  1. Part of the Kings Row GM event is an optional “rescue the Shining Stars”
  2. I certainly wouldn’t complain about buffing Storm, but it doesn’t need it, it’s a top tier set. One which is already capable of soloing +4 AVs.
  3. If oil slick “works like other oil slick abilities.” as you suggested, then it is a damaging attack if it can be ignited, that is what I meant. and ”Front Mounted Guns: Fires a cone of damage in front of the car” is an AoE. also, I assumed that RC Bomber would be an AoE by your description.
  4. It’s been a hot minute since I ran a SSA, I forgot they give 4x reward merits for the first run in a week…
  5. I mean, technically they’re not TFs, they’re story arcs. The biggest difference is that TFs are designed to be a team event and story arcs are designed to be either solo or team events. It would be kind of like if Ouro flashbacks were added to WST.
  6. Expanding on this, technically you only needed 1 command to do your bind, a /broadcast. The $$ basically says “now run this 2nd slash command”
  7. Yeah, cars come up fairly regularly. I suspect there are a lot of technical hurdles that would need to be overcome for this to work. Your set seems extremely overpowered though, 3 AoEs *and* a heal in a travel power seems pretty unlikely.
  8. Just FYI, origin powers *are* affected by damage modifiers. They also deal more damage below level 18 and even *more* damage than that below level 11, the damage they do at 50 is basically meaningless. Here’s Taser Dart as an example https://cod.uberguy.net/html/power.html?power=prestige.prestige_attacks.brawl_taser
  9. On my phone, so I’m just looking at the screen shot. Looking at your build, trying to figure out how to help you with the -recharge. First thing I noticed is that you could put the preventative medicine proc in spirit ward. Because PM is a global that grants a proc, it works even if you don’t have the toggle running. You need to find a way to get the Winter’s Gift slow resistance IO into mystic flight. You could potentially drop the KB IO, but that would leave you pretty low in the -kb area. assuming one of those IOs in Stamina is the heal proc, you could potentially drop that one. You may have enough global accuracy that you don’t need the kismet +to-hit IO, otherwise you’d likely have to drop one of the procs in savage leap.
  10. Yes, but taunt does -range, which ball lightning doesn’t do. But that doesn’t really matter if you’re getting everything close enough for your aoes
  11. If you’re building for level 50 content, you only need to worry about +3s once you get your alpha slotted. Regardless, I’d probably still go Dark Obliteration over Cloak of Fear, you get damage and .25% base extra -to-hit. Granted, you’re likely to slot at least some -to-hit in CoF, but it probably about evens out. Just don’t forget that the -16% you’re planning on will be hit by the purple patch and against 54s will be more like 10.5%
  12. SR/MA is kind of overkill… SR can already reach the incarnate defense cap fairly easily, so Storm Kick’s +defense is wasted. It’s not a bad combo, per se, just wouldn’t be my first pick. MA only gets 1 AoE, but it takes a FF proc and there’s lots of room for +recharge, so you can get it up pretty fast.
  13. I remember the first time I took Super Jump as a power pick. My jaw dropped at how high I could suddenly jump.
  14. I really need to sit down at some point and compare Hyperstrike’s builds to my own and see if either of us have room for improvement.
  15. Nope, that’s Purple Triangles of Doom https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Purple_Triangles
  16. In my experience with Traps, caltrops is really only useful in low levels, so if you want to fit in Fold Space, you could drop Super Jump, Combat Jumping, and Caltrops. That way you only lose 1 LoTG.
  17. Everlasting TFs is a great channel for teaming on TFs and the like. Everlasting is the 2nd most popular shard. No, the population isn’t what it was on live and it never will be, but there is usually some stuff going on except for late at night or very early in the morning.
  18. I don’t know if dominators would get caltrops, since one of their secondaries has an almost identical power (thorntrops)
  19. Also, a lot of powers you think are toggles for NPCs (temp invulnerability comes to mind) are actually clicks with a duration and a recharge, which is why you see NPCs that follow you continuously activate them.
  20. https://cod.uberguy.net/html/power.html?power=circleofthorns.boss_succubus.blackclaw&at=boss_grunt less need to do testing if you just look at CoD. Blackclaw does -10% defense, but it is resistable. I don’t feel like comparing CoD for every attack that does -def that CoT enemies have, but at level 50: Magma Thorn Caster has 3 -def attacks Succubus has 1 Master of Ruin has 3 If you want to see what the numbers those provide do, cross reference the HC wiki with CoD https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Circle_of_Thorns alternately, you could turn off your defense toggle, pop enough oranges to be at the resist cap, and let CoT wail on you. Your DDR is all in SR passives, so you’ll see exactly how much -def each attack is doing and you’ll actually have a fair chance of getting hit.
  21. It can be enhanced (if it couldn’t, you wouldn’t be able to slot resistance into it). at ED cap for Corrs, it provides about 30% resistance to S/F and about 15% for everything else. Nothing to sneeze at. But admittedly depending on what you’re chasing for set bonuses, Toroidal is a possible place to skimp on slots.
  22. I remembered late last night that buckshot has a chance for knockback, so with a Sudden Acceleration in buckshot that leaves Cupid’s Crush going into Sleep Grenade if I want the recharge bonus.
  23. Electrifying Fences gives resistance to knock back, not protection, meaning any knock back will turn into knock down. As for the immobilize part of it, you could use Taunt to debuff enemy range so everything is in melee range and then hit EF. You could also use Fold Space to accomplish the same. EF also does similar damage to ball lighting, albeit over a longer DoT.
  24. That’s a good idea too… now the question is sleep grenade or buckshot? buckshot has the added bonus on potentially instantly confusing bosses, but if what I’ve read is true, sleep grenade procs really well…
