  1. As the title says.
  2. A common practice on LAM badge runs is to pass all the temps to the team or league leader, so people don't accidentally use them. In the past, the first Acid or Grenade I got would show up both in the temp tray and the first available spot in the power tray. Annoying, but no big deal. Now, that happens even when one of them is passed to me. Honestly, I don't need them in both spaces at all, but especially when all available power spots are filled in it really ups the chance for an OOPS!
  3. Sure, no problem.
  4. This is still a work in progress, but where's what I came up with so far in case anyone wants it or wants to give feedback: Also, I have this popmenu bound to my "C" key to do the terminals countdown: UPDATE: I realize I'm just talking to myself in this thread right now, but just in case anyone references this in the future here's what I have found works for me. RECRUITING You can get all of the badges for this in one run, but what I have found (so far) is that it's easier to focus on getting either Fair & Balanced or News Flash. So, I do 1 run for each of those badges. I run Fair & Balanced first because you might happen to get News Flash anyway. For Fair & Balanced, I initially put everyone into 4 teams - myself as the only one in Team 1 and everyone else in Teams 2-4. I then ask for 1 tank + 3-4 others with high DPS, single target attacks or mez. I move all of these volunteers over to Team 1 with me, and fill out the rest of Team 1 with players who can act as a backup for the outside team in the event this starts to go sideways. I ask for volunteers for this team, rather than assigning it, in the hopes they will be more committed to doing the work. The first time I assigned these tasks half the people didn't do their assigned job and we failed. With volunteers, we've been successful. Having them all on Team 1 lets there be a communication channel that's open just to them, without cluttering league chat. LEADING I have Incan slotted in Destiny for this trial. I try to make it into the room with HD first and then incan the league there. Others are faster than I am and sometimes get there first, which is fine. Despite asking people to heal HD, I have found I'm basically the one who needs to keep an eye on that. Often when you first get to HD you'll see some NPCs attacking it, so I focus on clearing them out and using heal for HD. I'm told that there was a change and there is not a big benefit now to activating all terminals at the same time. I haven't researched that, so for now I continue to do it the old fashioned way. My second popmenu above is used for the countdown so all the terminals get activated at the same time. I count down from 5 the first 2-3 rooms, but then once everyone has the hang of it I just countdown from 3. If you have it bound to a key like I do (in my case "c") you can hit c-l, then c-5, c-4, c-3, c-2, c-1 to do the countdown. I call for Lore Pets in the final battle with Maelstrom. Some people use them early so you may want to say something about that at the start if it matters to you. RESOURCES I found this old thread to be helpful in getting familiar with leading the trial. I was especially confused where which building was, and where to go once inside. The maps there helped a lot. Hopefully all of that helps someone on down the road. YET ANOTHER UPDATE: This is important! I am told the required theme music for this trial can be found here:

    MoTPN popmenu

Does anyone have - and would be willing to share - a popmenu for Master of TPN? My search-fu on this topic is not strong.
  6. I understand your time is limited. If you can make it to a Hami raid you can make 160 reward merits in about 15-20 minutes for 3 runs. You can use those to buy 480 enhancement converters which right now can easily sell for 60,000 inf each on /ah. That's going to be very similar to the return you are seeing from fire farming, likely with much less time and effort. On Excelsior, the 5pm Central daily raid in The Abyss tends to squeeze in 5-6 runs because @Laucianna does however many she can within a 30 minute window. Couple that with the nightly 9pm Central raids in The Hive (which I believe normally does 3 runs) you could be earning 400 reward merits daily. On the weekends, as much as I can, I do an early 3pm Central raid in the Abyss and we always do 3-4 runs. If I run the Sunday 5pm Central run, I tend to start when the zone fills (which can be 15-30 minutes early) and we go until 15 or 30 minutes after the hour (which can be 6 or more runs). Potentially, Sunday Hamis could net you 560 reward merits, or more if you bring in new characters each run or hop between servers. The downside to Hamis (at least on Excelsior) is you need to be in zone well before the advertised start time as the zone will fill up. That's a lot of downtime unless you have a second account you can log into and play elsewhere until the raid starts. If not, it's also an excellent time to share dad jokes in broadcast. 🙂
  7. I'll just speak to this one. If you need incarnate components and prefer to solo, check my signature for a guide to running the Heather Townshend arc in Dark Astoria. You can get an incarnate component roll every 15 minutes (probably less). If you prefer teaming, I really think a Speed Lambda iTrial is the way to go. Each run is about 12 minutes long with an incarnate salvage roll at the end, so if you get a group that sticks together it's really easy to run several in a row because you don't have the downtime in recruiting. It's also a very easy trial to lead, so you don't have to wait for others to run it. Honestly, I run it sometimes on my secret secondary account without giving any instructions - people just know what to do.
  8. Dang, I missed that. Much like when I drive, all the accidents seem to happen BEHIND me.
  9. And, you know, here in the very forums we currently peruse.
  10. I may have fixed it, but I'm going to leave this here in case it helps someone else. The "Game Capture" source was causing the game to crash, but if I use the "DIsplay Capture" source instead it seems to be working fine. UPDATE: Turns out that "Window Capture" is supposedly better than "Display Capture."
  11. The game freezes if I try to switch scenes in OBS while streaming. Any suggestions?
  12. If an NPC version of Luna and BevevoLabs could be added to a base, that would help. Not sure if that's possible. Then you could do most all conversions in a base, at least.
  13. I guess it didn't register with me until just now that Unstable Aether cannot be sold in the auction house, like Prismatic Aether can. Part of this may be my own low level OCD or something, but I always "cash out" my character after a play session. I go to Luna and convert all the Astrals to Empyreans, I go to the other guy and sell all the enhancements and salvage, then I put anything else I can sell on the auction house. If needed, I run to my base and convert Emps to Transcendants, then email those to a central character so they are all in the same place. All of this management is not especially fun, but I'm at a point I can do it relatively quickly so I guess it's not too bad. Unstable Aether, then, will be kind of like vMerits. I have 10 vMerits sitting on a character and I can't do anything with them - they just sit there and take up space, and I can't even email them to another of my characters. At least I would be able to email and consolidate the Unstable Aether on one character, I guess, but then that character needs to make a special trip somewhere every now and again to convert them to Prismatic Aethers and post them on the auction house. My low level OCD demands it. Maybe we could create something at a P2W vendor that would let you take the "cash equivalent" or salvage (or whatever) in lieu of Unstable or Prismatic Aether drops? (Likewise, if I could just donate vMerits "to charity" to get them out of my inventory, that would be great.) I appreciate that there are plenty of players who love collecting Aethers, but I really have no interest in chasing that, but I still have to deal with the currency. It would be nice for me (and any others who unfortunately are like me) if we had a way to opt out of that and just get something else instead that we're already managing. Just a thought.
  14. Be a great suggestion to put in the Suggestions forum so it can get argued over then lost entirely. Personally, I'd love to see it.
  15. If I could have any superpower, I would probably choose China.
  16. Wandered around the expanded base at lunch and I liked it. Made me wonder if maybe we could have a portal from the base to Point du Hoc?
  17. LFG works perfectly and Empathy has the best rez in the game
  18. It was suggested I bring my comment from the main thread over here. I don't think we should add another currency (Unstable Aether). In fact, I think we need to work towards reducing currencies. This is going to be another currency that sits in my inventory that I need to manage. But that's just my 2 cents. I'll drop it now.
  19. I've been told I should google a recipe for blue waffles, too.
  20. I'm a recovering programmer who still relapses every now and again. I recognize some of what you say. For instance, I know what an ATM is - that's where I go to when I need actual cash out of my account.
  21. I posted in the Suggestions forum once that maybe we could have an NPC in Atlas that you could ask to evaluate your build (on a pretty basic level) who could point out "Hey you 6 slotted this power with damage enhancements, and here's why you may want to do that differently" or "Looks like you have 6 sets giving you +7.5% recharge" etc. Just moving some of that knowledge from the wiki into the game itself would be helpful and more player-friendly.
  22. I don't see a Focused Feedback specific to Unstable Aether. I've voiced this before and generally I think people don't agree with me, but I'll say it again. I think we need FEWER currencies, not more. I think we need to be working towards simplifying the mechanics of the game, not make them more complicated. For me, multiple currencies makes sense with a paid, retail game where you are trying to extract revenue from a customer. We're in a different spot now. For instance, I'm all for getting rid of Incarnate Shards and components and going strictly with a threads system to get incarnate powers - 60 for T1, 80 for T2, etc. Make it simple. I don't think we make the game more fun by having shards, threads, astrals, emps, and a lot of different components, all to achieve the same result. The more we make this game something that requires a new player to consult a wiki to understand how everything works, the less new people are going to want to stick with it. I love all the new material, and I really appreciate all the dev work on that, but I really would like to see us embedding warnings (or whatever) for Enhancement Diversification, the Law of Fives, etc. into the game itself. Really, that's my only gripe about this particular issue/page. Looks good otherwise.
  23. My problem with Enhancement Diversification has always been that nothing in the game warns you about slotting that 4th (and subsequent) damage enhancement. Sure, if you are looking at the numbers as you go you'll notice something is off, but I don't think most players really do that. Same thing with The Law Of Fives.
