million and one ways to get around - but the idea of you losing your instant warp from anywhere is enough to make you go? I find that stance laughable. That's nothing but pure laziness.
  21. Everlast, if I somehow managed to get it on Excelsior that'd be even more insane.
  22. They gave Family some pretty crazy weapons, though they got tied to lower levels, like most unique mechanics, sadly. Personally, I'd love to see council get some of their low level mechanics back, like shapeshifting and the occasional swarm of robots and robotic mech bosses. There are so many interesting villain groups, yet you never encounter them past a certain level. You stop encountering drones like blasters and disruptors for Arachnos, Council stop shifting, Crey lose their scientists debuffs/buffs for swarms of power armor lead by paragon protectors, circle of thorns lose most of their variety and only have death mages, archers and demons, PSI PPD stop showing up in favor of peacebringers, the list goes on. Might have to make a thread just for that, really. I feel like it would add a lot of flavor to the post-50 game if we could run paper missions with an old enemy group of our choice.
  23. Lots of variables here, but for simplicity's sake: Report it, but first document it and the interesting applications (ideally with video) to illustrate why this could be left alone, or turned into a feature in a later build.
  24. I for one, enjoyed being the last man standing against a mob that was designed to kill me. They were one of the truly difficult things to encounter in the wild, kept things unpredictable.
