  1. I derped while typing and counted the heca as a proc. Three procs.
  2. Honestly, et itself doesn't need much recharge to get going. I have zero in mine right now and I'm able to run a pretty scary stalker chain. I went with +5 heca damage, two nucleus and four procs.
  3. Perhaps we do, but I find your complaints about the "combo system" as you call it to be a stretch at best. It's a minor complaint for my stalker as I have to tf before every AoE, but otherwise not really noteworthy. I would like another way to generate focus on the condition it didnt come at the cost of current throughput.
  4. Eagles claw gets very good cleave and can now slot armageddon + fury for even more damage, leaving tail open for a winter set or whatever else. Ec>storm>axe>storm will easily overtake the current chain as the best with these changes in mind. Move hecatomb+Achilles into axe. To say martial is somehow weaker as a result of these changes is just a blatant lie, it makes me cast doubt on if you have even tested it.
  5. I'd be for a new round of travel sets, either some universal travel sets, or even more focused sets. But yes, that isn't happening in this patch, so something to think about another time.
  6. @TrooThe only thing I agree with you on is how focus can only be generated by TF, I don't like that limitation very much. I would be for something like what energy assault has, with a chance to generate focus when you start beating on stunned targets. Hell, it would make using focus on bone smasher a bit more enticing, as well. Alternatively, generating focus on build up could be cool. Though, if such changes were made, I bet it would come at a cost to throughput, which I wouldn't exactly be for.
  7. I just find it odd that we went out of our way to make shadow maul not feel awful to use, then introduce a new AoE that, while much more usable than vanilla shadow maul, still feels sluggish and generally inferior to patron AoEs. The current state of it would be "acceptable" if maul didn't take a huge hit to make it happen. It definitely needs a buff of some sort.
  8. Here we go again. For the record, I agree with you. On topic: What do people think about making ToF have a bit of a longer cd, in exchange for a faster activation and maybe slightly more damage?
  9. I will say, while the untouchable status in teleport is nice for my shade (if it worked.), I can't say I like how seemingly overlooked the travel power itself was. I'd rather it be quicker animating, or have some sort of way to make indoor navigation less of a pain.
  10. Having an actually useful buff tied to CT would be nice, though. The actual usage of the power is great, but the tohit being replaced with something like defense would be very easy and likely have zero impact on how the power is balanced, preserving the fun playstyle. And once again, starless step while shifted please, papa powerhouse.
  11. I don't see how you're going to fold space "an entire team into a dumpster" when the power respects LoS, does not let you pick where things get ported, is not as clean as wormhole and people are doing anything but standing still with their eyes pressed against your chest.
  12. It definitely was intentional, that much is certain. It has a longer recharge and is the only AoE in the set.
  13. I can see fold space being particularly nasty on storm characters and especially fire/psi doms.
  14. Also not a huge fan of ToF in it's current state. If it activated much faster I'd like it more. Two seconds is so sluggish for such a spammy power.
  15. What are you testing on? On live right now, my DP/martial has been unplayable for almost a year now, as hail of bullets is doing about 50-60% less damage than it's supposed to.
  16. The animation/FX could definitely use some work on power crash. Something with impact. Problem is finding an animation to fit the activation time.
  17. My shade has to surrender a power pick for it's combat travel power, your PB has it built in, while being able to surrender that same exact slot to the fastest travel power in the game which doubles as a LOTG mule. PBs and warshades are different, who would have guessed.
  18. Because it's already fast, and letting starless work in all forms is a more elegant solution than chopping away dwarf-port to make it work like starless does. Each form has a travel power, none of them have a combat-travel like starless. Thematics are subjective, I would argue losing the ability to warp space quickly just because you assumed the form of a nova to be nonsensical. Functionally, the ability to port away without having to shapeshift into human first is much more fluid gameplay. It doesn't need it, but it would certainly be a nice addition to the warshade's arsenal, and make it much more desirable overall.
  19. No, bad idea. Leave the dwarf port alone, but give the forms the option of using starless step, if it has been taken.
  20. That's not even that impressive by itself. Most attacks that crit can reach that level of power. The raw beatdowns you can achieve with an attack chain as energy are a wonderful thing.
  21. I imagine they don't want to step on gravity's toes too much. Still, a slow or chance for knockdown would be nice. Either way, I like the power quite a lot on my shade.
  22. I disagreed with that logic then, and I still disagree with it now. Outside of inserting a new mechanic to the power that's absolutely unique to CT, giving the power +defense is just a change for consistency, not any different than why Hover and CJ have it. It's simple, if people want it for their own merits, they'll take it while having access to the same buff the other two have. Recharge boost or defense, I like both for my build purposes, though I'm a bit disappointed that the more unique ideas were not settled on. Fact of the matter is that defense would be far more valuable than tohit in most situations. I don't see a situation where I spam ct three times before an attack, or weave it before every attack to make use of it. I can see weaving it to maintain recharge or defense, but not tohit. EDIT: Touching hasten would be a non-starter, don't even go there.
  23. Why stop at dwarves? Let them use it in nova, as well. Instead of leaping out and flying away to reposition, I can port away and start blasting instantly, with much easier repositions to help leverage my cones better.
  24. I'm in agreement. I love the mobility offered by CT, but the tohit is actually worthless. I doubt it would even help much in situations where cascading -tohit debuffing is occurring. I don't really know why tohit was chosen for this, nobody is going to say, spam CT before every snipe, or every attack. That's a net DPS loss. Defense and defense set slotting to keep it like the other combat-travel powers would be perfect. Should just do that if we're not going to introduce a unique mechanic of some sort.
  25. Starless Step and LoS When using the new and improved Powexec_location command for Starless Step, attempting to go through obstacles does not work, and has you smashing yourself into a wall/obstacle like you would on live servers right now. Shadow step works properly with this command, porting through objects and directly to my target. Shadow Step does not grant untouchable status. Assuming this is a bug, but testing for several hours and trying to leverage it, I have yet to get a single instance of being untouchable. I've even gotten myself killed in the name of science for it.
