Ice slick has a 75% chance to do .55 damage every .2 seconds for its duration. Additionally, that chance then needs a to hit roll to actually do the damage and you can't slot accuracy enhancements in it. So, probably not worth it.

There are actually winged sandles in game already. I was sad to see they didn't animate the first time I tried them with fly.

Going to have to disagree here. First of all, Recovery Serum is not permanent, so when it's down, you need to be able to manage your endurance. Secondly, Ageless is only available once you hit 50 and only exemplaring down to 45. Additionally, it prevents you from using another Destiny that could potentially be better suited for a character.

My only concern is that people who switch from hero to villain wouldn't automatically have villain events added. And might still show hero events that they can no longer participate in.

I'm not able to log on for a couple of days, unfortunately. The simple thing to do would be to jump on the beta server and purchase the COT costume with one of my MA toons. Probably won't be until Monday or Tuesday before I get to do this, so if someone has the gumption to try this before me that'd be cool.

Hiding body parts and clipping are two different things. The potential issue I see is kicks might cause the leg to go through the long skirts. I'm all for the idea if the clipping is minimal, however.

That's my understanding, at least. I may be off on that though.

Just to jump on specifics a tiny bit... SR you want to take every power with the exception being Elude. You don't necessarily need to skip it, but you probably won't use it. @Doomguide2005 has an SR scrapper that I've played with a bunch. I think he said he's used Elude 2 or 3 times since he made the toon back in 2019.

I like that look, and have certainly had characters that wanted a full length dress. However... I believe the clipping issue is in regards to player skeletons. Basically, the COT get around this by not having legs under their robes, but you can't do that with player frames.

Not to mention that fights usually have multiple damage types/vectors, so it would end up being a weaker set.

Sometimes the GMOTD pops up after a mission complete if you haven't seen it since it was last updated. I've never had any reliable way of re-triggering it though.

I get grumpy when i see Cold or Thermal without the shields, or if they take it and never cast it. I generally don't say anything, but I do get grumpy.

I can't really think of any hard-and-fast rules that would go with every build. For example, I usually build for soft capped Ranged and AoE defense on my squishies, but that goes out the window when looking at Dominators or Illusion Controllers, where recharge is more important. Also, armored toons without DDR generally focus mostly on resistance, but something like Dark Armor can still benefit from some defense.

AMD Radeon user here (and Linux to boot) so this doesn't apply to me... BUT... I personally hate that on Windows driver updates can be tied to software as opposed to just standalone installers. I have heard that Nvidia learned some stuff with the new app and so it doesn't take up quite as many resources running in the background though.

As you stated, Warshades get status protection in Black Dwarf. Additionally, you can toggle on Black Dwarf while mezzed.

Agreed, even after the nerf, its a beautiful thing.

I should point out that this is not an efficient way to get ATOs. ATOs generally run 8-10 million inf, while 100 merits can get you a Winter IO which will sell for ~20 million inf

The other advantage of having it in START is that the one in Pocket D is usable while in a TF. Since START grants powers, I'd assume it can grant tokens as well.

I don't remember the exact percentage off the top of my head, but 30 is when they overtake even-level SOs, just by a small amount though.

You can do some bind work to make it so the emote happens whenever you press your Forward key, however. It's not a perfect solution, in that it doesn't work 100% of the time. I've often wondered... We now have different "run" stances we can use via the costume creator, could that be expanded to the fly poses as well?

If you're on Everlasting, Repeat Offenders exists. We're not anywhere near as active as we were on Live, but I always start in our global channel when looking for or starting a team.

You're level 27, so I would look at purchasing level 30 Common IOs from the AH. With a little patience, you can get all of them for 50k each or less. This is a bit more than an SO at that level, but you never have to replace or upgrade them, so it works out in the long run. Also, if you are buying set IOs, you can purchase them pre-attuned from the AH for the same price as the un-attuned. This saves you having to purchase a catalyst. The only things you need catalysts for are turning ATOs/Winter IOs into their Superior counterparts. I would also suggest dropping either the recharge or one of the end redux in Spinning Strike for an accuracy instead.
