  1. IMO the only thing that Sonic Resonance really needs is the recharge on liquify cut down substantially, like, in half. Sonic siphon is good for tough targets in end game, but it really shines in low levels before people have a lot of slots in their attack.
  2. Not every set is for everybody, I've got sets (and heck, whole ATs) that don't jive with me.
  3. Except that with everything but the hardest content you're actually better off with a full team of (de)buffers than you are a balanced "Trinity" team.
  4. To my knowledge, the holy Trinity was never "needed" in CoH. Mind you, I started in i6, so I don't know about the early days, but with the exception of fringe content, healers always took a back seat to (de)buffers, which is not the way a Trinity game works. Additionally, and someone who was around before me can correct me if I'm wrong, controllers used to be able to lock down every spawn with their AoE hold, then Jack decided people didn't like playing City of Statues and AoE holds got their durations and recharges nerfed. Tankers used to herd entire maps, that wasn't because of healers.
  5. Kin also has the added effect of -damage, which should help a little. I personally have a MA/Regen brute to stack Storm Kick's defense on top of Regen, he's relatively sturdy, and if I ever bother IOing him out the rest of the way should be almost tanky.
  6. Quite a few psi attacks do smashing damage as well. Before the defense change, these attacks could be avoided by smashing defense, now they cannot.
  7. Not reading this whole thread, but my summary Regen on sentinels is actually pretty good Regen on Brutes is ok as long as you don't plan on tanking Regen on scrappers/stalkers: avoid like the plague

  13. My point was that water spout in leviathan mastery is different than what you are calling water spout, whereas Darkest Night is the same power.

  15. Dark melee is a solid choice. You get a self heal to fill in that gap. SR is an amazing set on tanks though, you really can't go wrong with secondary.

  17. yeah, it's not downloading right for some reason... i just checked and it is showing 0 bytes size I've done a couple of uninstall/reinstalls of vidiot. *edit* i just did the manual install from the google drive link and that worked perfectly.
  18. I just did a fresh install of Homecoming and then tried to install vidiot through the Mod installer, now when I HC, I get the following error and HC won't start.
  19. Use pet_select_name instead of targetcustomnext and it will always target your own.

  21. So, Fire/Rad (should) be less endurance intensive just because of AM to offset some of the endurance cost. Fire/Storm will be more chaotic with multiple tornados and lightning storms.
  22. Most over powered would probably be empathy if you could cast it on yourself. Adrenaline Boost + Clear Mind + Fortitude = SR defender with permanent Instant Healing.
  23. I'll throw out there to make sure you slot an end reduction in your attacks too. I always slot 1 accuracy, 1 end redux first, then damage
  24. Maneuvers provides more defense than anything other than weave Combat Jumping, hover, and suppressed stealth provide the same defense numbers (but with varying endurance costs)
