  1. Ice control *is* good, it's just that like most control sets, it suffers from low damage. How to speed it up: Take a secondary with a good -resistance power or two Take arcane bolt, with containment it can do triple damage when the arcane boost is up. Alternatively, Go dominator, their secondary set is all about damage. If you care about theme, ice assault is actually one of the better Dom secondaries.
  2. I could see dropping it to level 5 (since you can't run missions in ouro that are in your level range) Of course, standard code rant applies.
  3. I'm not against badges having names that correlate to origin, but tying specific powers to origin is something I'm against. That would mean that certain origins would be better than other origins. Suddenly if you picked the "wrong" origin at start, you might have to re-roll a character just to fix that.
  4. If you installed to the default location, you should be able to find a folder in C:\Games\CoH Homecoming I'm doing this from memory, it might just be C:\Games\Homecoming Anyway, in that folder there should be a file you can create a shortcut from
  5. Kin and Storm are two very different sets and bring different things to the table. Kin is very team friendly, that's not to say it can't solo, but your team will want you for Speed Boost alone. Storm is all about controlled chaos. It is more of a damaging set later in the game. It is also a little bit heavier on endurance than other sets. As for primary, does anything stick out to you as sounding fun? There aren't really any bad sets, so my suggestion is to pick something that sounds fun and enjoy yourself.
  6. latest version of Mids can be found at https://midsreborn.com/ It is up to date as of Page 6. The last major update was Page 6, patch notes for which can be found here.
  7. if you can afford IOs, you can begin slotting attuned IOs as soon as the sets become available. If you're just looking for common IOs, I generally slot level 30s starting at 27.
  8. Sounds like a bug. I remember reading that some of those pet things got moved to the upgrade powers. That also explains why I didn't see any benefit slotting defense in the ninja 1st tier upgrade.
  9. I believe the heal enhancements moved to the 2nd upgrade power.
  10. Really? I thought that was still in vidiot, I'll have to double check.
  11. Since all of dark's AoE is cones (except black star) how do you handle being in melee for venomous gas?
  12. DNA siphon has a base accuracy of 1, meaning 75% chance to hit even conning minions, so yes, you want an accuracy in that Parasitic Aura has a base accuracy of 1.5... I can't do the math in my head right now to figure out what that adds up to, but it's >95% chance against even conning minions. Depending on what level you plan on fighting against will determine if you want to shoot accuracy in it (I still would though)
  13. My understanding is that (spaghetti code) each map has to have a copy of the auction house, which is why instances (including bases) can't have it. A permanent fly without the only affecting self gets a no vote from me. If you want that, take fly or mystic flight
  14. Get your shields slotted, that will make a difference. Also, your 2nd tier demons (available at level 12) have a heal power and a resist shield they will cast on the other minions. Those should help a lot. At level 6, you can't really make too much of a call yet on how something will play.
  15. You left a lot of recharge on the table because of proc bombing, here's a build that is technically perma before alpha, though you really need either spiritual or agility alpha slotted to get it effectively perma. I've also attached my Ill/Storm/Leviathan, again, it really needs Spiritual Alpha to be effectively perma Controller (Illusion Control - Storm Summoning).mbd Havoc Crier - Controller (Illusion Control).mbd

    bio / staff

Bio generally doesn't need help with endurance, which Savage helps a lot with. That being said, the recharge bonus from Savage could be nice for Bio...
  17. Looks like you forgot to attach your build. I've got an Ill/Storm/Leviathan that has perma-PA without any Force Feedback procs, so I know it's possible. On my phone now, happy to post my build later if you want a look at it.
  18. Trick Arrow... Your only "buff" is your t9, which is also a control/debuff.
  19. You solved my problem... I tried running it through WINE instead of lutris and it runs perfectly... I guess I'll just update my desktop shortcut to run that instead of through lutris.
  20. I'm hoping someone has some insight into this
  21. No, the game only runs on Windows or MacOS, or if you're very savvy, Linux.
  22. Daily Hami on everlasting are in the hive, not sure about other shards.
  23. Invul doesn't have -acc, you're thinking willpower. Rise to the Challenge has -tohit in it. Stone armor got revamped a while back, granite isn't necessary anymore to be a strong contender. Also, there are ways of mitigating the Granite Armor penalties. Anyway, back to the OP. Rad armor is best thematically. I've also got a shield/rad, which is a beast, but was painful before Cardiac
  24. I think something isn't right in that lspci command, when I try to run it, I just get the Usage/display modes/Display options information. I think you're trying to get the lspci info for my gpu out of that, so I did just an lspci, got the slot address (in this case it was 3:00.0) and then ran lspci -v -s '3:00.0' The results are below. If this is not what you were expecting, let me know. lspci -v -s '3:00.0' 03:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.
